Ikwerres can dislodge Igbos conveniently in PH. But in ernest, it is not in our best interest to make Igbos feel unloved, much more dislodged them. Na Igbos be our biggest political supporters na.

How we want take dey sweep Rivers elections if not Igbos.

I think Wike will provide another location. My mind tell me Wike wants to buy those buildings in the name of urban renewal, seeing that road is contiguous with Olu Obasanjo road.

How many igbo people get voters card for PH and how many of dem dey vote?

Business / Landlords Issue Quit Notice To 5000 Spare Parts Traders In Port Harcourt by IkwerrePikin: 10:16am On Aug 12, 2020
Over 5000 traders at the Ikoku Spare parts market in the Mile 3 axis of Port Harcourt have been given an impromptu eviction notice of three weeks by their landowners. The landlords did not offer any reason for their action.

Chairman of the market, Anthony Alaribole in an interview with newsmen said many of the traders are yearly tenants who have been operating in Ikoku for about 30-50 years. He said they have been thrown into confusion because of the short notice.

He also alleged that the eviction notice is a strategy to destabilize the traders because of the matter they have with the police and the state government due to their demand of justice for the late Chima Ikwunado and the Ikoku4.

Some traders who spoke to City News appealed to the landlords to give them more time to plan their next move as no other location has been provided for them.

They also appealed to the state government to intervene and provide an alternative for them considering the important service they render to the society.

Though the State Government is yet to issue a an official statement on the development, City News gathered there are moves to relocate the traders to somewhere around Eleme junction.

There is different between NDDC states and Niger Delta.

Crude oil was first discovered in the Niger delta that is why the commission is named Niger delta development commission.

I expect govt to renamed it to Oil Producing State Development Commission as other states outside the Niger delta region now have crude oil.

Footage of Major General Yakubu Gowon, the Nigerian Head of State and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, at the start of a tour of the territories re-taken from the forces of the breakaway Republic of Biafra. He was visiting the city of Port Harcourt.

Maj. Gen. Gowon was accompanied on his tour by Colonel Bnejamin Adekunle, the commander of the Third Infantry Division which he renamed 3 Marine Commando, and Lieutenant Commander Alfred Diete-Spiff, the Military Governor of Rivers State, one of three states carved out of the old Eastern Region which formed the territory declared as Biafra in May 1967 by Lieutenant Colonel Emeka Ojukwu.

Also accompanying him were other top military officers including Navy Captain Nelson Soroh.

Major General Gowon inspected weapons captured from the secesssionist army and also met the indigenous people who were happy to receive him.

dokie:

What Wike has said is the simple truth. PDPs focus in 2023 is reclaiming power at the center and not zoning. Its a no brainer. PDP can't risk giving the ticket to a SE candidate. What will be the purpose? To mark the attendance register for 2023 elections? Everyone knows that the only people in Nigeria today that will support a SE presidential candidate are those from the SS. The SW hates Igbo's, the North is highly suspicious of the Igbo's fearing that an Igbo man as president may give strength to the Biafra agitation. So how does anyone expect PDP to throw dice on 2023 again.

I think the people who should be really bothered about this are those hoping to have their man become president in 2023, as no pragmatic and realistic Igbo man is expecting a SE president in 2023.

That is why we told them to support Rotimi Amaechi who is from the South South and now selling himself as Igbo to enable him cover SS and SE votes because as power moves to the South you must first win majority of Southern votes before getting the support of North to win.

Your best bet is to support Rotimi Amaechi as power moves to the South because Amaechi can pull more votes in South West, South South his home region and South East which no Igbo politican can boost of under Apc.

Proeast i told you that in Politics, what matters is who can deliver and not where you come from and you can not threaten Nigeria to vote for you with Biafra.

I don’t support power to remain in the North in 2023, it should come to the South and the person who can win more votes like Rotimi Amaechi should be considered.

Ikwerre political strength in Nigeria is very strong now.

While we control Rivers State politics, Wike has great influence not just in the Niger delta region but also in the affairs of PDP.

Rotimi Amaechi is among the top Buhari cabals controlling Apc

Rotimi Amaechi said Igbo should forget about 2023 because he understands that igbo have not built bridges with other regions in Nigeria instead your people have been preaching hate with Nnamdi kanu

Nyesom Wike has now said Pdp will not consider zoning.

