Politics / Re: The "Hatred" For "Nigerians by IleIfe2(m): 11:37am On Nov 07, 2013
Afam4eva: These Nigerians, as much as i believe they have the right to make their grievances known as it relates to the death of their fellow country man in Goa, i don't think it's right for them to go about destroying government infrastructure. This is something they can't even try in Nigeria because they'll be shot at sight let alone in a country like India. I think that's the height of disrespect.

The Indian authorities should also employ due diligence in dealing with criminals and stop labeling every Nigerian in that country criminals. They should be aware that the government of Nigeria is ready to pay eye for eye and blood for blood. I think Indians benefit from Nigeria than Nigerians benefit from India, so they'll be the ones to lose. he who has an ear let him hear.

Only God knows that i can't live in a place where my kind are hated. How does one even survive in such an atmosphere.

Local politicians and police men are already rallying their folks. check youtube, the anti Nigeria sentiment is at a all time high.
Politics / Re: Global Youth Forum To Shutdown Activities Nationwide If Oduah Is Sacked by IleIfe2(m): 11:32am On Nov 07, 2013
franchizy: As part of our commitment to fair hearing, equity, justice and fairness. We have received reports on the purported recommendation for the sack of Dame Princess Stella Oduah by the House of Representative committee.
We are aware that during the investigation and hearing of the matter, the Hon Minister exonorated herself of any wrong doing.
It is obvious that she only instructed the NCAA to do the NEEDFUL which implies to DUE PROCESS. We are shocked and saddened at the latest development recommending for her sack.
We are convinced that the committee were bias just for the fact that the Hon Minister hails from the South East.
We condemn it, we condemn it, we condemn it and we shall mobilise a mass protest that shall cripple activities nationwide should Oduah be sacked.
We call on the NLC, TUC, Nupeng, PENGASAN, NMA, NUT, SNG, NBA and every civil society organisation to rise up in defence of our best performing minister Dame Princess Stella Oduah.
We are confident that president Goodluck Johnathan who believes in equity, fairness and Rule of Law will stand for the truth and spare the minister.

Politics / The "Hatred" For "Nigerians by IleIfe2(m): 11:23am On Nov 07, 2013
There has been an uproar over the death of a Nigerian national in the state of Goa, Konkan, west India. A group of African looking men were shown barricading the high way. They reportedly attacked Police officers who mobilised to the scene, vandalised public property and attacked members of the local community.

This is what you get for disrespecting your host community. You claim injustice then you start attacking locals and police men in their country, blocking public roads. Its senseless

Politics / Re: Fashola In UK With Power Generating And Transmission Comps. PICS by IleIfe2(m): 2:14pm On Nov 06, 2013
wesley80: Nothing but a waste of resources this. The Brits have no desire to build any country, any serious leader would be having lunch with the Chinese, Russians, Indians and Brazillians. These nations have demonstrated time and time again their desire to help developing nations improve while the Brits are content to sit and play slave masters. IMO Fashola deserves knocks for this and not credit, we need our Pounds in OUR country.

The Chinese are building the light rail.

Guilt and fear. "What if she says no and tell other church members and pastor i tried to woo her" Religious women and women in general are very complicated at times. Its a blured area i'm also trying to understand.

Imagine when you pray and worship God with someone and after the PM or service you call her to a side and tell her, i like you? i dreamt and saw us together? corny and creepy. grin grin

stevedure: Some guys are just bent on takin down a workin minister. They want to distract the president who is performing and in the process, kill time. The south-westeners are just angry that this woman established an International airport away from the south, which means they won't be sole dependence on the Lagos airport henceforth! Sara Reporters are just the propaganders used by the south-westerners(APC) to fight the effecient Government. In western n civilized world, such situations are verified before being reported as fact, but this bunch of untrained Idiots keep on prying! Maybe they should ask what happened to Julian Asange!

What does the lagos airport really add to the life of an average south westerner? The only direct benefit to the ordinary man is maybe cab drivers and other shady and legitimate businesses being run at the airport, yellow card, unlicensed money changers, fast food and mini restaurants and employment. Note, nigerians of all tribes do these things.

Why do you people have the impression that an average yoruba man is jealous of enugu airport, where does that come from? i doubt anyone expects another international airport to be located in ibadan, osogbo Ado or akure.

What makes you think enugu airport will distrupt the economic well being of other cities like lagos, port harcourt, abuja or kano. i don't get it. Do you people know what the rest of us don't know?

It is always gonna be a MAN'S WORLD in THE AFRICAN JUNGLE!

Hallelujah to the civilized world!!!! kiss

Which plot? If you are corrupt, you are corrupt. Didn't assassins follow Akunyili all the way to her family compound in her hometown? What happened? They missed a few feet from her. upright women have shown themselves to be very effective in Nigeria, not the aviation minister.

“When she came on board as the minister, she inherited a lot of baggage in terms of the concession and lease agreements in the sector, which were clearly not in the interest of the government and people of Nigeria.

“And so, she took bold steps and some of these agreements were reviewed and some were terminated, and these moves disturbed some entrenched interests in the sector, and within this period, she began to receive some imminent threats to her life; therefore, the need for the vehicles.

Shame on Stella Oduah's supporters. No self respect or dignity. ogboju ole. its cultural and genetic. SMH

Tadon200: the movie will be among those competing in the Africa film festival that will be held in calabar.

VillageBoi:
Yes! And I can say, despite it being a pretty 'regular' Nollywood story, it is one of the most brilliantly shot films I saw at the BFI: London Film Festival this year. Mad respect for the Director - Andrew Dosunmu - he is so well versed in the visual language of film. The film is practically a master-class in filmmaking. I can't wait for it to come into the cinemas. To be honest with you the film shot straight to the top of my best-films-of-2013 list - yup, it has knocked off anything 'Hollywood'. I was that impressed!

Interesting, i thought as much after seeing the trailer.
