Its not about what they preach, because whether they preach it or not, God commands it in His Word - Mal.3:10-12; meaning we as believers should do. If u try to bring up any opposition to tithing, means u aren't doing the Word. Check out also: Luke 6:38, 2Cor.9:6-10.

When you are tithing, you are contributing to the expansion of the work of God on the earth - which is basically that all men should be reconciled to Him. To that money would be needed.

Many unbelievers & those church goers (claiming to be christians) are just looking for opportunities to pull down great & popular men of God who are rightly dividing the word of Truth everywhere. This seems also like an opportunity for the devil to slow the spread of the Gospel, of which he has failed & will continue to do so.

Many people don't know that though marriage was divinely instituted by God, its operation is over 75% physical; hence, a man can be successful in his calling - spiritual, career, etc & @ the home front, he might be as good.

It doesn't negate the fact that God has used him mightily & will still continue to do so. I'm not a member of Christ embassy, but as a Believing one (in whom the Greater One dwells) would do my own part in resisting any attempt by the devil to slow down the Gospel by refusing to propagate the negative;while also saying propagating the power of the Gospel.

There's no need arguing my Heavenly Father's Words with you because they forever Settled in Heaven. But for the sake of those who might not be too sure, Check out John 4:47-53, in KJV it says the words: "began to amend" meaning the healing didn't happen instantly. Besides, there have been, there is & there will continue to be instant healings because Jesus gave us the authority and even declared that greater works we who are His would do because we believe (John 14:12).
The fact that you haven't witnessed one doesn't mean they don't still happen. In fact, I've witnessed an instant miracle were one of an elderly man's legs that was shorter than the other grew to become equal with the other one in Abuja.

The length of time it takes depends "most times" on the faith of the person; Mark 9:23 - "be it unto you according to your faith". Other times the faith of the Pastor can make it happen, but the person can only keep his healing by building up his faith.

You aren't a carnal christian, only shows that you are also physically attracted to him - which is good; it all depends on how each one responds - the choice is ALWAYS YOURS, u can either give in to ur fleshy desires or to the promptings of the Greater One dwelling in u.

1) Five years is too long, What are you two waiting for if u r both meant for each other?

2) Try not to be around each other in a private place, the carnal thoughts may come, but remember: u aren't giving place to the devil, the same Word says flee from every appearance of evil.

I don't know what is delaying both of u, whatever it is, believe God for the best marriage ever & confess it. Remember Mark 11:23.

I'm fully in agreement with all u have said - I can't even add more. I only pray that the eyes of the understanding of those who are rationalising God's Word with the limitation of physical senses, will be opened & their minds enlightened, so that they can come to the knowledge of the Truth - God's Word.

We need more persons in Nigeria who have your type of mentality with regards to having your own business.

Many of the people who replied got the interpretation they desired to get from your post; most of them are writing out of sentiments and almost deviating from your original point - which is "Go & Start something"; My Pastor even had to preach a message on this late last year, starting with Luke 19:12-26 & John 6:5-13.
An entrepreneur based economy is always better and more vibrant.

Spirit-filled christian don't owe anyone any explanation on how God does His things. (Pls See Rom.3:3-4). My response to all ur posts is not to prove the ability of my Heavenly, Loving & Merciful Father. We are already the proof of His abilities.

As regards the verse u quoted, Isaiah 45:7; u quoted out of context. The Bible (God's Word) can only be rightly interpreted with the Spirit of Wisdom & Revelation from the Greater One (or Holy Spirit); so a non-believer would most likely mis-interprete scripture. (Eph.1:15-18, 2Tim.2:15)
If u study the preceding 6 verses, u'd see God was referring to enemy nations of Israel in the Old testament (also the Old Covenant). We are New Testament (or New Covenant) believers because the New Covenant is established on better promises with Jesus Christ as the Mediator!!(See Hebrews 8:1-13). Hence, ONLY THOSE THAT ARE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT ARE SONS OF GOD WHO CAN THEN UNDERSTAND & INTERPRET THEIR FATHER'S WORDS. (Rom.8:14, 2Tim.2:15)

As regards Healing, no man(or pastor) can heal; my father God is the Healer!! He works through men. The fact that a Bishop & other believers died doesn't change the nature of my Heavenly Father - He Changeth Not!!

