oladeebo:Typical slave mentality |
DanseMacabre:Here they come again with their "big big grammar" just to discredit FFK without addressing the issue he raised. Did you listen to Mr Yankassai on Channels tv this morning? I guess you didn't. By implication, he means our elders in the Southwest, southeast and South south have no say in the affairs of this country. Even the middle-belters were not spared in his rage, (Perhaps because they still see them as "willing tools" . And yet we are fighting against Hate Speeches. To me that is a slap on the face of every Southerner and the middle belt that keeps supporting one Nigeria. - A one Nigeria where "some animals are more equal than the others". Enough of all these One Nigeria apologies. It is high time we arose and make our stand known. If you don't stand for Something, you are sure to fall for Nothing. |
Of course, we already know that. However, if I am to be in Bubu's shoes, I will quickly liase with the legislators on how to let this people go for the sake of peace. |
post111:The same way Nigeria refuses to grow up. |
Homeboiy:His parents were gruesomely murdered in Kaduna by these blood thirsty northerners. Now they want him to be part of them. |
MalcoImX:Corrections pls. Odion Ighalo and Victor Moses are both from Edo State, Southsouth Nigeria. Mikel Obi and Kelechi Ihienachor are Igbo's. |
"Nigeria's unity non negotiable" is an affirmation of Certified Parasites. |
RoyalUc:Preach that to yourself and those that love such sermons. I repeat, Nigeria is a zoo that must crash and blast into particles. Then and then those that survive it can carefully and wisely select those to be their allies. |
AzeezAbubakar1:Then you are my brother, so give me five. |
It only shows how much the Igbo man loves NK, a kiss your president can't even get from his own people because he has failed them as well. BTW, how has that affected you? Face front |
Ipobdevil:May your hypocrisy strike your stinking ass with that you moniker. |
What an emotional picture! Sometimes I feel like questioning God on why he created and sent me to this cursed country. Americans prayer is "God bless America" As for me, I pray Nnamdi KANU succeeds. May Nigeria fall in Jesus' name. |
AzeezAbubakar1:A Muslim saying "Amin"/to my prayer? I thought you all love and want the status quo to remain. |
vedaxcool:From the way you reason, I am almost certain that you too are a product of quota system. SMH |
This question is baseless. It only shows how naive and lily-livered even the so-called northern elites can be. Unity nor be by force Nigeria is a zoo. I am not a Biafran but a 24 carats Edolite. I love and respect Nnamdi KANU and despise the present government and everything it stands for. May the zoo crumble very soon, Amen. |
This question is baseless. It only shows how naive and lilly-liverd an average northerner can be. |
Dillusionist:And yet he is a Nation Builder. No Little wonder why the so-called Nation is a colossal failure. |
maclatunji:Much as I love and reaoect the Yorubas, it is the likes of you that make the Igbos call you names such as afonjas the cowards. BTW, leave Kanu alone and face your problems. Fulani herdsmen just entered and destroyed Chief Falae's farm, the third time in recent months and you are not bothered with that. |
It doesn't matter what you think, boy. Everyone don't necessarily have to like him. |
Fact remains that after all said and done, the North can never remain the same again. There is no telling of the fact that this foolish mistake made by the so-called northern youths has injected some senses into the Igbo man. If you hear any one among them still clamouring in favour of Nigeria, it is in a bid to buy more time so he could comfortably plan his relocation from some Godforsaken areas of this country. No amount of plea can avert the Holocaust effect it will have on their already south-proned IGRs. And after the economy in the north finally nose-dived, then you guys will head back to the medieval age that you belong. |

nwaanambra1:An Igbo man with Igbo spirit has just spoken. This is what NK has been talking about. Arise to fight and defend your own. |
AntiIPOB:It is your land, no doubt. The Igbo man doing his private business cannot be called a parasite because he is a major contributor to the viability of your economy. The Igbo man is there paying taxes and levies, yet most of your IGRs can't even maintain your Governor's personal needs. What will happen after he must have left? Your region is synonymous with violence, hence we always advise the Igbo man living among you to quickly take cover. When the chips are down, he should find a way to dispose all of his investments to the good ones among you. He can come and invest in the southeast, South south, Southwest or even the middle belt. If you have ever studied economics in your school and know its implcations on what your youths have put you into with those utterances, you will be seen in every forum begging for forgiveness. You better think twice. |
