Report on Friday night, revealed that former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar; former Kano State Governor, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso; and the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; may be among those considering a return to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. The move came over the Supreme Court judgement, that put to an end the power tussle within the opposition PDP. However, one of our sources was quick to exonerate Amaechi’s move to jettison the ruling party, saying: “Except for people like Amaechi, who are serving, and who you don’t expect to quit the cabinet, most new PDP members will go back ‘home’, where they belong”, he said. Another highly placed party member, who is in the know of the latest twist, disclosed that most, if not all the members of the new PDP, may be on their way back to the PDP. According to the female source, the rebirth is coming at a time when the APC was no longer living up to its billing, in meeting the socio-political and economic yearnings of Nigerians. She said: “As you can see, the Supreme Court judgment has thrown up so many things. From all indications, a lot of realignment and counter-realignment, will begin to emerge to shape the countdown to 2019. “Don’t be surprised when you begin to see the return of our PDP members, who went to APC. Yes, I can tell you that they are already thinking of a return, and this will definitely happen. This I know.” “Atiku can never be in the APC, and still be talking of restructuring. He can’t achieve that in the party, he has to come back to the PDP. “But before then, I want you to recall that Atiku is a strong contender for 2019 Presidency. So, we know that Atiku is already considering this option, since he had been championing the cause for the nation to be restructured.” Nonetheless, one of Atiku’s Aides who craved anonymity, denied the report saying: “That is not on the table, and not on the agenda. “The rumoured defection had been going on for some time now, we don’t know where that is coming from. But I can tell you it is not true. Atiku remains in the APC.” Also, in a swift reaction, Kwankwaso refuted the claims through his Spokesperson, Binta Spikin, saying there was no time he muted the idea of moving out of the party that he suffered to nurture. “Kwankwaso is not an unpopular Politician, who will go out of a party unannounced, you know the army of his followers across the country, so I don’t think he can even think of decamping, without first discussing it with his loyalists.” The former Governor said he did not see anything good in the PDP, that would make him go back. “It is not that simple thing for a man like Kwankwaso, who drives national loyalty and support, to just decamp to a party that still is searching for it is based. “If truly he is going out of the ruling APC, it would have been the talk of the town by now, because he will do it in such a way that millions of his followers will be put in the know, and be prepared for the journey ahead.” http://www.post-nigeria.com/breaking-end-of-the-road-as-amaechi-kwankwaso-atiku-release-statements-on-their-immediate-defection-to-pdp/ This leaves me with the question: Is the APC government ruled by robots or humans? These politicians takes us to be fools although we have SOME fools in Nigeria who is blind to the truth. There will be massive defection To parties towards the road to 2019 Presidential Election. Fellow Nigerians and Nairalanders, we are not ruled by parties but humans. PLEASE let's join hands to vote who is competent to lead Nigeria for our Well being and forget about this party thing. My opinion though, Good morning everyone.

Is APC led government entirely bent on destroying Nigeria for years to come? Is APC bent to frustrate an incoming government to take Nigeria High and make our wishes come true? Are they bent to cause more and more hardship to Nigerians? For the past two years, they have been blaming the past goverment for the situation we have now. When a problem can't be solved people play the blame game. Why do the ruling party ban a lot of things without providing an alternative FIRST? Why do they ban a lot of things and yet can not grow and invest on what we already have? We have a lot of talents in Nigerians that can skyrocket this Nation high but the unbearable situations and harsh environment in our nation will not allow us succeeded. I am drawing my attention to the trending news on International production of music by our locals. Our government still purchase and import foreign made vehicles, foreign made shoes, go to foreign hospitals for checkup and treatments, all kids of a high class politician study abroad and so as the list goes on. It can never be news we have what it takes to GROW Nigeria in Nigeria. Please discerning Nigerians, APC government does not mean well for Nigeria, they have not grown Nigerian rice industry neither have they encouraged Nollywood. All they want is to kill our indigenous musicians career and many more through scorched earth policies and highly jaundiced ethnic manipulations. Artists and the rest are marketers and there is competition in the industry and other platforms. To remain active and recognized you have to improve what you can offer. For the upcoming talents, you have to do things differently from what has been done to be recognized, for Nigeria to be great we have to transform our ways to a better one. It can not surprise you that a country is and always in competition with other countries, if not, it will FADE away and be regardless. If you want to stop a hungry man from being hungry PROVIDE food for him. If you want to stop corruption first PROVIDE means to make people think away from it. If you want to ban things first PROVIDE an alternative favourable to an individual, even a minor. Godbless Nigeria!! We will get to a greater height in this nation ONLY with the RIGHT mindset. |

1. They’re depressed. This is without question the most common reason people commit suicide. Severe depression is always accompanied by a pervasive sense of suffering as well as the belief that escape from it is hopeless. The pain of existence often becomes too much for severely depressed people to bear. 2. They’re psychotic. Malevolent inner voices often command self-destruction for unintelligible reasons. Psychosis is much harder to mask than depression — and arguably even more tragic. The worldwide incidence of schizophrenia is 1% and often strikes otherwise healthy, high-performing individuals, whose lives, though manageable with medication, never fulfill their original promise. 3. They’re impulsive. Often related to drugs and alcohol, some people become maudlin and impulsively attempt to end their own lives. Once sobered and calmed, these people usually feel emphatically ashamed. The remorse is usually genuine, and whether or not they’ll ever attempt suicide again is unpredictable. They may try it again the very next time they become drunk or high, or never again in their lifetime. 4. They’re crying out for help and don’t know how else to get it. These people don’t usually want to die but do want to alert those around them that something is seriously wrong. They often don’t believe they will die, frequently choosing methods they don’t think can kill them in order to strike out at someone who’s hurt them—but are sometimes tragically misinformed. 5. They have a philosophical desire to die. The decision to commit suicide for some is based on a reasoned decision often motivated by the presence of a painful terminal illness from which little to no hope of reprieve exists. These people aren’t depressed, psychotic, maudlin, or crying out for help. They’re trying to take control of their destiny and alleviate their own suffering, which usually can only be done in death. 6. They’ve made a mistake. This is a recent, tragic phenomenon in which typically young people flirt with oxygen deprivation for the high it brings and simply go too far. The only defense against this, it seems to me, is education. The wounds suicide leaves in the lives of those left behind by it are often deep and long lasting. The apparent senselessness of suicide often fuels the most significant pain survivors feel. Thinking we all deal better with tragedy when we understand its underpinnings, I’ve offered the preceding paragraphs in hopes that anyone reading this who’s been left behind by a suicide might be able to more easily find a way to move on, to relinquish their guilt and anger, and find closure. |
