I will explain after the governorship election. If pdp was able to prove they are a formidable opposition in the coming dispensation then there is hope but if in the end of the election they suffered more defeat then there is a problem. And that problem would be that we have all places our eggs in one basket.

Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.

I just pray we are wise enough to keep the politicians competing at all times.

2. the ones you would only mean something to after they've tested you.

Yoruba are so accommodating, you think this recent drama can happen in the north without your so called "fearless" blood been shed.

Stop beating your chest and forming superman.

say no to tribalism
Can you fight an igbo man one on one mr bloodshed ? Not in a million years. Now you're even dead in your very north. You will all soon be running down south in years to come. You're only displaced yet you haven't seen nothing.

Pls the yorubas should emulate the north and stop making mouth like their mad king

Look at this hypocrite.
The amount spent on campaigns by the pdp alone should tell you who the fools are. You are the one that sold his soul to the devil. So you know that pdp is something that you can be saved from and yet you voted for them.
Nobody called pdp an evil party before taking over. So why can't you be patient and wait till the APC messes up?
Pdp is dead. With the massive defection pdp is going into extinction

PoliticsRe: [picture] Here Is The Real Problem Of The Igbos by illiad: 2:09pm On Apr 09, 2015
belabela:
Nice one.

First the calculation will only be true if both men and women give birth and excludes the possibility that people die from other causes apart from war. A reasonable estimate will be 2 million.

The interesting thing is that it is only in the South West of Nigeria that Igbos properties were not regarded as abandoned properties. Yorubas refused to follow that decree. Yes in the north and portharcourt especially most properties were claimed by locals as abandoned properties.

That is why I find it funny today when the Igbos in the South east are telling their kinsmen in Lagos to declare war over Obas comments as if they will win it.

Igbos could have got the chance if they played their politics well. All other major opposition parties joined APC except the "real" APGA. And now Igbos will not be senate president or even speaker of the house of reps. It's more like political suicide. Tact and planning is key to winning a battle. Just rushing to war because you feel aggrieved isn't going to solve any problem.

Now Igbos are about to marginalise themselves in Lagos. Tinubu started the appointment of non-indegenes to key positions in Lagos, many Igbos have benefited. Now Agbaje is promising Igbos that they will have a King of equal staus to the Oba of lagos and they seem to have swallowed another lie.

if APC wins how will Igbokwe be able to negotiate more things for Igbos when they are currently seen as Agabje backers. Igbos need to learn from history
I don't know where exactly you people think from, but I suspect it must be from your anus.

So we should all have joined apc?
Why not ask the national assembly to draft a resolution on making nigeria a one party state. Yorubas keep amazing me.

It is the height of absurdity to say or think Igbos feel inferior. Interior to who please? Yorubas or Hausas?

FYI pls the average igbo man knows he/she is first before any other. Why else do you people think were proud and arrogant. Its simply because we are always confident of ourselves.

We all know you're supplying arms. You waited for war to start but Jonathan said no and you're pained.

Foolish man. Why did you not emulate Jonathan before killing Aguiyi Ironsi? And why didn't Gowon and the rest of you bloodsuckers emulate Jonathan by holding on to the Aburi accord which Ojukwu initiated and you all agreed upon in Ghana only to return from Ghana do something different with your conniving awolowo. Why didn't you bloodsuckers emulate Jonathan when your people continued unabated in the murder of Igbos in northern nigerian?

Now the blood of igbos murdered in the north are on a vengeance. Imagine that you can't even live in your village Danjuma, because there will never be Peace in northern nigeria.

Now you people are internally displaced in your own place.

Lol! There is no need rewriting history. Tafawa Balewa told the British that if they did not agree to allow the north a higher number in the national assembly then the British should kindly leave so that HausaFulanis will continue their jihad until they get to the lagoon. So my friend it was the British that stopped them at ilorin as they intended matching until lagos. And should civilization disappeared this very moment HausaFulanis are still ready to take all yoruba land.

Unfortunately the yorubas can't die to save ilorin from the hands of the invaders which is the only way to get it back.

You may never achieve what he has achieved in life. And it is not certain you will ever have the luxury of moving close to him. Governors will spend 8 years max and leave the Oba will remain.