Whether or not u believe, I know (& so do many others) that our God is a Merciful God. God's Will is that ALL should be saved & come to the knowledge of the truth, thats why Jesus' second coming is seemingly delayed. (See 2 Peter 3:3-9, Mathew 24:3-14).

I'm also praying for ur spiritual eyes (Blackcypha & Mazaje) to be opened (every man is spirit), so u would accept Jesus as ur personal Lord & Saviour & then come to the knowledge of what He did by dying & resurrecting from the dead, through God's Word!

My Dad & some of his friends are already on Facebook & he's my friend on Facebook. There's nothing wrong with that. He's well over Fifty(50) & has been (& still is ) married for over 27 years. He's one of the few nigerian men of his age who spend alot of their time usefully on the internet for research, information & business. My dad could be up till 2am on the internet. My mum is catching up, but it hard resisting sleep, lol!!

Some people are just plain religious to think that somebody on facebook is only there to look for mistresses. Many people have made lifetime business links & contacts through facebook. So it depends on what you use it for. There are many people who have mature minds!!!

I have seen a limb grow back, here in Abuja! God's Word has inherent ability in itself (Heb.4:12). All things are possible to him that belives (Mark 9:23); Belief in God's Word is with the heart (Rom.10:9-10) & not with the head! We can't use our physical senses to rationalise spiritual things. So if u aren't a spirit-filled person, u would continue to argue because thats as far as u can see, using your physical senses (which are limited). Only those that are led by the spirit of God, are sons of God (Rom.8:14).

Spirit-filled christian don't owe anyone any explanation on how God does His things. (Rom.3:3-4) - Unbelief can't make the faith of God & His Word without effect.

As some of the previous people have responded, My Heavenly Father is a very loving and merciful.

Have we forgotten John 3:16 so soon.

All good & perfect gifts come from God; since earthquake is not a good thing, I can confidently say that he couldn't have caused it to happen in Haiti. God handed dominion of the earth to Man (Gen.1:28), but man committed Treason & passed it over to the devil (Gen.3). Hence, satan is the god of this world (2 Cor 4:4). hence satan is the cause of negative things (Acts 10:38)

God (in his mercy) provided a way for us - hence anyone who BELIEVES IN and CONFESSES Jesus as Lord is declared righteous. (John 3:16, Rom.3:22, Eph.2:. After acceptance of Jesus as Lord we were also given authority over the devil & his cohorts (Luke 10:19).

Hence, born-again spirit-filled christians are merely living physically in the world, but don't operate according to the world (1John 2:15-17; 4:4). Negative things that happen to unbelievers don't happen to us Christians because even when the devil attacks, we have the Word of God (Heb.4:12, Eph.6:17) to maintain our authority over him.

There's a young female friend of mine, about 26 years of age who resigned from Zenith bank over 2 months ago to concentrate on her business & I can say, she's good at what she does & also enjoys it.

As for the 200M, are you a christian?, then take it to God in prayer and then go boldly to offices and companies, the worst that can happen is the answer "No". On the other hand, because God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above what we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), who knows, you might even exceed the target. Its according to your faith.

Its very obvious that entrepreneurship is the ultimate way to go. Its the guaranteed way to financial freedom; just imagine that some of these workers that were laid off, had their own businesses??

But, I believe that those that resigned were paid off; at least that was what took place in Zenith bank.

There's one thing you should know; in Genesis Chapter 2, God gave man total dominion over all the earth - meaning man became the "god" of this world - hence, God couldn't do anything without man on the earth, but man (in Chapter 3) handed that dominion over to the devil. Hence, the devil is the god of this world (2Corinthians 4:4).

God in His Mercy, decided to provide a way out by sending His son - Jesus to pay (with His blood) for the redemption the world - through a simple means: Believe in your heart that Jesus is the son of God & Confess him as Lord over your life.

