If the son is above 18, it's still not okay, the parent is abusing the position of authority. The comparison is not weak, it's another example of someone abusing their position of authority.

What is your definition of normal?
If something isn't well represented in the population in terms of population, does it make the said thing abnormal?
There is a reason why homosexuality is not popular and it is not because of religious beliefs. It is the same reason why incest is not normal. You gave your reason of incest not being normal with medical backing. But we didn't always know this. People in the past didn't know this and yet they saw incest as an abomination.
Supporting homosexuality and bashing incest or mother-son dating is double standards at best. The mother abusing her authority? The son can say no. But he gave his consent! There is absolutely no abuse.

You are a very sick human being.

When Muslims kill and behead Christians, you are nowhere to be seen in the threads. When Muslims imprison atheists, you are nowhere to be seen.

You are now jumping like frog up and down because you finally have a case of Christians killing Muslims.

The main issue is that Christians and atheists are quick to condemn massacres done by their adherents. They even go as far as fighting against terrorists within their religion. Different American churches fought against the lords resistance army in Uganda if I remember correctly. But with Muslims like you, some of you like to twist and dodge.

For instance, when an atheist was sentenced to prison for blasphemy, a lot of Muslim comments were ambiguous- they didn't want to outrightly condemn the sentencing because they would have to admit that the atheist has a right to blaspheme- freedom of expression.

Born2Freak defending Christians. Is this a dream? shocked

We haven't been able to demonstrate that animals can give consent to sex, it's purely conjecture, so, until we can demonstrate, they can't give consent, and assuming consent is wrong, got Kemen kicked out of the house like I said earlier.

Parent having sex with an offspring is wrong because, the child in question hasn't gotten to the age of consent and to properly understand the consequences of the said action, so they can't give informed consent. Assumed age of competence is 18.
If a parent makes sexual advances towards an offspring, the said parent is abusing her position of authority like a Principal sleeping with his student, and empathy in humans doesn't allow for abuse of position of authority, so, it is wrong.
But if they are 2 adult siblings, consenting and not having children, it's their business.
I have explained my position why bestiality and incest is wrong.
So if the son is above 18? Is it OK to sleep with the mother? And your comparison with principal, student is just weak. Its funny how you will see "abusing if authority" as morally wrong but abusing the normal sexual practise as OK.

I will first present a small list of failed biblical prophecies
Genesis 26:4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed.

Here God tells Isaac that his descendents (Hebrews) will be as numerous as the stars. Considering the number of stars there are in the universe, that would have to be on the order of 1020 Jewish people.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Christians say that this verse is a prophecy of Jesus' birth to a virgin. There are a couple problems with this prophecy...First, virgin in this verse is a mistranslation of the Hebrew word "almah", which actually means "young woman". A young woman is not necessarily a virgin. "Bethulah" would have been the correct word to use if the author meant virgin. Second, nowhere in the New Testament is Jesus referred to as Immanuel.

Isaiah 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

Damascus is still inhabited today with over a million people, and hardly a ruinous heap.

Isaiah 19:4-5 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts. And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.

The river mentioned here is the Nile. The Nile is still one of Egypt's greatest natural resource.

Isaiah 19:18 In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.

The Canaanite language has never been spoken in Egypt, and is now an extinct.

Isaiah 52:1 Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

There are uncircumcised people living in Jerusalem even today.

Ezekiel 29:10-11 Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia. No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.

Never in its long history has Egypt ever been uninhabited for forty years.

Amos 9:15 And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.

Many times, Jews have been pulled up out of their land. The ownership of their land is still being fought for.

Jonah 3:4 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

Nineveh was never overthrown. Why? Because God changed his mind in verse 3:10, despite what Malachi 3:6, Numbers 23:19 and Ezekiel 24:14 says about God never changing his mind.

Jonah 3:10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Zechariah 11:12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.

Christians say that this prophecy is was fulfilled when Judas received 30 pieces of silver for betraying Jesus. Matthew 27:9 recites this verse, but incorrectly credits Jeremiah with the prophecy.

Matthew 1:22-23 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Again, Jesus is never referred to as Emmanuel (Immanuel).

Matthew 2:23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

Nowhere in the Old Testament is such a prophecy found, so how could such a one be fulfilled?

Matthew 12:5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?

There is no passage in the Old Testament that can be attributed to what Jesus is saying here.

Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Jesus states that all the signs marking the end of the world in Matthew 24 would be fulfilled before his generation ended. That generation ended 2000 years ago, and the world has not come to an end, neither has all those signs been fulfilled.

Matthew 27:9 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value.

This prophecy was never spoken by Jeremiah.

Matthew 26:64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Jesus tells the high priest that he would see his second coming. The high priest is long dead, and Jesus hasn't returned yet.

Throughout the New Testament, the end of the world is prophesied as being very near, at hand, to be witnessed by those living at the time. Paul often told the people he preached to that they would be witnesses to Jesus' second coming. They are all long gone.

