Haba, of course not. The context of this passage was Paul telling the Galatians to not be carried away by the Jews of the Circumcision Party. These Jews were saying unless the new believers were circumcized and observed the Law of Moses, they were not yet believers. So Paul stepped in to affirm that Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male or female- we have all been elevated to the same level of being God's children because of our faith in Jesus Christ. Before, Gentiles like you and I couldn't be priests, now we can and we are. Why can't that now relate to males and females?

Now, let's say you still disagree. Is there a precedence of female leaders in the Bible? Was there Maryam, was there Deborah, was there Esther? In fact, God explicitly said in Micah 6:4 that he sent Moses, Aaron [b] and Maryam[/] to [b]lead[/] Israel out of captivity. Just check that verse.

I really believe that those commands by Paul were time and culture specific. It was just like the command to Timothy to drink alcohol for his illness. Do we do that today? No. So, this issue of women not leading is misguided at best and due to male ego at worst. Either way, it's wrong.

Queen Esther and Deborah you cited were not pastors in church though. The Bible is quite clear on female PASTORS. There are a thousand and other spiritual things that spiritual women can do in the Body of Christ. For one, defaulters won't be rewarded for the "mighty works in His name". On going to hell, i don't know but i don't think being pastor sends people to hell. Not every disobedience sends one to hell fire.

Christians believe the Bible primarily. There's no such thing in the Bible. The world cannot end without the rapture, the great tribulation and the millennial reign of Christ on earth. And nobody knows the time of the Rapture which will kick-start the other events.

We are already living in a world where oil would soon become less important. We better adapt fast.

The future where oil has little value is very far away. Power/energy all over the world is still VERY oil dependent and will remain so for long. Alternative energy is still at experimental and negligible levels.

i really don't think Oyedepo is ashamed of his statement. It's a question of context and timing. Oyedepo didn't tell people to go around killing boko haram members, it's a self defense thing. You can be sure other pastors like Kumuyi, Adeboye, the pope and even your pastor practice it even if they don't say it. They all have security in place and would not watch helplessly if attacked. Christ is not against self defense against criminal elements and senseless terrorists. If you can't defend, you run. There's nothing holy about being killed for nothing.
