lendahand: Rather, you are the person with a generation Z-thought pattern, whose thinking ability has been impaired cuz of AI. Fasting is an ancient practice that subdues your flesh and exalts your spirit. Both light and dark societies use it positively and negatively respectively. It is very potent if you set your heart on God while fasting.
NB: I'm not in support of the husband staying many years away from the wife oo but rather than the wife engaging in sexual sins as a married woman, she should beckon on God to assist her till the situation changes. Fasting is not sex brother. It could help distract for a while but it doesn't in the long run. Not all problems is solved with fasting |

She's getting close to the tail end of her career, there's nothing wrong in securing her future. Anyway I watched Babygirl in TIFF. Her bo*bs are still standing and she still has bangable a*s |

oyaskii: "Hijack'93" (2024)
Everyone involved in this mess should be arrested: the cast, the director, the producer, the extras, even the Netflix execs who okayed it… I mean everybody!
Forgive the long review, but it comes from a place of intense anger. 😩
When the trailer first came out, we thought the only issue might be the wrong use of props. But after watching the actual movie, it’s clear that was just a small part of the problem.
Without mincing words, this might be the worst Nollywood flick I’ve seen in a long while. This hogwash has set the industry back by at least 10 years… it’s absolutely irredeemable.
The plot was a madhouse: zero coherence, zero structure, zero character development. It felt like they were just throwing random scenes in, hoping something would stick and none of it did. Clearly, no one in the writers’ room was thinking straight. There’s even a scene where the supposed Nigerian special forces try to rescue a Chinese diplomat's son from the hijacked plane by sending him poisoned food so he’ll get sick. When he’s taken off the plane, they plan to give him an antidote. Yes, they actually acted out this insane idea 😭😭
The use of modern props stripped the movie of any 1993 ambience, it was the most modern-looking “period” flick ever. Without the title, you’d think this adapted event happened last year.
The background story wasn’t engaging enough to justify an adaptation imo. Given that Nigeria barely keeps records, they were working with a topic that had very few documented firsthand details; of course they’d run into plot holes.
The plot follows four supposedly oppressed youths who want to “save” Nigeria from a corrupt government. So, they’re somehow convinced to hijack a plane and divert it to Frankfurt so they can start new lives. How does that fight against a bad government? To make things worse, the movie paints these characters as heroes.
There were so many random, unexplained events, and it seemed like they just expected viewers to connect dots that didn’t even exist. They had the audacity to throw in a Yoruba vs. Igbo tribal war trope for no apparent reason, and it was a cringe fest. That popular fair-skinned guy from Twitter played one of the hijackers, and he would randomly burst into the cabin with a gallon of fuel, threatening to douse everyone, yet there’s zero explanation of how the fuel got onto the plane. The whole thing was so chaotic.
Like 30 mins to the end, it didn't even care what happened, didn't care for the hijackers, i didn't care for the hostages, that's how little they sold the characters and story to me. I just kept it as BG noise and started streaming El Çlassico on another device, imagine missing Barça Youngins, pasting Madrid, 4 kolo in their own backyard? E for too pain me 😭, as that was an all timer El Çlassico, it hasn't been that good since Messi and CR7 used to go band for band.
Normally, everyone involved in this hogwash supposed to dey sleep cell by now😩. Save your sanity and avoid this flick at all costs. It’s a terrible example of where the industry should not be headed.
2/10. From your explanation it's like the writers and directors have never entered a plane or know how a heist or hijack happens. Normally, writers research for months just to get a good script but it's like they just dreamed up the story |

You don't have to experience war before you've a say on it just like the issue of masturbation. Yes 👍 they're based on my projection and also a lot of medical professionals too. Doctors have not said it's bad for your health in any way but everyone knows addiction to anything is bad for you. Masturbation is not addiction. Have an awesome day |

