FYI, Bakana is NOT a Local Government Area, it is just a community. Pls get some proper education! Kenule Psaro Wiwa is a Niger Deltan from Ogoni, pls try and quote any of my comments where I claimed he was Ijaw to prove your sanity. |

I'd rather leave you in the hands of EDUCATED IGBOS to cure some of your stupity. President Goodkuck Ebelemi Jonathan the Great, Unrivalled Challenges, Unrivalled Perfomance. Unrivallled Oppositions, Unrivalled Victories. #TeamFreshAir till 2019 and beyond! |
Ngodigha: Stinking monkey, Ijaw girl who is from Bonny says that their people has Ijaw and Igbo blood in them and you all the way from Delta state says no.How foolish could you ever get? Do you know how foolish you sound to say soneone is having TWO DIFFERENT BLOOD? I just mentioned the tribes who contributed heavily to Igbo formation, thru' DIRCECT FOREIGN NON-IGBO ANCESTORS, & MASS MIGRATION OF FOREIGN ELEMENTS. Most of them started as Non-Igbo communities, Yet nobody calls Igboland mixed! Opobo & Bonny that have been existing for centuries before the slave trade era as purely Ijaw areas is what you want to describe as mixed. How foolish! But your foolishness is leading you to conclude here that Bonny & Opobo who acculturated FEW PERSONS (slaves according to Igbos) as SONS & DAUGHTERS of the respective Ijaw families to be MIXED. And you expect me to fall for your cheap plot to present these towns as PARTIALLY IGBO just because it feeds your delusion & greed to annex & colonize that part of Ijawland into becoming Igbos in the near future just like you did to Ndoki, Oru-Igbo, Ikwerre, Ogba, Ekpeye, Ndoni, Ndokwa, Ika etc. This is the 21th century & that plot would not work in Ijawland. We Ijaws would always burst the Igbo foolishness, whatever the form it presents itself. |
Ngodigha: Monkey, shut up. Opobo and Bonny has Igbo and Ijaw groups in those communities. Stop teaching people falsehood, fool.Hey Donkey! Opobo & Bonny have no "Igbo groups", they are all Ijaw people. These are the lies you keep telling since time immemorial but up till this moment you haven't shown us the "Igbo groups" or where to find them in these towns mentioned. Over delusions dey worry you! |
![]() yep! the Ibani Ijaws in rivers state but I cant deny the presence and influence of igbos @ opobo n Bonny. You should know that there are more Ijaws influences on Igbos & more Ijaws acculturated as Igbos within the bothers of the present Igboland, as a matter of fact, Igbos are made up of CONTRIBUTIONS from their neighbouring ethnic groups; Ibibio, Efik, Edo, Ijaw, Igala, Idoma, and there is even a yoruboid community with the Igbos of Delta state. Opobo & Bonny are PURE IJAW communities & not a mixture. TAKE NOTE! |
The deal has already been struck with the American government. No parasite will ever occupy Aso Rock until this country splits. #OperationFumigateAllTheParasites Patua: opayshan fumigiate all la dem puawasit! #TeamFreshAir Forever, Fresh Air blowing from the Atlantic No more Hammathan from the North |
chukwudi44: Mumu GEJ is backed by majority of nigerians especially christians from the SS/SE/MB regions of the country against terrorists especially muslims from the NE/NW/SW part of the country who feel it is their birthright top rule and dictate events for thhe country otherwise they will unleash their muderous gangs to be throwing boms everywhere.GBAM!!! SHOUT IT OUT LOUD FOR THOSE THAT DIDN'T GET IT THE FIRST TIME. |
@ OP Why are you tryinging to confuse yourself? People are not clamouring for different things, it all one and the same no matter the name you call it. What these regions are clamouring is for the country to be restructured to accomodate the yearnings and aspiration of its constituent ethnic groups where each controls their resources, initiate & execute their own developement in all spheres (roads, education, agriculture, health etc) and contribute a certain percentage of their resources to the Central govt. (FG) to focus on things like natioanl economy, national security, military, foreign relations, regulating agencies etc, basically things that foster national unity & makes the center unattractive. Some may argue that we can't create states for 250 ethnic groups in the country but this figure is very false, there are no 250 ethnic groups in this country, I know for sure that the entire Southern Nigeria has about 10 ethnic groups, does it mean that the North contains the other 240? Think people, think!!! |
Let go back to 3 regions please no president. Just premiers.
