Onix 01: If this eventually turns our to be true. The IG of police has no option than to resign from his post. However the president should declare a state of emergency in NPF and urgently re-structure the system. A society where the police who are to combat robbers are now the robbers and kidnappers is a failed society. D Nassarawa's mayhem is still fresh in our memory, the river's saga is there for records and the list of misconduct is endless. God Bless Nigeria.

A Boko Haram leader
accused of masterminding
the December 25, 2011
bombing of St. Theresa’s
Catholic Church in Madalla,
Niger State, Kabiru Sokoto,
on Monday admitted before
an Abuja Federal High Court
that he wrote and scored
four credits in the Senior
School Certificate
Examination.
A court interpreter had been
interpreting proceedings in
Sokoto’s ongoing trial over
two counts of terrorism. This
followed his claim that he
does not understand English
language.
However, the suspected
Boko Haram leader surprised
the courtroom when he
owned up to the
prosecution’s allegations that
he sat for and obtained four
credits in the SSCE.
Sokoto said he wrote the
examination in English
Language.
The accused person was
under cross examination by
prosecuting counsel, Mrs.
Chioma Onuegbu, after
testifying in his own defence
during the continuation of
his trial before the court
presided by Justice Adeniyi
Ademola.
The cross examination
suddenly became dramatic
when, at a point, Sokoto
engaged in arguments with
the interpreter over what he
perceived to be a wrong
interpretation of his
response to a question put
to him by the prosecutor.
Sokoto and the interpreter
argued in Hausa language.
Many in the courtroom,
including the judge, were
baffled by the development,
prompting the prosecutor to
say, “He (Sokoto)
understands my questions;
he has four credits in SSCE,
including English Language.”
Speaking through the
interpreter, after he was
asked whether the
information disclosed by the
prosecutor was true, Sokoto
said, “Yes, I have four credits
but not including English
Language.”
The trial will continue on
October 7, 2013, for
adoption of final written
addresses.

Good morning to everyone in the house and I say Happy Friday to you all.
Last week I asked certain questions which I expected true muslim scholars in the house to provide logical answer to. These answers did not come, maybe because they were asked under another thread.
These are the questions here:

What was the major purpose of Prophet
Mohammed's coming to this world?
What led to his death?
Did he know he was going to.die?
How did he die?
Did he truly say he doesnt know where he wud end up?
What happened btw Umar and Abu Bakir
after the death of Mohammed?
How did Alli died?
I want a good Islamic scholar to pls
provide answers to these.

The beauty of Islam is that we are not permitted to insult what other people worship. Unfortunately, muslims are not given that kind of courtesy by many non muslims.

Compared to quran burning incidents, this is a rarity because it is part of the islamic religion not to insult what other religions rever.

It also shows that muslims can punish their own when they cross the line with other faiths.

Diasporan: For those complaining about the Pidgin English version and also comparing it to the Koran they really need their heads examined.The original Bible was not written in English.Go to China and there is the version in mandarin same with France where it is written in French.For the koran which originally was written in Arabic now has the English version.I have a copy written in English.I used it for research.Bishop Ajayi Crowther first translated the Bible into Yoruba language,My Grand mother has the Igbo version.So why the criticism of my beloved pidgin Bible?You all complaining should emancipate yourselves from colonial slavery cause we all know the original Bible wasn't written in English.Btw Am proud to be a Warri boy and its a good news that my adopted father is part of this development

Btw, It gives me great concern when i hear or see pple comparing The Holy Bible to some other books like the qoran.
Let us set it straight, these are two directly opposite books. one is for peace while the other is for war and violence. one asked you to preach the gospel ofpeace to everyone, d other commads u to kill in d name of god.