modsfucker:I didn't see the so-called "privileged information". Nobody looks down on anybody here, OK? Oil not the only thing we have going on. Why is it that each time SS people complained about national issues, your next line will be " it's because of the oil"? Without the oil we are still very good to go. Now look at; I am a 24 carat, full fledged Edolite. We don't talk much of oil here, yet we have one of the most viable states in Nigeria. Perhaps more economically viable than Kano. The IGRs speak volume. We are not there yet. I know if our potentials are fully unleashed, it can only be better. Borders dispute is as old as the creation. It will continue to come up. But among civilise peoples like us, that should not be a reason to go to war. With agriculture, we can all be great. Edo have enough rich land to feed the citizens of SS. Where there is deficiency, we can always source for it from the north. As for the peaceful north you envisaged, I doubt if that can ever be attained in the north. You know as well as I do that northerners are NOT peaceful people. |
AntiIPOB:You don't seem to get it. The Igbo man in the north is not working in any government parastata. He does his private business, pays taxes and levies to your state and local governments; something some northerners don't do. He doesn't depend on ur government to live, rather your government depends on him for IGR. If he leaves today, that will not translate into automatic employment for you; rather it will become a minus to your Internally Generated Revenue. The case is not like that here in the South. Northerners occupy most of the agencies: Custom, immigration, DPR, Weight and Measure, Nigeria army, police, air force, CBN, NNPC, etc. If the north leaves today, it becomes a big plus for the south as we are the sole contributors to the national treasury. Your departure will metamophorsis into more jobs, rapid growth and development, etc for us. No more quota system, no more Federal Allocation. Everything will be on meritorious ground. So tell me, would I still be an idiot for calling you a parasite? It even irk me more to know you are ungrateful. |
modsfucker:The west, east and south. One thing unites them: they are the bread winners. They serve as the Host on which others prey and parasite on. Now they are all fed up and need to take a lasting break. Should Nigeria disintegrate, you mean the middle belt will want to remain with the core north or they are going to be compelled to do so? Oh, so you can continue to have and use them as willing tools? This is no longer 1960s my brother. The Yorubas, igbos and the NDs may have their differences, but such differences are more of social media things. You hardly see them raise hands on each other in form of violence. With mutual respect and understanding, and with a constitution that truly represents their interest, they can thrive as a people both economically and socially. However, I must admit that a fully restructured Nigeria would be better for us all than outright disintegration. |
kindklemz:If truly the southeast is poor, then its because the quota system and national cake sharing style in the form of allocation which the north superimposed on Nigeria won't let them attain their full potentials. Should the regions in Nigeria be allowed to manage their resources and grow at their own pace, who says the north will be poor? The north may end up being the food providers for the whole county. In fact, there are lost of solid minerals up there that are waiting to be discovered. The different regions have comparative advantages over each other. We can then leverage on these differences and make the country great. But if the country cannot be restructured, then let those that want to leave do so in peace. |
GenBuhari:For the record, I am a black person- a nigerian. A 24carats Edolite. Now, back to the issue. It is not about whether I love or hate Igbos. In fact I do not hate the north like some people perceived. It is not about the Igbo, not about NK even though I must admit I love his guts and bravery. What should a united nigeria mean? For the word "unity" to be mentioned, it means different people with different background must have come together to form an alliance. The terms and conditions of this alliance must be well spelt out to accommodate fairness, equity, equality and justice to all parties. It means such Union MUST be profitable to all parties forming this alliance and in fact, synergy must be actualized. Where a party feels he is being shortchanged, such grudge must be urgently addressed and the party pacified. Once this fundamental condition is met, I tell you everyone will indeed be proud of such unity. So what can you truly say about these things as regards Nigeria? |
UfuomaUN:Borno is ten times the size of Southeast yet Southeast is one of those breastfeeding the whole northeast. What an irony! It's high time these people knew that a country is not considered relevant by its size but buy its viability. And in this case, its economic viability. |
modsfucker:The whole of South, my brother. The whole of South. BTW they are regions and not subregions. |
emeka2847:Contrarily, no one complained. All they asked for is that the quit notice be preceded with necessary and deliberate steps (eg referandum) needed to free them. Rhat Quit notice is only another way to perpetrate what they know how to do best – loot igbos properties. |
[Rquote author=Josephjnr post=59833064] Apart from stopping Nigerians parasitic feeding as you said from the South, which other significant change will actualization of Biafra bring? I think changing our minds first,is the likely solution to Nigeria's problem.[/quote] I think u should ask why Biafra is being denied of self determination. You see, in a country where inequalities and injustices are abound; you don't make a demand for trust and a change of minds from the victims. |
