@ Psalm23

I will reply here because i think i am safe, No other guy around to see me sissy up  grin

Your name is apt.

I couldnt really control it, I am in the office and I am tearing up sooo furiously a male colleague came by, saw my tears and just jejeje walked away. I dont do sissy you see, i dont know what I'll tell him when he comes back to ask if i am better.

I admire you. I am in awe of you, and your husband? I cannot even worship on the ground that man walks.

I just want to pray for all 5 of you: My best psalm is 51 but 23 will do for now. The lord is your strength.

Trust me i have an idea what your Husband is going thru, but I could never imagine what you are,

Please never keep quiet, shout from the roof tops what God is doing in your life, you made me cry, at work, imagine what other Women who want to be you will be moved to do.

Gods strength.

May i suggest 'Gods promise' as one of the triplets names? Please, in Yoruba (which is my tongue) it is 'AdeunOluwa' (excuse the spelling, if you promise to choose it I will promise to find the correct spelling - Deal?),

home girl, as a guy myself,

only two reasons i will treat a girl like this:

1. i am taking her for no good
2. i am no good

, neither being a good reason for the girl to keep keeping me. Mugu starts with the letter U.

What girls fail to learn is that the way a guy treats you at the beginning is the BEST way he is ever going to treat you.

Properties / Re: Can 15 Million Naira Finish A Block Of 8 Flats? by ijogbon(m): 12:38pm On Jan 06, 2011
i want to know the replies on this thread but personally i think about 50 million. approx. 5 million per stage for building i.e 5 million per floor plus another 5 million for foundation and roofing together = 25million. then approx 20million for finishing. 5 million for papers approvals and incidentals.

you are looking at about 400 bags of cement, 5000 blocks, 10 tons of iron rods, 5 trips of sand, 5 trips granite etc per floor.

my approx may be wrong though, and you didnt say 'where' the building is going to be done,

@aktopgun

I just took a second look now and  THEY BOTH DID MORNING STARS !!!! UBA's was the more bullish with supporting net bid volumes and a very bullish longgggg legged doji (looking good) infact the bulls seem to have pulled with all their strength after taking control from the beginning with the 'gap up'. Tommorow should be sweet (e be like say Nairalanders don dey affect this NSE small small,,,,UBA recommendation last week and them bomb am!!!!)

NEM as I guessed did a morning star doji after testing the 'resistance turned support' and bouncing off but still with a bearish candlestick,,,,I believe it is still going to be a while before NEM will be a buy O!
Investment / Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by ijogbon(m): 6:40pm On Mar 25, 2008
In support of aktopguns post to the engineer above, I will also like to add that the basic foundation of all investing should be 'MONEY MANAGEMENT' . Enough attention is not paid to the simple I want to make better than I would make if my money was in a savings account/ in property/ or more than the inflation rate etc.

@aktopgun

Your frustration about being censored over the holidays is shared. I tried three times to post my well edited NEM and UBA charts (all three times without waiting to see it posted before deleting it from my computer - Yeah, 3 times; I'm that dumb!!!) only for it to bounce all three times       I almost ran bonkers.

Did you see the UBA pattern yet or is it NEM I remembered one of them doing a kinda Morning doji star reversal but with a bearish candlestick for today?

@ijogbon et omoba

ijogbon o!!!

u are spot on sir including about volume not supporting the pattern as needed. dumpling top it is but the last candle is almost a positive candle as it is almost a shooting star(the tail would need to be twice the length of the body for it to be fully a shooting star) after a downtrend, meaning that although the stock opened higher than its close (hence the red candle), the long upward shadow suggests renewing interest in the stock because fellas want to buy at a good price. in a dumpling top , this would suggest a failing of the pattern even after the gap down. i expect some improvement in the coming days for UBA based on this.

aktopgun

I have taken a couple of looks at the sticks for UBA again and I do agree that the recent sticks have shown that the bears have refused to take advantage and take further control of the market. I suspect that the next few sticks are going to trend 'sideways' for a while probably testing or trying to breach the new former support which might have turned a new resistance. i wonder that the price will inch up too much seeing the lack of buyers in the market still.

Could you explain what is actually happenig to UBA and Oceanic free fall of late.

I can't figure out why?

Thanks.

@aktopgun

What say you about UBA? I remember you having a dialogue a few posts back about a 'frying pan bottom'? I think UBA is exhibiting the direct opposite of the frying pan i.e the dumpling top reversal.

