we all know some ppl say no to make it look like they dint fall cheaply,
but then we all know that its plain foolish and basically childish to go on saying no when its a yes u want.
just end the whole issue by saying yes and let everyone be gone.
Regardless, people will always have negative views, it's up to one, to fall or stand.

LOL of course i know Fox can't act.  I'm not big on actresses, so it's like my eye is trained to see their acting flaws easily grin Lucky you - only 6 to 9 grin I was 1-3am grin grin I was a bloody zombie the next day at work grin cheesy

Hmm i don't know which i prefer, currently they are on the same page.  Maybe i will watch both to see.  My bro prefers the first one though, he was like that had good story and though he liked this second one, he wasn't tripping over himself for the movie.  I was shocked since he likes Eddie Murphy's senseless movies grin

Hah' i thought they were gon' get married or something.  I think she just wanted to look nice for his going away.  Sort of sweet like, not the grease monkey she was supposed to be (BTW, i didn't see the grease monkey thing.  .  .was way too clean)

Yeah that fight scene was awesome.  I loved the bumblebee fight scene too, especially when he peeled the metal off the skeleton cheesy

HP Fan? I'm not much of a fan but i watch them.  I however am a big fan of Gary Oldman and Ralph Fiennes.  I adore them.

Romance › Re: Malromance: When Your Guy Totally Dominates You by iice(f): 9:48am On Jul 03, 2009
curious121:
As much as the act of rape is wrong and many girls go on about how they hate a man who is 'too possessive' and 'too dominant', I have a friend who confessed that in terms of her relationship with her man, she enjoys it when he sometimes maltreats her when it comes to love making and it is also a turn on when her guy is over posessive and overly jealous, no moderation whatsoever, she even enjoys is when they argue, is this just a one off or do a lot of girls behave like this when it comes to relationships? Your views are appreciated, thanks.
I see it more as a psychological problem especially when they need to be maltreated to enjoy sex. Though i don't think a lot of girls like this, however it's not as rare as we would believe (existence).
As for overly possessive and jealous, i suppose some people see it as a sign of love/affection. That to drive someone to that stage means the person must care alot about you undecided
TV/Movies › Re: The Movie Club by iice(f): 9:38am On Jul 03, 2009
Best movie of the year so far. Yes i have not yet seen star trek, but like the first one, Revenge of the fallen delivered what it promised to - popcorn friggin flick, great action scenes, comedy and bigger than life robots grin I give cred to Michael Bay for pulling it off, twice now. I feared the summer time would be gone forever.
After a period of serious movies. . .i always look forward to the summer for feel-good, out-of-this-world, action flicks that sometimes are senseless cheesy
Nevermind, that Fox cannot act - she served a purpose (for guys), or that the movie focused more on action/special effects than on story line. . .it was awesome!
I give it 87% for giving me the high i have been missing from movies cheesy

JK, for you to notice the time, means you didn't thoroughly enjoy it. I didn't notice it was long, even if i almost fell sick trying to watch this movie grin I think Sam already knew what to do, or rather he hoped that what he wanted to do will work. It probably would have worked without the Primes telling him because in movies, good things happen to good guys with lots of hope grin

Properties › Re: Any Architects In The House? by iice(f): 9:30am On Jul 03, 2009
Yeah, i think most people substitute engineers and constructors with architects.

I'm not one, though i have interest in it. A family friend is one. He was responsible for Main Market in Jos, like in the 80s i think.
Business › Re: Frustrations Of A Business Owner In Nigeria by iice(f): 9:25am On Jul 03, 2009
AjanleKoko:
Most of these frustrations exist elsewhere. I think Nigeria is fertile ground for good business, since exposure is very thing on the ground, and little or no regulation exists.
The issue with Nigerian business is the lack of co-operation. Look at Asians in the UK for example. Nigerians should also endeavour to team up and work together. Everybody is always trying to eucher the next person, because that's the level of sophistication that we have just now.
A good example of how good business can be done is the music and entertainment industry in Nigeria. I mean, look at the Mo Hits guys, Don Jazzy, Wande Coal, D'Banj, etc. A brilliant combination of local/foreign money, local talent, and the know-how of how things are done elsewhere, creating solid products.
In a typical Naija approach, Don Jazzy would only want to release albums for his pallies and girlfriends, regardless of whether the stuff sells or not. He would now be constrained to whatever they can sing, and that is what filters out to the general public.
Now these artists are doing collabos, etc, supporting each other. Or did you guys think Sean Paul and Rihanna are best of pals? Not necessarily. The producers of both acts would typically recognise that these are the guys people want to listen to, and bring them together. More money for everybody. Bring in sharp lawyers to draw up solid contracts. End of story.

We have to learn how to collaborate without trying to swindle each other (most times crudely).
So true.