If Igbos really want to test their popularity they should get an Igbo candidate as governor and all vote him. Then Igbos can really send a clear message to the Oba. As it stands Oba wants Ambode to win. He claims nobody knows how he chose him..even Tinubu doesnt know. Agabje is Obas blood relative. So if Igbos say we hate the Oba we will vote his blood relative as governor are they expecting agbaje to put the interest of Igbos first before the Oba. It will do Igbois like film trick when the first person Agabje will go and greet is the Oba while some people recieve curses on their lineage for misguided utterances against the Oba.
Boy the fact that igbos are here in lagos doesn't mean we have no tradition or medicine in the east. your mad oba can only curse you and your family he can never curse anybody. All his juju is just what ordinary igbo masquerades move about with. So take the curse home to your generations unborn.

Drop Your Crown And Pursue Politics –Afenifere Reacts To Oba of Lagos Anti-Igbo.

Wednesday, April 8, 2015.

Pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere has called on the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu to drop his crown and pursue politics following his recent anti-igbo remarks.
Spokesperson of Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin spoke to Vanguard about the position of the group;
“We say with all sense of responsibility that if these were truly the words of Kabiyesi, he has clearly crossed the line of royal decency, desecrated the royal stool and violated the electoral laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and engaged in promotion of hate speech capable of fueling ethnic tension and clashes which are against the spirit of peaceful co-existence which we have achieved in recent years.

We respect the right of Oba Akiolu to drop the crown at Iga and become Director of Mobilisation for the leader of his party if he so desires, but we detest his hiding behind the throne to fan the embers of disunity which could put Yoruba people in harm’s way wherever they are living as settlers. Yoruba people are too civilized to support the primitive intimidation of fellow Nigerians just as we will not accept such action being visited on our people in any part of Nigeria.” he said

Let me tell you something about being accommodating. If the govt had decided not to sign C of O for lands for some non-indegenes they could have gotten away with it. After the civil war, every property owned by Igbos in the SW was returned to them, that even didn't happen in Port Harcourt, your so-called neighbors. If the govt wanted to make efforts to frustrate Igbo businesses, they would have been doing that. There are just some things we take for granted because things have come easily and believe me I won't want it any other way. Like you said the SW is the way it is because they've allowed everyone thrive but let's not take it for granted. It's even gotten to the point Igbos have started discriminating against Yorubas in some areas in Lagos, I just shared an experience in another thread.
We do business, yorubas and igbos that's all the Bleep we do, you sell everything to us and after utilizing our money for your own personal purposes you want to tell I am being accommodated. Didn't you accommodate my money when you used it to send your children to school or shared it amongst your omonile kindred? Please you people should stop insulting us because we will never take insult from anyone. I am tired of it all.

If you HausaFulani and Yorubas are tired of this contraption called nigeria then let us all call it a day either peacefully or otherwise.

For me I live and die in dignity as a proud Igbo man.

If it is war let us begin with it but if we are not ready yet then let us all shot our mouths, kings and co.

First of thanks for saying I've been sensible.. lol I appreciate it.

All I'm saying is, this is one man's opinion. I'm Yoruba and I'm saying what he said is wrong. He's not the first to insult a tribe and he won't be the last. We all just need to be sensible and be the best we can be individually.

Most Yorubas I know have condemned him, if we're being honest the same cannot be said for Patience that also insulted a whole tribe. I really didn't notice the SS/SE people come out in unison to condemn that statement, as a matter of fact people were defending it. Asari has issued too many threats against the Yorubas and Hausas especially the Hausas and I've never noticed a condemnation in unison.

To now give away the future of Lagos to people that have failed Nigeria for so many years because of one man's speech is what I don't agree with. Now if you think PDP has done well and you think Agbaje deserves a chance, well then vote him for that reason not because of some man's words.

The fact is, Yorubas have generally been the most accommodating people in this country. Imagine if a traditional ruler had said this in north even thought it was wrong and non-indegenes start insulting him, you too know what will be going down right now.
Accommodating accommodating accommodating. I don't see it that sense at all. We pay for everything here and you're talking about accommodating like its all free. And talking about the north what have become of the north now? Even the murderous northerners can't live in their not peacefully and that is what you get when you're when decide to fight the very people who make your place interesting to live. I dare the yorubas to borrow a leaf from the north and see if their place wouldn't become even more desolate than the north.

I wish we can all live separately or start this our long awaited final war so that in the end all will live in pieces.