@aktopgun

It is funny to note that I had my eye on Mobil for reasons other than T.A but the Bump and run reversal pattern is indeed evident with the approach starting in mid-february (with the green marubozu bouncing off the 180 support) the bump with the bullish engulfing pattern over the gravestone doji and the run around the shooting star early March.

It is interesting also to take the supporting volume movements at the respective points into cognisance.

However, thank you for pointing it out to me. I think I see the opportunity I have been waiting on (with the run coming near to the bottom of the priceband although the support is at 180, RSI trending in the oversold region and selling volumes becoming scarce).

@ aktopgun and andico34

I saw the interesting ongoing discussion on Mbenefit and I wanted to add my =N=2 grin.

From a chart perspective and a medium term point of view which I believe is 6 to12 months, I would wait to see the direction of the stock of most insurance stocks within the next 1 to 2 months. I agree with someone who posted earlier that the insurance sector is a minefield. I believe you would have to able a good CICOer and/or candle analyzer not to get burned now, not to mention have an agbero broker.

To me trying to time the bottom of the correction that price is undergoing now after the period of accelarated growth is very risky especially if you are a medium to long termer. I would rather wait for price to consolidate and when interest dies then look for some indication to enter. There is a chart pattern I once read about but I can't remember the name and Mbenefit and a couple of other insurance stocks shows the typical model. The red trendline showing a nice rise in price and then followed by a very steep rise in price with another trendline shown in blue. When the blue trendline got broken by price it was the 1st signal to get out. Price hesisted at the red where there usually is a rally but this too got broken. I would expect now, if not a continuing decline in price, then some kind of consolidation so I'd give the stock some time to breathe and observe. This is just to make sure I enter at the best possible price region. Anyway this is my own take.

PS. aktopgun, easimoni, roughcut and all, if you remember this chart pattern I would like to know the name. The site I use for technical analysis, Decision point (www.decisionpoint.com/tacourse/tacoursemenu.html), only talks about accelerated growth and I can't find the name of this chart pattern anywhere.

Cheers and Happy Easter.

@pumice

I think what you are describing would be near to a bump and run reversal. Although I believe you need a tested resistance for the pattern to be complete. I could be wrong though.

The endorphin inducing characteristics of your visual revelations compare only in a minuscule capacity to the rancous manifestation of metabolic exhalation they induce. The prognosis is that when taken in generous quantities as prescribed by a household brand of polyunsaturated fatty metamorphosis the paliative characteristic over a recent and sudden optical observation of rose pigmentation induced by the assault of a honey addicted member of the animal kingdom in the market of arroganism is profoundly obvious.

ehm ehm. Bye bye.

It is a tasking journey getting there where 'no man' has gone, but if I just keep putting one feet in front of the other my journey gets shorter and shorter.

Thanks for the cheer.

Seriously, I believe greentree feels aggreived about something very profoundly and feels there is a gang up against him hence the point of view he holds.

I will be the first to be non-partisan about it and say SORRY GREENTREE.

I will also say YOU ARE WRONG GREENTREE about the way you chose to pursue the issues.

@everybody else.

There is a good reason Baba God put our eye in front of our heads.

I will believe that it was so we always look towards the 'future' and not make the same mistakes as the ones made in the past.

It is also said that if you do not stand for something you will fall for anything. That is why I would like to address this issue following.

Everybody believes he/she is right and therefore follows their convictions with dedication hence the altercations on this thread the last few days/weeks. But because our eyes are in front of us we will face our front and forget whatever has transpired the last few weeks - yes that includes you Greentree. Just forget and face front EVERYBODY please!!!!!!

In contrast to some school of thought here, I have not come here to this forum to learn how to make money or to hear how much money others are making. I can do that on my own very well Thank you.

I have come here in search of KNOWLEDGE. That is why I will respect the views of those who posess and share knowledge.

In case you missed out on the headlines knowledge is the new MONEY of this age and anybody who posesses knowledge posessess more than money. Ergo- knowledge is not universal but 'personal'. Who can say i know more than the other? So when people show what they know, rather than contest their knowledge it will be wiser to pick what is useful to you and leave him/her the rest.

As it is said 'Verbum sapienti satis est' A word to the wise is enough - lest we tear down with our own hands what we have built.
