rapthugx:

I think you are wrong here, the manager when Afam started the nwa boi was Nonso
hmmm, maybe but Paulo already knows the drill before afam, so he is the senior hence should be settled first
TV/Movies / Re: Movie Review: Áfáméfúná - An Nwa-boi Story. by IgweBUIKE1(m): 1:21pm On Apr 08
bukatyne:

Not true.

Do you think Afam would have become a Paul if same thing happened to him?
more than that, that's injustice, Paulo wasn't a bad apprentice either just that afam was more dutiful and beside Paulo was already a manager before afam even dreamt of becoming a boy

u don't know all stories so u can't be sure it hasn't occur
okay maybe I don't know the nollywood stories
TV/Movies / Re: Movie Review: Áfáméfúná - An Nwa-boi Story. by IgweBUIKE1(m): 3:06pm On Apr 06
OGHENAOGIE:
u can't be so sure
am very very very sure,,, it is not nollywood, is either you are sacked or you are given a peanut for settlement but wither way, a junior cannot be settled before the senior
TV/Movies / Re: Movie Review: Áfáméfúná - An Nwa-boi Story. by IgweBUIKE1(m): 10:03am On Apr 06
OGHENAOGIE:
That's why its a film but u can't really say it's not happening
it is not happening
TV/Movies / Re: Movie Review: Áfáméfúná - An Nwa-boi Story. by IgweBUIKE1(m): 1:15pm On Apr 05
OGHENAOGIE:
well that's the downside of nwa boi system no forma agreement sometimes which is why som ogas dont settle their boys... The oga did well to settle afam since no express written rules says otherwise...
you don't get, the story is unrealistic, cos in the nwaboi system, there is no way the manager will be there and the last junior will be settled before him, is either he is been sacked if he is not behaving well or he is been settled with a small amount that's is barely okay for him to start up
TV/Movies / Re: Movie Review: Áfáméfúná - An Nwa-boi Story. by IgweBUIKE1(m): 11:01am On Apr 05
OGHENAOGIE:
you didn't see how afam aided his oga to ensure his goods came out... So I don't see what's wrong there..
lol,, it doesn't work That way, is either they are both settled at the same time or Paulo is settled first
TV/Movies / Re: Movie Review: Áfáméfúná - An Nwa-boi Story. by IgweBUIKE1(m): 10:53am On Apr 05
naijaseeker:

You are wrong. Oga can chose who to settle and how. And consider the Oga is also making a business decision as the nwa boi settled will invariable affect the oga's business also. They will be in a friendly partnership remeber, the oga needs someone to extend his business also.
if you are ibo you will not tell me it is wrong, I know how the nwaboi and oga system works, it can never be a new nwaboi before the manager, oga can decide not to settle him at all, either by laying allegation of stealing on him or otherwise, mind you there is always an agreement before the commencement of the serving,so I know what am saying except you have a living testimony you can point me to it, oga can only show his resentment about the said nwaboi by either not settling him at all or giving him a small amount
TV/Movies / Re: Movie Review: Áfáméfúná - An Nwa-boi Story. by IgweBUIKE1(m): 9:44am On Apr 03
I will give the movie a 5/10 rating, cos the story of nwa Boi is not realistic, odogwu settling Afam before Paulo was the deal beaker for me,,, it was suppose to be Paulo before afam, then let's say Paulo squander his money and later went back to afam, then blackmailing afam about how oga settled him well enough for him to still be doing well
TV/Movies / Re: Movie Review: Áfáméfúná - An Nwa-boi Story. by IgweBUIKE1(m): 9:32am On Apr 03
DenreleDave:

Oh. That's how it's done right?
yes, that's how it is done, cos there's always an agreement about time frame of serving
TV/Movies / Re: Movie Review: Áfáméfúná - An Nwa-boi Story. by IgweBUIKE1(m): 7:28am On Apr 03
DenreleDave:
I also felt Amaka betrayed afemefuna... She knows the kid isn't his but kept quiet...

Why do igbos allow paternality fraud?.
What if Paulo didn't die, is that how he would have been blackmailing afemefuna till eternity?

I called on the mods to push this thread to front page and they did...

To all nairaland moderators, as you have honored me, so shall you be honored in double folds grin grin grin grin

You are wrong... Odogwu knows Paulo is stealing from him and fuvking his daughter too... There was no way he would have bestow that honor on him

Afemefuna remained loyal. He even added extra money to the original sales
but odogwu was suppose to settle Paulo before afam, whether he is stealing or not, it is the amount given to him at settlement that will now send a message to Paulo, if he is a faithful servant or not, odogwu was to be blamed for how Paulo turn out

Davido says he gives to motherless babies homes and I hold him to his words. He doesn't need motherless babies to chase clout. He has enough clout from family background and his massive success as a musician. He is known worldwide. Besides, with him there are many things to catch 'much better clout' with than motherless babies.

For your information, I don't do this stan nonsense.
lol and none of the motherless homes have come out to thank him,,, except he gave a stern warning that he doesn't want the publicity, which is impossible for someone that love clout like David

That lady is super dumb.

Somebody's sweat money from legit hustles

VS

Someone who gets underserved massive monthly payout from public coffers as Senator.
some of you are the dumb one here, nobody ask David for give away until he decided to make it a clout chasing thing and since then it has become every Tom business... If you can't help the people don't mock them either, cos audio give away is as good as mocking those that sell their thinking cap for stans hip
