The beginning of the movie already gives you a feeling of disappointment.
Are you freaking kidding me?? 5mins of the map of Cuba and Bolivia with dancing colors and music.  No narration, no information imparted.  You'll have no idea what the heck is going on.
For the first half of the movie, there is no symmetry to the dates. You forget what date and what happened almost immediately.
The movie assumes the viewers already know something about Che and the Cuban revolution, if you don't you will be lost for the most part of the movie.  You only start to understand the process of the revolution towards the end of the movie.  There is nothing much to learn from the movie about Che, his passion for the revolution, why he is respected or loathed, or if you should hate or love him.  I do hand it to Soderbergh, i think the movie is well shot, with beautiful scenery etc.  But he didn't make use of the intensity Benecio Del Toro has as an actor.  The fire that always seems to either simmer beneath or burn brightly in Benecio is almost absent in this movie

I'll still go watch the Second part, just to finish the movie, but i doubt it will be better than the first part [/color]

[color=#cc0066]If we are not talking, I still would, I am not someone who holds any grudge and I believe a Birthday is a way of celebrating that person being alive today and I don't wish anybody dead. I am happy they are alive, even the ones that hurt me, I am happier with them alive than dead (though they don't really contribute to my life eitherway). It just would be weird if they were dead.

Am very good friends with my ex's. We still hang out, if they have problems they call me. But once the friendship is done, the person ceases to exist. The time spent 'wondering' if he's fine or 'what will he say if i contact him?' or whatever - is best spent for me doing other things. The person should please move on and stop bothering the other.