Igbo need to build good relationship with Ikwerre to succeed politically by 2023 by voting Rotimi Amaechi who is an Ikwerre man who is closer to you and has an igbo wife and inlaws.

I don’t understand why you igbos find it difficult to understand the politics of today Nigeria. Your best bet is your ikwerre inlaws.

That is the eye of the needle that they will have to go through, to be accepted again.

You know how the world is. Today Igbos are the second-class citizens in Nigeria. Tomorrow they may be the first-class citizens. That is when they may start making moves to rejoin, but they will have to go through that process, otherwise they should be satisfied being a separate ethnic group.

We are very satisfied being who we are and retaining our ancestral history
Crime / Re: 7 Reasons Why Igbos Must Tackle The Ikwerre Question Now! by IkwerrePikin: 1:16pm On Aug 04, 2020
proeast:

Lol, to be honest with you, you're living in fantasy land.

Firstly, the North has always been dominated by the Hausa/Fulani and the other minorities have accepted their subservient role. That is why NW has continued to dominate them without much complain but that is not the case with South. While Igbos and Yorubas are the dominant ethnic groups in the South, the southern minorities are not being subjugated.

Secondly, the North are currently in control of local politics in Nigeria. However, the Igbos are threatening to break up Nigeria and they no that the threat is very real. They also know that the only way they can hope to take the sail out of the momentum of the separatist movement will be by breaking their support base by supporting an Igbo president. So, it is in their best interest to support Igbo president as a way of stemming the breakup attempts. Now, this is why Amaechi has suddenly become more Igbo than Ikwerre. He understands where the pendulum is swinging and is trying to reap where he did not sow. To be honest with, I see no difference between Amaechi or Tinubu or James Ibori.

Thirdly, North will rather continue ruling than allow another Yoruba man to rule considering they have ruled for 8 years as president and another 8 years as vice. If Tinubu or any Yoruba is allowed to rule, it would mean that they're no longer the power brokers and that is something they're afraid to lose.

Fourthly, SS is a heterogeneous zone, unlike the SE or SW. The Ijaw does not consider you as his brother and neither does the Ibibios, Anioma, Urhobos etc. Even within the SS, Ikwerre is not considered as a force to reckon with and you lack the numbers or spread to influence things. By the time our campaign to ostracize and isolate you guys gathers momentum, you guys will be completely relegated to the background.

Amaechi will soon become an orphan, he will neither be seen as Igbo nor Bini. His attempts to force himself on us will be totally rejected. Ikwerre are free to use our language, culture and tradition but they should stop attaching themselves on us to gain popularity. We don't want you guys in Biafra and neither do we want you to be a part of the Igbo nation. Why can't you get that into your head?

You guys have been claiming to be Bini but now we are saying you shouldn't attach yourselves to us, you refuse. What exactly do you guys want??

You’re wrong, you igbos don’t understand politics. Nobody will give you presidency because you threaten to break up. If we allow that, tomorrow we will have another region threaten breakup.

That is why the North have said, go and build bridges if you want Nigeria to support you for President and not threaten our unity.

If you don’t get Presidency in 2023 nothing will happen, Nigerians are not threaten like you think, you have more properties and investment in other parts of nigeria than igbo land. So stop feeling like we are begging you to be part of Biafra. Even your Nnamdi Kanu biafran map is laughable.

The North will rather support Amaechi and sell him to your igbo brothers instead of supporting an Igbo man because they don’t trust an Igbo man with power and biafran agitation.

Nobody will beg you to remain in Nigeria with Presidency. It’s so funny and foolish to believe such! Lol

If you want Biafra, start relocating all your people and investment to igbo land. It will first develop your region and create employment for your people. But no you’re ranting online shouting Biafra! Lol

Stop preaching hate, you’re blind, if you go with this hate speech it will consume you igbos.

If you reject Amaechi base on hate just like you reject Buhari, then you’re in for a serious problem. Just like Buhari Fulani brothers are killing your people and destroying your villages because of your hate for them and their brother Buhari, we Ikwerre people could pick up arms against you igbo migrants in Port harcourt and you will loose your lives and properties and Nigeria govt will not safe you just like they can’t safe you from Fulani.

