Most countries in this world with resources are controlled by the west. For America's economy to be fueled, they need cheap resources or their economy will be destroyed. High gas means, more money for truckers, less money for each citizen to spend (due to high gas), less spending means worse more shops going out of business, less business means more unemployment, more unemployment means more crimes. It will trickle down, this is why America spends trillions on wars.

Instead of having these useless politicans that we have, why not we have philathropists become our leaders? We can have people who run NGOs or charity program be our leaders. Instead of them stealing the money, they will give it back to the people.

There are many NGOs of charity programs in Nigeria and those leaders can lead us. Instead of putting oil money in their swiss bank account, they can put it to good use for the people. We can overthrow the useless ones and make them give back their money. Then use the money for the philathropists to run office.

Is this a good idea?

There should be an occupy lagos or abuja. Until the politicians give back the money to the people.

I was watching "world have your say " on BBC this evening where they had 3 guests, 2 Libyans and a Kenyan or Ugandan. One of the Libyans was a Berber who hoped Moammar would rot in the hottest part of hell while the other, a female named Fadwa(i can recall that cos she was fine like hell ) wished him even worse. Once Nigeria's power situation is better, then Nigeria's economy will start to boom. Less money on diesel and generators means more money for jobs, other products, and investment. Nigeria can start the manufacturing sector back up. More money will trickle down to the poor so less crime.

Why are we trying to divide each other. This is going to cause more problems. We need to be helping each other make it through this world. We should compliment each other instead of compete with each other. His weakness are her strengths and vice versa. Yin to my yang.

It is an hour but it will get your mind open. Foreign aid is terrible for Africa. America knows it, they want to keep Africa enslaved. That money is OWED BACK. It isn't a free grant. It has many conditions to it as well. Instead of the politicians getting taxes, they use the aid for everything. That book Dead Aid tells you that aid is not working. It gives politicians reasons to not do their job. Instead of raising taxes they just use the aid that will be owed back. Many ountries are in debt to NAmerica because of it. That is how America gets a lot of it's money.

Gaddafi wanted a united states of Africa which would have their own bank and monetary fund. TO not keep African countries enslaved. Thomas Sankara said NO to foreign aid and he had a better economy than most African countries. He was a net exporter and they produced everything. Most African countries don't produce anything. Importing food is BAD. What if something goes wrong in the food being imported. African countries must produce everything on their own.

This is just one of many train systems that are coming to Nigeria.

Gaddafi did more for his people than any other African leader today.  Everyone in his country has a house, free healthcare, free education (even outside of Libya) and he rose the life expectancy of people by 30 years during his rule.  He tried to start the African Monetary Fund which is $70 billion of non interest loans.  This would be used to help fund infrastructure projects in Africa.  Instead of the parasite of an organization called the IMF.  He helped fund a satellite that would be used by Africans.  Europeans lost $500 million a year because of this. Gaddafi was a man of his people.  He was a pan-Africanist like Kwame Nkruhmah.  He put his resources to his people.  People recieved money from the oil wealth in Libya.

While our rulers(not leaders) steal all the money put them into foreign accounts to benefit foreigner's ecconomy.  How can money cycle within an economy if there are no money in banks? Our rulers don't fix roads, education, or hospitals so people die from things that can be fixed. 

Gaddafi died trying while our leaders are looting all of our wealth. Once we have no more oil (unless economy diversifies) we will have no money. 

Don't believe in the western media.  They try to say bad things about people who tryto help their people.  Like Castro, Chavez and Mugabe.  If the british choose to fund boko haram or MEND with billions then Nigeria can be just like this.

In Chiina they tend to kill abort more daughters than sons because they need male strength to do the farming in the rual areas. This is pretty bad and if this sort of thing happened in Nigeria then itwould be bad too. Do you think that Nigerians would abort sons or daughters more?

What is th difference between 1 man and 1 woman having 8 children than 1 man and 4 women having 8 children total (2 each)?

I would cut government wages and government in total. Politicians would make the GDP per capita of Nigeria ($1000 to $2000 depending on source). Once the standard of living for all Nigerians go up, then their salaries go up. Food and security are included as well. Also, politicians are not allowed to recieve any gifts while they are in the office.

I would not allow foreign aid because as Thomas Sankara said, "He who feeds you, controls you"

I would invest a lot of money into agriculture. The unemployed youth can become farmers. I would subsidize farmers to make sure that they are not losing money. (Did you know that 57% of American farmers would not make money if it wasn't for the government subsidies? I read that in an article) We import too much food, so I would turn Nigeria to a net-exporter. I would get great tractors and give them to farmers. Also hire the best farmers in the world to teach Nigerians to farm.

Invest in power because we cannot gain a manufacturing industry without power. I would focus on the industrial areas at first (so people gain employment, IGR, GDP, and forex) then I would go to residential once more money comes.

Invest in roads aand hospitals because the bad roads and hospitals kill too many people each year. I would also fix the sewage system of Nigeria. Free healthcare to pregnant women and children under the age of 5 for every resident.

I would give grants to companies that exports goods. This money will be used to build more factories. This would include refineries to make finished goods. I would make sure the money from theresources go to the people.

I would put higher tarriffs on products that are already made in Nigeria so people support the domestic market.

I would make sure that scientists, doctors, nurses, and engineers go touniversity for free. Those people are very important for an economy.

What would you do?

When I was agnostic/athhiest, people would tell me to go to church and would give me bibles. People would call me a demon or say bad things becaus I wasn't Christian. Now, I follow Chukwu.

The western media loves portraying people badly.  It is all propaganda.  THey portray Mugabe, Castro, Chavez, etc all baf.  Did you know that Martin Luther King was the most dangerous man in America when he was alive?  He was a peaceful man and he was dangerous?

America needs to get rich and this is their way of cheap resources. If their resource s are high then their economy is destroyed.

This has happened many times before. Look at Burkina Faso. Why did a young man in his 30s die when he was helping his people. Then a dictator came in who destroyed the country and put them in crazy debt. He has been in power for like 24 years. Is that a coincidence? Look how Salvador Allende died and then Pinochet destroyed Chile. Lumumba dies and Mobuto destroys Congo.

African countries need to unite and nationalize all resources. But this will be a big war. Look at the Congo, the war makes me so sad just for resources and who is benefiting?

Why doesn't Nigeria sell it's oil for technology instead of money? All of the money goes to Swiss bank accounts anyway. It is just a waste. The oil should be traded for refineries, hospitals, schools, industrial parks, factories, enviromental clean up, power stations, internet access, agriculture technology, satellites, etc. This will create more jobs and actually help the people. This will increase the IGR, Forex, reduce crime, and employment. This will make Nigeria more rich and benefit the people.

Nigeria has the "Dutch Disease" that is why we are trying to diversy now. But we import almost everything. We need to start manufacturing once our power gets good. Tourism, agriculture, and manufacturing are our future. We also need to invest in Sports.

With more investing in that comes more jobs and less crime. Those kidnappers need to stop because it will drive away tourism.