AfonjaConehead: That ain't God's design... When the bible talked about females dressing like males and males doing same, the bible talked about common sense, about our heats condemning us or not....it talked about Nature teaching us. Wtf are you saying? Your heart condemning you to do something is not nature. Someone could do something and not feel bad in any way until you guys turn to keyboard Warriors online on the person's matter. We're in a society where everyone is so separate and people are afraid to get married and if everyone's following your definition of 'nature's teachings' 75% of adult humans right now will never get to experience the concept of sex or anything close to it. Humans change nature - they did for marriage. Marriage was never natural until humans made it so. So so far it's not breaking any rules or hurting anybody, it's up to the human being to discover what's natural to him or her not YOURSELF |

Druss: You are projecting from a position of ignorance and lack of experience. You have also attempted in your ignorance to interpret my words in a wrong manner. Who said anything about a woman's body being her man or her own? I have spoken based on my own experience. I leave it to her to make her choice.
Have you masturbated in your life? Do you have experience of the effects? The answer is clearly no. I will wait for those who are willing to speak more of their experience to come and share.
Sex is far healthier for your body than masturbation. I would advise myself if I could go back in time to run away from masturbating. Yes 👍 sex is healthier than masturbation also masturbation is not bad for your body in any way - you were just doing too much and watching porn and you got addicted to it instead of doing something more productive with your time. We're talking about a married woman who has been sex starved by her husband - she has two options - masturbation or disloyalty. Masturbation is better. |

AfonjaConehead: Yes I admit that's a very sensible reply from you but common sense should teach us about self service and the likes... If everyone is just using common sense, religion would not exist. It's actually common sense to pleasure yourself - people have been pleasuring themselves since man could walk |

Lanre1st: Everybody is saying is a sin, which is true. But you all fail to put it in missing it for 3years which is a longtime for anybody talk less of person of high libido with past stories.
As it a sin for her to satisfy her needs with other things, it also righteous in religion perspective for her to divorce the husband in absentia and get marry to another man who will answer her call. Since the goal is heavenly gain, and not to have sex with other person or things than her husband.
It easy to say don't do it but practical is hard. It's not a sin ma- she's married and can engage in sexual activities so far she's not being unfaithful to her husband. Married Women even touch themselves when they bathe - if they touch themselves a little and are aroused, are they going to hell too? |

Druss: In hindsight it is a sin as you are damaging your body and also hurting your future partner. It is not explicitly stated in the Bible as in 'Do not masturbate'. Take it from me - you are right to not do it. With experience I can tell you to treat it as sin. It affects your body mentally and physically. 💀💀💀💀 hold on - how does masturbation damage your body and 'hurt your future partner'? If masturbation damages your body - sex does the same thing, brother. In hindsight, you're saying a woman's body doesn't belong to her but her husband - that's sexist and not true. You could claim masturbation is a sin when you're not married but it is definitely not when you are. |

As I mentioned the key question she is asking is about masturbation. Adult toys are tools to do such. I have never even masturbated before and I'll never classify it as a sin because it isn't. Engaging in sexual activities when you're not married is wrong but when you're it's not- that's according to the Bible |

Commit your time away from your husband and use it to gain deeper depth in Christ.
As you are gaining depth the Holy Spirit will regulate your sexual appetite - and make it normal. Currently, your sexual appetite is untamed and it's likely a product of your past.
This is something I have seen the Lord do for me when I commit myself to him. My sexual appetite is regulated to normalcy. How will fasting cure your sexual desires? Don't engage with any intimacy gadget just to satisfy fleshy lust rather engage in work. Learn to be busy Look away from any romantic film, book, discussion, serminar and look to Jesus
Though it might be hard for you but see it as your own cross for the sake of God and heaven.
Fixed your mind on Christ and return your mind to your childhood days when sex and pleasure wasn't your way. Even with high libido, you should not engaged in such becaus menstubation is a sins to God, so doing that is sins.
Lastly Why didn't you follow your husband overseas.
Husband and wife are meant to be together to avoid temptation and questions like this.
