agbotaen: 1. i have started a project called five hundred ika names and it is in a book for , right now i have about 500 ika names , so that our people will stop giving their children igbo names that dont tally with ika language and culture and i have started by naming my children with proper ika names , and i think it is funny for ika people to be called chinenye, anwili, chizoba and other names like odinakachukwu ,but to give appropriate names that match and protect our cultural and ethnic identity.

Yorubas are definitely one of the daftest set of people in Nigeria

- if your name is ibrahim, musa, moHAMMED they automatically label you aboki. They forget that half og Yorubas are actually abokis with arabic name too

- if your name is neither arabic nor olu-something then you are automatically igbo. So if your name is nosa, rukevwe, elohor, priye, edet etc it is all igbo to Yorubas cos dem no sabi nigeria ethnic make up...

A quick reminder to your humble self is the fact that Ojukwu himself contested and lost twice in his home state. First he contested and lost in the 80's and contested and lost to Obj( a Yoruba man) in presidential elections. I'll have to agree with some of your position on party alliance and chances of winning election in Nigeria but to allude it to the prowess of Ojukwu is what I find laughable cos, most true sons of south east are not the average ones on nairaland. Most contributors here are doing so from a safe location across the Atlantic and have lost touch with the reality on ground.
