Thank you. |
let the man rest in peace. he has done enough. africa will be proud of him till eternity. |
we truly live in a crazy worlfld. |
That was great. but permit me to ask these few questions. What was the major purpose of Prophet Mohammed? What led to his death? Did he know he was going to.die? How did he die? Did he say he doesnt know where he wud end up? What happened btw Umar and Abu Bakir afrer the death of Mohammed? How did Alli died? I want a good Islamic scholar to pls provide answers to these |
There's nothing wrong with it. If you noticed one, then share it. |
Adek15: Go and do ur home work very wel. There's no place in d world where bible is nt allowed.. Infact there are christians in saudi than in d usaur mind shud tel u dat u just lied |
tbaba1234: ^ So you do admit that pastor terry and the other dolts who decide to burn the quran are christian extremists. |
Ishilove: Lol. D translation funny me too no be small. Em, but wait o,"Holy Bible: Pidgin version" go make serious sense o. E go allow the humble street trader and artisan undastand the bible wellaNow u get d logic. and dat is what it is originally made to be. |
Diasporan: For those complaining about the Pidgin English version and also comparing it to the Koran they really need their heads examined. The original Bible was not written in English.Go to China and there is the version in mandarin same with France where it is written in French. For the koran which originally was written in Arabic now has the English version.I have a copy written in English.I used it for research.Bishop Ajayi Crowther first translated the Bible into Yoruba language,My Grand mother has the Igbo version. So why the criticism of my beloved pidgin Bible? You all complaining should emancipate yourselves from colonial slavery cause we all know the original Bible wasn't written in English.Btw Am proud to be a Warri boy and its a good news that my adopted father is part of this developmentIt is the best thing that happens to Nigeria dis year. Btw, It gives me great concern when i hear or see pple comparing The Holy Bible to some other books like the qoran. Let us set it straight, these are two directly opposite books. one is for peace while the other is for war and violence. one asked you to preach the gospel ofpeace to everyone, d other commads u to kill in d name of god. if you ask me, i say one is Light to all Nations and other.... use ur tongue to count ur teeth. |
Richy.:most states in ND still do it. If u liv in lagos, den watch LTV in d evening or listen to Faaji Fm everyday for cool pidging programmes. i can tell u dat most families now prefer Faaji and Wazobia FM to dis "big oyinbo" radio stations. |
omokayode9258: is dr anythn reasnable to be proud of in dt our relign dt has turnd to theatre centr, abeg lets talk sense joo. M nt proud to be addresd in public as a christn at al, our leadrs ar usles nd self centrd. Take it or leav itif you are truly a christian and not a church-goer, then you will have everything to be proud of. Which leaders are you refering to? Look unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith. (Heb 12:2; Luke 9:62; Jude 1:21) |
Monzuur: Nothin we no go c 4 dis obodo nigeria......thank God no revised edition 4 quran......am a muslim & proudThe truth of life is this, the fact of life you do not know is a step ahead of you Believe it or not, The Holy Bible is the best thing that ever happened to mankind. The fact that you are ignorant of this is enough to make you sober. The beauty of this Holy Book is that unlike others, it could be translated and transmitted in any form to make it easy for anyone's usage (matthew 24:14). Coming to your claim, I ask, what do you really know about being a muslim? Is it the name or the fact that you visit the mosque on Fridays that makes you proud? Well I dont want to condemn any religion but if you had known better, you would have run for the salvation of your life. Jesus is waiting to recieve you. Now is the day of your salvation. |
she ok, but not as beautiful as mine. |
naffysa: May Allah Grant him Aljanat Fridaus (Amin)where is dat? |
gbanikiti: ...THE FEAR OF BUHARI......is d begining of security consciousness! |
caseless: dont mind that kangaroo of a poster! He thinks obliquely. I knw somethin like this happen in developed countries too...so wat's da 'goodnews ' about north d op used as his caption?u can now see what i meant. instead of us joining forces together to condemn evil, irrespective of where it is happening; u r here apportioning irrelevant blames to urselves. its hightime we outgrew dis uncivilize attitude. YOU ARE WELCOME! |

dayokanu: Point is that instead of rejoicing about bad things happening elsewhere maybe you should rid your own villages of these evil acts first, when issues such as dis are raised on dis forum, dey are meant to alert us of d calous activities happening in some parrs of our country. so it is expected we shud all unequivocally condemn such act, irrespective of where it emanates frm. And dis is not to say we r rejoicing over d calamity dat befalls d victims. |
dayokanu: I'm sure this can happen anywhere in the countryso wat point hav u just made here? d fact dat it cud happen anywhere is not enof reason to exonerate an inglorious son of illegitimacy. d rate at wich news of brutality is emanating frm Northern Nig dis days is worrisome. i hope d law will take its course. |
by d way, does dis man still exist? tot he's passed on. what a way 2 display falure! it also shows he has a failed mindset. i tink he shud just sharrap and bow his head in shame. |
like my friend would say, "end shall never wonder". to imagine dat some northern xtians 2 are part of BH sympathisers. i think its high time we began to be skeptical about d activities if these ACF and NEF. dey could be BH in disguise. |
Agbalanze: Buhari just lost my vote.. More from a tribalistic and a religious bigot than a national leader! Shame!!the man has never at anytime strike me as a true statesman. as for my vote...., give him a mic and let him convince me on why i, a christian from d south, shud cast it in his favour. |
to tink dat ds man wants to rule ds great country again... he makes no sense to me. |
i leave in badagry which is very close 2 d border. can u believe d Beninous dont patronize anytin made in nigeria cos dey believe it is fake? yet we flood our mkt wit anytin dat comes from dere. |
d only time i pray in english is wen i am praying wit some other pple who dont understand it, otherwise i prefer my dialet cos it is richer in communication. Btw, its a shame for any1 who can't speak his/her dialet to a reasonable degree. and least i forget, Eshinegba Omati. |
permit me to say dos were d last generation of gud music. unlike what we hav now. musicians dat can't even play d least musical instrument. SMH |
Sharp D: "Can som1 pls tell me wat is filthty lucre in "oyel pepper". dsame oil money dat has since become d fetter dat is binding dis unholy marriage called Nigeria. or is he crossed dat d contract was not awarded to their "sons", d boko boys? let any1 call me to order if i'm wrong. Take away d oil from ND today and dere will no longer be anytin to die for. den we will naturally fall apart. |
Ola Johnson: It is the tradition that the sons of Oduduwa i.e the kings, gather in Ile-Ife the Oba of Benin (Ado in Yoruba language) would be in a nearby town. He must not set his eye on Ile-Ife. That is where is head is buried when he dies. It is called Orun Oba Ado (the heaven of the Oba of Ado).did ur father tell u dis or u cooked it up? |
wild child: @topic..only if most of us can relate with history, the bini culture is one that should be highly promotedI stand to be corrected: No people in Nigeria are historically as rich as d Edos |