How many Ikwerre people in South East? Which Ikwerre properties will you destroy in Igbo land?

You will loose, your hate speech will hurt you. Ikwerre have moved on, we are not fighting igbos, stop creating hatred, we have good igbo neighbors and inlaws. Your unnecessary rants is burn out of hate. The real igbos who are wiser are already drumming support for Amaechi incase he gets the ticket.

Amaechi winning all Igbo state will create good relationship with Ikwerre and Igbo and the igbo elites know this and will never loose the opportunity to create that good relationship with we Ikwerre to safe their investment and properties in PH just like Jonathan(Ijaw) and Igbo despite all that occured during the Biafran war.

Today things have change, the relationship is better now, stop preaching hate and accept reality.

Lol, this one is just decieving himself. Who or what is Ikwerre in Nigeria for you to start talking about Ikwerre presidency?

On what ground will you even demand for Ikwerre presidency? As South South's turn or as Ikwerre's turn in the rotational aspect??

Let me remind you that as a region, it is South East's turn and as an ethnic group as well as, it is Igbos turn since Nigeria sits on a tripod. However, also note that Nigeria has over 300 minority tribes of which Ikwerre is one of them, so I wonder on what basis you will demand for Ikwerre presidency when the other 300, many of them far more populous than your minute minority group has not even nursed such ambition.

THE JOKE IS ON YOU grin grin

You don’t understand Nigeria politics and you lack good knowledge of history.

Where was Yaradua from and where is Buhari from? Are they not of the same state Kastina and same region?

Zoning is between North and South and when ever it comes to any of the region, the most qualify who can win more votes first in it’s region will be considered.

Buhari was considered to fly the ticket despite coming from the same region with Yaradua because he is capable of winning more votes in the North than any politician in the north.

Power is coming to the South and someone like Rotimi Amaechi who comes from South South with his Igbo wife and also said he is Igbo (South East) stands a better chance than any igbo politician today including those in the South West.

It is a very simple mathematics with common sense.

Amaechi = Rotimi who is very loved in the SW, will win his SS people votes irrespective of the party because we will never reject our brother and loose the chance to produce president again, and he will also wim SE votes because igbos will vote for him as they regard him a brother who also says he is igbo and can speak your igbo perfectly.

Tinubu = Can only win SW and can not win SS and SE votes so it’s a disadvantage for him because, PDP dominated Niger delta people and igbo will not support Tinubu so how can you want to be president when it is the turn of the south and you can’t win majority South votes?

Igbo Candidate: Who ever present himself under Apc from the SE can not win majority SS votes in PDP dominated SS talk more of winning majority of Yorubas and northern votes as an Igbo Candidate which will be very difficult even when the North have said you cant win Northern votes to be president because you have not built bridges. So you guys are also in disadvantage because you have too much hate for the North and they don’t trust you with power and biafra agitation.

I don’t know how you igbos think, you believe Presidency will be given to you like it’s your birth right. Nobody will give you power, you need to fight to get it and i ask, is it yoruba or North that will help you fight to get power?

Even PDP will find it difficult to give you presidential ticket talk more of Apc. You better stop hate and start supporting Amaechi and build good relationship with we Ikwerres because it’s clear that we could produce President of Nigeria in 2023 just like our ijaw brothers did.

Amaechi region (South South) has the voting strength, his home state Rivers state dominated by his Ikwerre people have a voting strength of over 1.3million which is large than two South East states put together, not to talk of Delta state with over 1.2 million votes.

Be wise, stop all this anti Ikwerre fight, we have moved on, we are not fighting you igbos, you people are just killing yourselves over our unique identity and rejection to be part of Biafra and I don’t understand why you and your Nnamdi Kanu likes have a problem with our decision. I weak for una!

The only Igbos who see Ikwerre as Igbo or support Amaechi presidency are those in the dark about Ikwerre real character. Our job is to expose your real selves to them and as expected, watch them turn on you.

Ndiigbo don't care about Ikwerre and we would not have you fraudulent people impersonate us and manipulate our ignorant populace into voting one of You Igbophobic entities. It will not happen.
