What do you mean by 'romance'? What exactly does she allow you to do? Penetration is easy to understand but romance has several layers. Giving you a kiss every now and then is not romance. If she is as religious as you portray, then proper romance should be off-bounds because it directly leads to what she has said she doesn't want. The essence of religious abstinence is sexual deprivation and since you say that you satisfy all her wants if sought, then I don't think her reasons are as ironclad as they look.