What nonsense!!! |
alaoeri: Tinubu has being clamoring for SNC since 2007, na now GEJ eye come open simply because he don see the hand writing on the wall that 2015 is no go area.Una don start again o!!! |
Ijaw families have been dominating this competition right since day one. This is the fourth or fifth time the Ijaws are winning it. Ijaw natiion is truely blessed, others are definitely blessed too. No ethnic jingoism intended! |
@OP I rejoice with my Akwa Ibom neighbours and brothers as you celebrate these massive achievements. Pls I need some clarification on why the Igbos are scheming of how they're gonna drag you back to Eastern Region thru' their Biafra project. Pls do you share this dream of forming a nation with Igbos rather than uniting with your Cross Rivers brothers to form a nation in the event of Nigeria's disintegration? I don't mean to sound naive, it is just a matter of speculating and permutating. Just wanna know if you'd share such aspirations with Igbos has they've flooded Nairaland and the entire internet with such claims. |
DaLover: It's not just waging war on GEJ because he is from the oil rich ND that feeds them.Exactly! |
adeabi: Egbesu, have you suspected Boko haram among muslims living in your community?.if NO, you have no right to send them away but if YES then they deserve it.hmmmn.Any attempt to send them away innocently may lead to seperation of Nigeria as it was told before.Anything that will lead to the break up of the dungeon called Nigeria is okay by me. #TeamNigerDeltaRepublic |
Radoillo: Correct me if I'm wrong, butOGINA is the supreme God in Ijaw religion, she is female. SO/SUO in Ijaw is not sky but HEAVEN. We Ijaws see ourselves as children of our mother Ogina, the supreme God, creator & God of the heavens (So/Suo) OGISO has its origin in Ijaw that is why the earliest Ogisos bear Ijaw names, they don't have Bini names. We Ijaws have always seen ourselves as sacred beings (not superior beings) and being direct offsprings the Almighty God who is a woman (female) in Ijaw spiritual culture. Hence even the name we call the christian (masculine) God is feminine: Tamara/Tamuno is actually a contraction of TEME ARA (ERE) meaning 'SHE WHO CREATED US" Because of the spiritual nature of our envirinment & every aspect of our culture, our ancestral name is ORU which means 1) gods 2) ancient & sacred, as a mattter of fact it is a fusion of both being gods, sacred & ancient people. You should know that even before Ijaw people became educated, anthropologist has studied & concluded that Ijaws are indeed the most ancient people in S/Nigeria and one of the most ancient in W/Africa. Before the time of Yoruba migration to Yoruba land and the formation of the Bini kingdom, Ijaws have been existing in the Niger Delta. Ijaws history is awashed with tales of certain Ijaws migrating from BENIN AREA, that was basically the coming of the more stronger-land based Bini people, and they seized control of the Ogiso traditional rulership of the area. |
DerideGull: You can have your capital in Calabar or Yenagoa but Port Harcourt (Igwe Ocha) is none negotiable as it will become integral part of Republic of Igbo land. The Ikwerre and Okrika-Ijaw natives of Port Harcourt never called the town Igwe Ocha, I don't know what this Igbo expansionists are up to! |
Kamanda: On One Great Biafra (SE plus SS) I stand.Listen my friend! You better start thinking of how to develope your SE, SS (minus Igboid people) got nothing to do with you. So keeping dreaming until you wake up to the reality of Igbo republic of Biafra. |
EdesonNews: congrats to them. they deserve it. ikwerre mekaThey are not Ikwerre, they are Ijaws. |
Litmus: YeahHey Oil Parasite! You can't fool us with your IDEALISTIC PACIFIST'S desposition. Nigeria aka Republic of WaZoBia is a tyrannical state governed by greed & Tyranny. Take your ideal rubbish to the trash can, nonsense! |
Abagworo: What is so difficult in making States autonomous today? What you wrote above is what majority of Nigerians have been clamoring for and Jonathan + PDP have kept deaf ears. Amaechi has been at the fore front of autonomy for States and so have been some other political parties. Infact most of the so-called Amaechi faction belong to the PDP that want what most Nigerians want and that is true federalism.Abagworo pls don't come to twist my comment & opinion with your demented pattern of reasoning. Everyone in the country knows that the confrontation & attacks on Jonathan from Amaechi has nothing to do with resource control as you wanna make people to believe. Jonathan and Amaechi may have their differences on certain issues, but as Niger Deltans they are united in a common voice for resource control. Since you've choosen to be ever ignorant, acrimonious, hateful, partial and mischievious, I guess you're member of #TeamKemiOmololu-Olunyolo. |
sylve11: even wit resource control, the prb wont be solve. With resource control the problem would be easier to solve as all focus will be on the states to deliver (restructured states, not the current state configuration). At the moment, any confrontation against the federal govt. from any section is blown out of proportion to mean a confrontation against all Nigerians. With such a situation, noboby can fight the federal govt. which is perpetuating this injustice on minority ethnic groups because they've got the backing of the Parasitic majority. Again all agitations can not fight the various organs & levels from which it is perpetuated eg oil companies, federal govt, state govt, local govt, NNPc etc. What exists is a circular blame game, where the people would blame the govt, the local govt would blame the state govt, the state would blame the federal govt, the federal govt would blame it back on the people and the circle starts all over again. So you see, state restructuring, true federalism and resource control is the answer. Because the entire focus would be on the state govt which is assumed to consist of people from the same/related ethnic groups to reduce tension and conflicts. WaZoBia people would never allow this because of greed & free oil money which will soon lead to the destruction of the country. |