Let me face your points

The bible never condemned slavery but just regulated it. Show me just one verse in the bible that condemns slavery. I am 100% sure that you wont find it.

Bethulah means virgin and thats the word used in the bible to portray virgin.
This is long. Will need some time to respond grin grin. How's work?

The mistake you're making is that you're looking at sexual intercourse as purely for procreation, which isn't so. Sex is to be enjoyed and if a human enjoys that sex with someone of the same sex and both are consenting adults and they aren't hurting anyone in the process, then, it's not wrong. Now tell me which part of this write up is negated by empathy.
Humans are hedonists in nature.
You see Dr Catfish, my problem is you standing for homosexuality as being wrong and then bashing incest and bestiality as being wrong. Incest can happen between two consenting adults. I posted a picture earlier of a mother who got pregnant by her own son. They are two consenting adults. We haven't been able to prove that Animals can give consent to sex but I can stick my head that they can. Trust me, I know what I have seen (in videos). So if we see one as normal, why don't we see the others? After all, consent is all that matters right?

why should they be "kept separate"?

you're pulling improbable hypothetical scenarios to somehow justify logically your being against homosexuality

and to even take you up on this hypothesis, a gay guy can go to doctor, deposit sperm, a lesbian can come to the same doctor and receive the sperm

they don't need to meet at all, they're still separate aren't they?

As for me if you are homosexual. I can be your friend just dont come near me with any intent
of doing anything gay
Exactly. My point is, once we start seeing this as normal, very soon, incest will be seen as normal and so on. I don't discriminate them, I don't hate them at all.

Sorry to burst your bubble bros but the bible is not all you claim it is.

So many biblical prophecies have failed and fallen flat on their faces. I cant start mentioning them here

The messianic prophecies of jesus are very ambiguous and do not in any way point to Jesus. The most popular prophecy of Jesus being born of a virgin has been widely misinterpreted by xtians. The hebrew word in the prophecy was alma which means young woman, if the prophecy meant virgin then the word bethulah would hav been used.

The bible has faded out of modern western moral compass. So many things that were accepted as normal by the bible like slavery, misogyny etc have been debunked by secular humanists and have been eventually banned, in this case the bible was clearly outpaced by human morality.

The bible isnt scientifically accurate in any way
It claims diseases are caused by demons instead of pathogens
It claims the world is flat - a claim that has been debunked a long time ago
It claims the world has a firmament and the sun and the stars are in the firmament and even claims in the book of revelation that the stars will fall to the earth - something that is purely laughable from an astronomical point of view

There are uncountable unscientific claims in the bible.

Modern archaeology disproves the bible in so many ways. The flood story, the six day creation etc have been proven to be impossible by modern science

Your bible fails the test of a universally acclaimed word of god.
Job 26:7 (on the earth hanging on nothing)
Isaiah 40:22 (on the shape of the earth)
Gal 3: 26:28 (on slavery and misogyny)
As for your "virgin" point. Alma means young woman but can also be used to describe a virgin as all young unmarried maidens where believed to be virgins. And it might surprise you to know that when Jewish rabbis started translating the Hebrew texts into Greek, they translated the word alma into "parthenos" which is the Greek word for virgin. This was 200 years before the birth of Jesus and these people didn't even believe in a virgin birth.

From the christian perspective, out of 12, 1 faulted. There will always be a Judas. Excellent - let us put this at about 9%

Now from your "logical" perspective, if I bring up my child properly, chances are, he will not end up to be a nuisance to the society. That is why parents take their time to train their children, if not, why bother? Chances is the keyword. Like i said above. "I am not trying to say what your child will or wont become i am just trying to use some rough statistics to back up my point" Therell always be a chance that your child will become a nuisance to the society. Like i said above. 9% there can be a 9% chance your child will be a nuisance. And that small probability may become a reality no matter how well you train the child. Remember external factors also apple friends, neighbours, media, popular culture etc

So let me ask you sir, if your child grows up to be a thief, what will u do? - GIve proper Counsel...i wont force him/her to be what he doesnt want to be. After the counsel amd if the child decides to be a thief. Ill allow it even though i wont be happy inside but the love i have for my child will still be there.

know that rebellion is the product of coercion
But do you agree with me that if we all decide to see stealing as normal, that 9% will increase drastically?

I for one do not understand all the hypocritical gut-wrenching by religionists over the matter of homosexuality. It has been with us since the dawn of civilisation, the poems and philosophy of Plato as far back as 427BCE gave us the expression of “Greek principles” used to describe male homosexuality. History tells us that the Athenian Socrates favoured young teenagers and as for female homosexuality, we have to come forward in time to around 6BCE around when Jesus of Nazareth was born and journey to the Greek island of Lesbos where the poetess Sappho lived with a group of young girls in her care and extolled her love of young women.

What consenting adults get up to on their own dime should not concern religionists but I am not condoning incest, If that story is true then the mother in that instance is simply unconscionable and the law should be enforced.
So why support homosexuality but bash incest?

we shouldn't mix the two dog to dog and human to dog
