Yes I am angry simple because it seems evil are winning over righteousness and 419 is progressing more than salvation. You are profiting the vulnerability of our Nigerians. You (tithe collector) remember what Jesus told the tax collector like you, to sell all his things and give it to the poor if he wants to make heaven. All your partners in crime, if u like call them pastors or prophets, they must receive their punishment from God.

The pastor in this video included, plus other yahoo pastors namely TB Joshua, Christ oyakloemy, apostle Suleiman, Christ okotie, fireman and many other fake miracle doers.
My partners in crime? Have you sold all your property for The poor? If you haven't then shame on you! Since you know all the "religious scammers", simply carry gun and kill all of them. You say they will receive punishment from God and yet you are killing yourself there. Why are you fighting God's battle for him?
Oga drink water and sleep.

When you encourage religious scam you are a scammer also. Nigeria is full of religious scammers like u.

Encourage science and fact finding, encourage hard working and integrity, encourage good conscience and equity and watch as we grow to become world best country, not ur religious 419.
1. What gave you the impression I am supporting "religious scammers"?
2. I don't know why you are mad at me to be honest. I am not the cause of your problems. I go to church, learn the word of God, sing and dance (it makes me sooooo happy), pay my offering (to support the growth of the church), pray to my father and come back home feeling refreshed. How does that affect you?
Try is one day, you won't be this miserable I bet you.
PS: science and religion are mutually exclusive. However, science and my faith are NOT mutually exclusive.
Have a nice day and try to smile more. It will help you.

drug dealing and stealing are totally different

drug dealers became that strictly for the Money and feel the risks involved are worth it, almost all drug dealers would stop if it becomes legal, certain countries have effectively gotten rid of drug dealers by legalising the drugs

thieves also risk it for the money/materials only AFAIK

but homosexuals prefer same sex partner to opposite sex partner, I see no reason someone would suddenly "chose" to "prefer" that if that's not the case

and to buttress that, there are straight people that are ready to carry out homosexual acts for the money too
Same way people go into homosexuality for the pleasure they derive from it. For them, the love for the act or their partner is worth the risk. Comprende?

Nature vs nuture proves it. I've used Arab countries as an example.
The scientific consensus is that Homosexuality and any other sexual orientation is not a choice backed up by research evidence, so you can make your inferences from this statement.
Just because they kill gays in the middle east proves nothing. Drug dealers are killed in many countries, but there are still drug dealers. Where they born with it? Let's come home. Any thief caught in the market is usually burnt alive. But people still steal in the markets almost every day. So that's not a point.

there are gay people who were never exposed to gay movie or anything with gay content
I do not believe that sir. No one just grows up and becomes gay. Either he his environment plays a part in his choice of He makes the choice himself. Common factor is the word "choice". And if he makes the choice himself, that first trial is always weird for him. That's because deep down he knows it is unnatural. But as he continues, he begins to see it as normal.
Religion / Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by ilynem(m): 3:14pm On May 23, 2017
CatfishBilly:

There is no evidence that exposure has an influence on sexual orientation.
No evidence whatsoever.
Just as there is no evidence that anyone is born gay.

Superpower:
you don't need to try gay sex to know that you are gay.alot of gay people start having attraction to same sex at a young age
That is where exposure comes to play. Expose your child to gay movies, chances are he will grow up to get attracted to men because he will see it as normal. Don't you think kids raised by gay parents are more likely to be gay?
Religion / Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by ilynem(m): 2:55pm On May 23, 2017
Pastafarian:

its very simple, there has to be an attraction in the first place, I have to somehow find a man being naked somehow attractive in a sexual way for me to even think that I have the tendency

I've lived in hostels with fellow "adult" males and at NO time did being attracted to fellow male cross my mind all that happened is us comparing our physique and debating who has the better chances with the "ladies", infact as a confession while I was younger and just reached puberty my dick has this way of "rising" just by seeing an attractive female classmate and I cure the rising by simply removing my gaze and looking at a male classmate instead and it NEVER failed to make my dick lose erection

so what she's saying if I'm being put in an environment where homosexuality is allowed and not frowned upon I can somehow find a man sexually attractive than a woman how
Funny story grin grin grin grin. But I do not think someone just grows up and automatically starts being attracted to a man. Same way someone doesn't just start loving weed until he has tried it or alcohol for that matter. You try it first and then you start getting attracted.
Maybe if you had tried it with one of those men in the hotel, you might have loved it? And then your penis would start standing when you see a man.
Modified!!!
Sorry I am a bit of a novice. But when you type pe.nis here, why does it automatically change to joystick when you post it? undecided

doesn't negate the fact that there have been great minds who became great despite their being surrounded by smaller minds

doesn't negate the fact that there are lots of doctors who grew up in highly illiterate families and environments

doesn't mean those doctors that came from illiterate and poor families have some psychological things wrong with them

