So on what basis do we judge the boko haram terrorist and exonerate the people of Israel?
On the basis that the two actions are not the same. This is back to square 1. One listened to God, one probably listens to god. If you signed your signature on a cheque book, it would be cool, if i signed your signature on a cheque book, it would be forgery and criminal.

If you can prove it.
And I don't mean with a fake medical report.
You have to bring verifiable evidence(confirmed by multiple unbiased party) that the victim had aids and that he got cured. Only then would your story be considered true.
Hold on, you were the one who said 1 Receives MIRACULOUS Healing And Only That One Steps Out.
THEREFORE COINCIDENCE.
To which i said IF someone coincidentally gets healed of full blown AIDS. This is following your statement that evn if 1 person is healed out of 100 persons, it is a coincidence. What problem do you have with that one person's healing? what's your exact grouse? i am not understanding you oh.

Christianity Etc › Re: Jesus is coming soon. This thread is for faithful watchmen by Image123(m): 1:42am On Jan 13, 2017
MrPresident1:
Image123, questions for you

1, Who is the son of perdition?
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Eschatology deals with the study of last day events, it is not my forte or interest as such. Nevertheless, i am not ignorant or naive about it. The son of perdition is the Antichrist himself, who according to the above scriptures will oppose and exalt himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. He is not yet manifest/revealed. There is no such person yet historically in our time.

2, What is the Falling Away?
The verse doesn't say but it suggests/infers some sort of FALLING or backsliding, and the falling is obviously away. Many have opined that the church or a bulk of the church would at some point fall away or backslide. Jesus Himself asked if He would find FAITH at His coming.

3, What is the Iron?
i believe you are referring to Daniel/Nebuchadnezzar's vision.
Dan 2:32 This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,
Dan 2:33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
Dan 2:34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and broke them to pieces.
Dan 2:38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.
Dan 2:39 And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.
Dan 2:40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

If i remember my studies well, the kingdom of Babylon is the head of Gold as written. After that kingdom came another world Kingdom which were the Medes and persian Kingdom. Assyrians OR SO(Greecians maybe i do not really recall that) are brass, then after them came the Romans. The Roman Empire are the Iron.

4, What is the Clay?
Clay is Aluminium Silicate, lol. Clay is a soft part, a weakened part. It is a mixture. The world rulers became a mixture of strong and weak, iron and clay, not just one country.
Dan 2:41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.
Dan 2:42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
Dan 2:43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

There you have it, hope am getting prize for this. cheesy

5, Name one concrete attempt to mix these two ideologies that you have noticed?
They've been trying to mix since forever, the UN, G7, G8, ABC20, they are all jokers till Jesus comes.

6, When is the end of the attempt to mix these two ideologies?
Jesus'coming. There'll be no one obvious strong kingdom till He comes.
Dan 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

7, Do you agree that we are in the period of Iron and Clay?
That's like General Knowledge i suppose.

8, When will this time of Iron and Clay end?
You asked already i think, when Jesus comes which is not 20th of January 2017.

9, Identify specific great leaders of Gold, Silver, Brass, Iron and Clay...
i already gave direct clues.

10, How long did Babylon the kingdom of Gold last?

Can anyone help Image123 to answer these questions?

GoodMuyis, Gboyee4fun, Ishilove, KingEbukasblog, Eniholar, Felixomor, OLAADEGBU, JOAGBAJE, Scholar8200, Martinez19,

i don't recall, it ended during the time of Daniel though.

The consequence are the same. In fact, I think the ones in the bible were worse. Islamic terrorists have never exterminated a whole country, the ones hired by the Christian god have
Again, it has been established and is clear enough that Christians are not allowed.Evidently,it is frowned upon now whoever may do it. Also, the mode of operation is not the same like the OP assumed or estimated.
See it this way : Action 1 is breaking a glass cup. Reaction from you if an elderly or weak person did action 1 would likely be different to if a young or careless person did the same action. Same action, same you, different response. You're an hypocrite i suppose.
Action 2 is detaining a thief for 3months. If you did action 2, you would probably be prosecuted as a criminal but if the police station did the same action, they'd be commended. Same action, same thief.
Point is that even when you think the actions are the same, the consequences and reactions are not necessarily the same, that's the reality of life. Life is not a set of equations or a physics laboratory.