I'm sorry for the loss of your dad at that young age - which isn't pleasant at all, the devil caused his death because its not the Will of God for anyone to die young (Psalm 91:16); but now you have your life to live, you can live it abundantly on the earth by accepting Jesus into your life, because that's one of the reasons Jesus came (John 10:10). The abundant life includes: Divine health, Wealth, Long life and other good things (James 1:17).

Also, facebook.com isn't opening; i guess its because the email applications aren't opening, since its the email address thats normally used to log in.

As regards the PHCN situation, I believe one of the first steps is Privatisation which will lead to improvement in PHCN infrastructure all round the country & in the long run stable power supply.

With privatisation, we don't have to rely on only PHCN to provide electricity, because it would give room for other electricity companies to compete among themselves in providing the best service to Nigerians


Its is my opinion that when we get the NEPA (abi na PHCN) problem solved - Generation, transmission & Distribution, we would have had solutions to more than 60% of the Nigerian problem. Think about it - electricity affects virtually everything thing we do as well as every sector.

The days of wooing are over! To me thats "old skool"; after spending all on a girl that is not yet yours - tell me, when there's a financial 'slow-down' & business isn't at its peak, shey she will move on to the next big spender??

In fact, a girl that accepts gift, money, etc on a regular basis even without dating the guy isn't the right person at all!!!

In my own opinion, in terms of pressure for targets, on the average Zenith puts more pressure on staff than Oceanic. Also, Oceanic is a generally staff friendly bank. But in terms of promotion, Zenith is better than Oceanic.

Also, consider the pay. Everything still boils down to u. Confirm the points I raised above, things might have changed.

Facebook is really a work of art; its quite fascinating because you are able to connect with old friends anywhere in the world who you lost contact with & thereafter enagage in networking which could lead to the signing of business deals. Never underestimate the power of networking.

Those who are saying there's no big deal about facebook, dont know what to use it for;Maybe someone should show them!!!

As for the person who said the founder of facebook is a thief, that person should wait for the court's decision on the matter before saying anything because he(or she) wasn't there when it all happened. Also, there's a GREAT difference between the person who is still reasoning an idea & another who acts out an idea.

Dont judge a matter that is still in court becos u werent there (& u werent told either) when the codes were been made. It seems u have beef with these bilionaires or people that were smart. There's a difference between thinking about doing something and actually doing it.

The stock market has been in alot of boom for a while, its stands to reason that there will be a period of falling prices. Why should anyone panic? Precautions just have to be taken to prevent it from going beyond control.

I like what the minister Shamsudeen Usman said as per not allowing the market price of a share to fall by more than 1% in a day. That's a good move by the government & a quick one at that.

In fact, this is the best time to buy shares, when the prices are low. So investors take advantage of this period & ask for professional advice before buying any shares.

To meet targets, bankers (or marketers) need connections & Levels. They also need extensive follow-up of potential customers & their new customers. Location of the customer is not a barrier as far as millions of naira are involved. The banker should also work hard & work smart.

Which of the branches in Area 3? Is it the one opposite University of Abj or the one opposite Sharon Hotels? I work around there, could help with advice.

But a point shld be made that entering into the banking industry is a choice, which is taken upon the acceptance of the terms & conditions laid down by the employer.

As someone earlier said, many bankers (especially in Lagos) are daily been hospitalised with various ailments. My friend who is a nurse at one private hospital in Lagos told me she has had to nurse about 5 bankers from different banks, at different times (young men in their mid-30s, i must add) for high blood pressure & fainting, which are all stress-related.

SO DON'T KILL YOURSELF BECAUSE THE WORK WILL CONTINUE EVEN AFTER YOU ARE GONE!!![i][/i]

The truth is that the story is mainly junk & really over exaggerated.

For one, targets arent in Billions for marketers except Branch Managers & higher officers (probably 1b per annum) & even then such branches will be large branches with huge volume of business e.g. Oceanic Bank (Alausa Branch)-proximity to Secretariat.

Targets for freshers are around N50-N100m depending on the Bank & the branch. For example, a marketer in a typical Zenith bank is more under pressure to meet targets than a marketer in a typical Oceanic bank. Also, location matters,e.g a marketer whose branch is located in V/Island will tend to have a higher target than a marketer whose branch is located in Agege (or even in Benin City). It all varies.