I must've missed the message here, can you be more clear?

this is absolute rubbish, I don't think I can possibly practise sex with a man and enjoy it more than I do with a woman no matter the number of times I would try to give it a try and decieve myself into thinking I'm enjoying it

this is preaching to the choir
How do you know? Have you tried it before?

for me personally I don't really see homosexuality as a threat the real threat is transgenderism lol.

anyway I understand what you mean. but things change morality evolves slavery, child marriage, selling off women in the name of marriage was normal. but change is constant. but we shouldn't accept everything simply because it's new and seen as progressive and we shouldn't condemn everything because an ancient book written by men with limited scientific knowledge told us to.
I think many people are confused because I created this thread in the religion section. I have not even brought my Christian beliefs into this. The only thing I stated in the OP was that as a Christian, I am meant to love them. And I am sure that Is one thing you atheists will agree with me on. My question is, at what point we we start seeing "progressive" as abominable? Why do you accept homosexuality and go "ewwwww" at transgenderlism?

yes i realize and trust me, its quite scary. I hope the act is not so much by choice as they say.

But really if people wanna sleep with same sex, how does affect us. I still think the act, despite being disgusting, hurts no one
And that is my argument Brother Francis. I am not saying we should discriminate against them. I am not saying kill them. In fact as a Christian, I am supposed to love them. But my point is this. Making homosexuality acceptable as the norm will play a huge part in the sexual orientation of our kids. Imagine your kids watching movies (and cartoons these days) and seeing gay people all over. They will grow to see it as just another normal thing and don't be surprised when they start being gay. Also, how long before people start seeing incest and Bestiality as normal too?
CatfishBilly already says he has no problem with incest as long as they don't have children.

I've already explained this and why it shouldn't be.
Killing is also natural, but I've explained why it's wrong.
You still haven't dropped an irrefutable reason why Homosexuality is wrong, everything that you've brought has been shut down.
You told me a mother having sex with her son is wrong because she's taking advantage of her position of authority and that's supposed to be an argument? Really?

I'm tackling the "natural" argument, that's all.

Are you going to keep comparing us to animals?
Religion / Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by ilynem(m): 1:08pm On May 23, 2017
CatfishBilly:

The "animals do it" example is to debunk the "It's not natural" opinion. Simple.
If it's not natural, then animals shouldn't be doing it.
Animals have sex with their mothers. That's natural too.

All I see here are people arguing against Homosexuality based on their own personal opinion. Not evidence.
All they come up with is "It is not natural"
I've asked this question, Define natural. No answers yet.
I'm asking it again, define natural.
Anything caused by nature and not human made.

Yes now. Almost every topic on homosexuality carries something like, then why do animals act like that if it isn't natural. Even animals are homosexuals.....

The comparisons are just too much. We're talking about humans for crying out loud. So I drew my conclusion from the comparisons.
I once saw a thread by an atheist here on why Humans are not so special. So apparently we are not different from animals. That's what they think. So it is understanding if they compare us to animals at every turn.

I dont like homosexual act. It disgusts as well as irritates me. The thought of the act alone makes me want to pull out my own skin. It does not go well with my sense of natural order of things. If I my child turns out gay, I will feel bad and see myself as a failed parent, I will take responsibility and that is why I will do my best as a parent now so as not to have myself to blame.

But the fact still remains that its their choice, they hurt no one sleeping with each other. I tend not to make their sexual life style my business, afterall, its really not my business.

If in future, people see it as a normal thing, then this is nothing I have control of, i will not be bothered about that either.

the woman in the pix loves her daughter... its her f**king business. I really dont care... she can call her husband and both can have party, it aint gonna bother me in anyway just as long as i will not stop me from buy the land I want to buy at abijor.
But you do realise that the kind of environment your child grows in plays a huge part in his or her sexual orientation?
