First of all FTSE and S&P put Nigeria on frontier status which is far lower than where we were before so it is a downgrade you can't make this up, in 2015 & 2016 we were classed as an emerging economy just like India, but now we are ranked the same way as Sierra Leone and you are celebrating it is as an achievement, you want to cleverly dodge the fact that we have dropped from our ranking in 2015. Bro you don't think.
Also on investment in a project my logic is clear it is just that you are afraid of admitting it because it will destroy you propaganda games. Investing in a project means putting funds for the needs of the project. Now I want you to be sincere with me will they not procure offshore rigs and FPSOs for the project? If yes are those produced in Nigeria or in Holland and Singapore? And would they not be paid for from the $1b investment? If yes would the money be in Nigeria or in Holland or Singapore? The subsea trees and piping equipments from Schlumberger and Halliburton to support the off ore rigs and FPSOs will they be produced in Nigeria? Clearly No because we don't have the facilities to produce that. Clearly they would be paid for in that $1b investment. From experience FPSO and oil rigs would consume almost 40% of the project cost that money is not entering Nigeria. Again a further 25% goes into the subsea trees. The rest would be for local content contractors who would do some small ancillary projects like mooring equipments and pipe laying. I also forgot undersea divers and subsea welding is also outsourced from abroad and that would take 5 - 10% of the project cost. So what actually comes to Nigeria from that $1b is less than 20%.

All these rant because of the bitter truth, Lolz. Nigeria has never been classified as emerging economy or market in an official stock market classification in that period. Don't fight facts, use them.