The experiment goes like this, next time you have a physically visible injury (I insist on visible because most so called healings are just placebo effects that alter our mental state, if its visible no matter how well you feel the cut would still be there, your altered mind has little effect on the physical) , like a cut on your skin, a burn e.t.c you should pray to God to heal you. If prayer really worked you should be healed in a matter of minutes or atmost an hour.
But many reading this already know the prayer won't work and might already be coming up with these excuses

Faith: If it doesn't work most might come up with the excuse that they don't have enough faith, yet Jesus said that if only you possess faith as small as a mustard seed you should be able to move mountains, so that much faith shouldn't be required for a simple injury.

Testing God: Again most might come up with the excuse that they are testing God, but again this would be wrong, you have an injury and you're in pain, you ask your heavenly father to heal you. How is this testing God?

God has his own time:,Another excuse might be that God takes his time, but again this is just another attempt to deny the obvious, why should God wait that long to heal you of something that is presently causing you pain?

You can't deny the obvious, the prayer won't work because no one is answering them.

The Templeton foundation has even carried out research on prayers, and found them even detrimental to the health of sick patients.
This is most ignorant on what the meaning of healing is, healing is not necessarily a miracle. What sort of placebo effect restored my failing eyesight after prayer, or healed a woman i know who was blind already, deteriorated eyesight who only knew someone is coming but didn't know who. Went for Bonnke crusade and came back seeing since about 14years ago. Or the fellow with one leg shorter than the other and the legs were made same after prayer. i like such a placebo effect, i wish for more of it. The kind that stopped an operation of over a million naira and the man is okay till date since last year. Please OP, you will be more useful to your generation if you could provide this ordinary placebo effect instead of eternal grumblings on nairaland.

Stop disgracing yourself shamelessly on the www. No Christian is allowed by God to do what was done in the Old Testament as we are not under that dispensation. That aside, what was done then is far different from the callousness and criminality of terrorism carried out under masks and in hiding.
I'd list them for you if your brain fails to still process. Israelites didn't take laws into their own hands to kill but it was the work of soldiers. Soldiers didn't go about killing all gentiles or unbelievers. They meted out judgement on the inhabitants of Canaan whose cup of iniquity was full, according to God. They didn't go blowing themselves up in Babylon or Egypt or Assyria or Rome. They didn't kill in secret or hide under masks looking for virgins in paradise. Life was easy for them, they didn't take it personal or tie the world to their chest like you. They didn't abuse or misuse power like you would if given the chance. You and other atheist are potential terrorists and hazards, only that you lack opportunity or platform. I'm sure you would stop prayers and worship if you could, find some diligent work to waste your frustrations on.

Most likely not. Now imagine moses showing up and killing all your family, burning your homes and telling you God sent him. Does that not sound like shekau to u? How did you expect those people killed to leave their religion and follow moses? Why are you not asking christians in the north to also leave their religion and follow Boko haram? So their sin was not worshipping the God of moses. You most be a very heartless fellow to even defend such wickedness. You see what I keep saying? You christians are no different from muslims, you all support wickedness
There is NO ACCIDENT with God. God allowed everyone to be born in their needed time and generation, there is nothing to imagine there. Nonetheless, there were non Jews that actually served God and had His respect like Job, Melchizedek, Nebuchadnezzar, Joseph's Pharaoh and many proselytes. All humans have sinned and come short of God's glory, deserving His judgement, so if you like live in 3020AD, a sinner will go to hell fire. If you died as an infant or were never born, it would be better for you, na so Bible talk am. Stop sobbing already and get over the facts, or better still, REPENT.
