You call this protecting Nigerians? Didn't OBJ leterally beg for the guy executed in Singapore. The Nigerian diplomat (Nwadadia etc) reacted like idiots.

Dude relax, Bill is here to vaccinate and the Abokis need but fear vaccination based on various conspiracy theories their people carry around.

Politics / Re: Gowon - God Took Abacha, Abiola Away To Save Nigeria by IleIfe2(m): 10:38pm On Nov 10, 2013
Abagworo: If not for military rule, Nigeria would have collapsed. Sometimes I ponder how democracy would have survived with oil being our major source of foreign exchange. Gowon's reign coincided with oil boom just like we have today and so much money was at his disposal to engage in infrastructural development. Shagari unfortunately was hit with low oil price which persisted through the various military regimes until it started rising under Obasanjo 1999-2007.

If I must judge based on prudence and patriotism, then I'll score Abacha highest based on his ability to manage Nigeria with oil selling at $11 per barrel, creating Bayelsa State and construction and reconstruction of most federal roads, stable value of Naira and zero borrowing.

He built the jos terminus/main market that his people have now blown to pieces. The greatest waste of cement ever known to man. That structure is the biggest shopping mall i've ever seen in my life.

Dude, if PDP rigs election, APC has the right to seek justice in a tribunal. Conduct a free and fair election and there will be no need to head to a tribunal. So, let it rest.

Plain rubbish from the usual suspects and crybabies. Are the Ibos the only people outside the shores of Nigeria?
Even for Woolwich where a Yoruba man butchered a cop in day light, the Yorubas were spared, because they know the mad boy action is an isolated case. But why are your people been the one killed everywhere. Everyone has problem with them. Hausas, Yoruba, even among yourself...and everywhere you go in the world. Go to Chinco prison, malaysia, india sef, what is it! NA wetin !

Its funny,"Nigerians" don't get killed for commercial/industrial disputes or ICCA issues, its always over illegal stuffs and big ego.

People from a shit hole always trying tell others from a better and developed homeland where leaders were and are committed to national development that they are sharper and smarter than them. (Pardon my language) if you are smarter, your leaders will not steal from you and get away with it.

Slizbeat: After watching the video posted on YouTube, I see that the Nigerians were right for demanding justice but were wrong the way they went about it.

Again, I really wouldn't blame them for what they did cos of how Nigeria is and how Nigeria will react about it with our government nonchalant attitude over the death of any of her nationals outside the shores of Nigeria.

Similar thing happened sometime ago in this same Goa where a Nigerian National was killed and everything was swept under the carpet by the Goan police.

That's not the way to demand for justice, what they ended doing is asking for more ill treatment.

Dude, if Nigerians did not violently protest, those Indians wouldn't have looked for the nearest Nigerian to kill. if you observe, they tried to attack a car at the end of the video, maybe a family for that matter.

samo: I just watched the video, apart from the description made by the person who posted the video, there is no indication that the person beaten was a Nigerian, secondly it seems there was an accident with a motor bike ( I think the reason why the motorbike was also beaten up grin) and somebody got injured or died in the process reason why the black dude was beaten up. I do not think the description of the video is just enough for us to conclude that he was a Nigerian and was protesting a fellow Nigerians death. We should tread with caution and not let petty sentiments and false information make us be hateful

the uploader said "thrashing Nigerians" and it was uploaded on the 31st of october, 2013.

25omega: The question is: Does the foreign affairs minister know about this video? and does he have enough clout or pull to do something about it.

I think they have seen it, especially the Nigerian house in India. that's why they must have issued those threats and formal complain.

Promhize:

And some people liked your comment, do you know for how long some of them have been living there? So in your mustard-seed-brain this is right, because they protested?

How dull can a person be!

When you attack people, block their roads and destroy their property in their country in the name of protest, in a country that use caste system, you are putting your life in danger. The video definitely enrages most Nigerians and Africans. But "Nigerians" should learn to use their common sense.

Afam tried to manipulate the heading to cause more problem.

ROSSIKE:

How do you know the protesters were illegal immigrants?

Inferiority complex alert. Pray, are Europeans superior beings to Nigerians? You really have no shame, or maybe you were raised by wild animals who taught you no sense of your worth as a human being.

Europeans are not super beings but if you had read the DM report, you would have known the Goans preferred European tourists to "nigerian student" or whatever. "Nigerians" asked for it when they started attacking locals and police men.

Is this all you could harvest from the thread ?

Dwelling on the use of grammar rather than a fellow citizen whose life was probably cut short illegally.

You need to spare us your nonsense and address the core issues of torture and possible murder of a fellow Nigerian.

if a group of Yoruba or Hausa youths tried what "Nigerians" did in Goa in places like Onitcha, Aba or Umuahia. Na Alu 4 get them. What kind of stupidity drives an illegal immigrant to barricade streets and attack police in a foreign land because of perceived injustice?

The locals are not fools, they will certainly take action. "Naija" boys want to be treated like europeans. If the Indian police had over reacted nothing would have happened grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
