Don't be an ediot.

All the arms bought are being handed to boko haram.

Buhari is using this facade to both hurt down his enemies and at the same time weaken the army.

Buhari is very much afraid of a strong army and ge is also pushing for paid amnesty for Boko haram.

All these nonsense probes are mere distractions away from his failed presidency.
Oh, we have a strong army you imply?

Some so called employed nigerians are more vulnerable than many students and many unemployed graduates. I was never vulnerable when i was an unemployed person for instance, i've never been. In fact there are many so called employed people who you will just look at and almost be crying for them because of the slavery they are in.

the target is not achievable. terrorism can't be defeated within a shot time especially when the group had four years to grow. I'm sure even PMB knows that. the purpose of the target is not to bring a complete end to the activity of that insurgents by the end of the year but to serve as a goal based on which percentage performance can be calculated.

people in sales will understand what I mean. if you do 80% of your sales target for a year you've done well. you can now build on that performance cos the target for the next year will even be higher. if you do 50% then you know you have to work hard and improve.

the target is not to put an end to terrorism but a just a timeline based on which performance can be measured. e.g how many local governments were under the control of insurgents before? how many are still under their control right now? (one I think). how often do we have incidence of bomb blasts and BH attacks now? what was the rate before?
Nice one. Note though that the target is to stop boko haram occupying Nigerian territory as its own, not to eradicate bombs. That one is more complex, though with God's help it can be done. The FG is not expecting bombs to stop by the end of the year, they are expecting all of Nigerian territory to have been reclaimed from boko haram includng Sambissa, and boko haram highly subdued and left with only soft target attacks.

Rubbish, it is just six months. Too early to say all this rubbish, especially against the background that GEJ left Nigeria in SHAMBLES as at May 29, 2015.
1. There is a level of continuity in government, nobody says any government does not do ANYTHING good. The question is, did they do ENOUGH, especially with the resources available. Am sure you do not want good things to be scrapped/cancelled for ntothing.
2. GEJ government scammed the country with the very huge subsidy they agreed to pay. We are still paying their debts and renegotiations have to be legally done, which is ongoing. Subsidy has always been since the 80s, it is the figures in the past 5years that have been unbelievable.
3. The Professor has a right to freedom of speech, he is not the President, and the President's mandate is 4years AT LEAST, not 6 months. Within that six months, we have bought fuel nationwide for 87naira/litre for at least 3 of the months, this was a feat that was a mirage and rocket science under GEJ.
4. Who are thise who claimed GEJ went to Chad to plan attacks who visited Chad?
5. The past government agricultural policies yielded little overhyped dividends. Nigeria is not close to feeding itself talkless of exporting as should be the touted case. Our people still have vested interest in buying foreign agricultural things compared to local so what is the jubilation about?
6. WHo has dumped TSA? TSA is not GEJ or NOI's invention, it is from IMF. NOI introduced it but never implemented it. Buhari made sure it was implemented in less than 6months. He's tried to make refineries work in short time too but that one backfired, but at least he tried. If it worked, you will claim it is GEJ's achievement.
7. \Your talk about bboko haram reclaiming LGAs is a blatant lie conjured from your pocket.
8. Your lie about the Presidential fleet shows your irredeemable ignorance, i would not help you further, at least not now. More than half of the money spent was reported in the same article to be GEJ's debts, you are a shameless liar.

The subsidy ARRANGEMENT under GEJ was a scam, a huge corrupt thievery scam. The contracts have to be renegotiated legally. These are contracts and agreement, we are not in military era where one person can just make decision and go. Signed agreements have to be honored until they can be changed, that is ongoing.

There has always been subsidy since the 80s. It is the way the past government shrouded it in secrecy and termed it CABALS that had everyone not in government wondering what the subsidy arrangement was all about, coupled with the fact rhat the amount in the budget skyrocketted during the GEJ era. So, Buhari had to get into government and see the prevalent terms and conditions before answering questions fully on what to do with subsidy.

The December 2015 deadline by the president Buhari to end Boko Haram is already staring in our face unfortunately the bombs are still blowing. You. think we are winning this fight and the december deadline is realistic?
Of course the deadline is very possible. The goal is to stop/eradicate boko haram occupying Nigerian territory as its own, not stop bombs. The President has reiterated that a couple of times. He said it in the Aljazeera interview and i think when he was interviewed in France.

If you agree the senate has power to approve the payment of the debt, you can't on the same breath deny them the right to ask questions About it.
You can't defend the long run implication of this, if the minister of the federation never appear before the senate.
The plans you say are on the dailies are not before the senate properly so called. So don't claim that he has ever intimated the senate on this so called plans.
The bottom line is that once u agree to take a portfolio, you inherit the privileges n liabilities that comes with it.
You don't get it. From time to time, the President can appear before anybody as occasion warrants, or send a representative. The context and purpose of this particular case is what is laughable and ludicrous, not the instance of the President's appearance. It's childish and foolish of the Senate to be asking what is been done about fuel scarcity, they already know what is been done. In fact, they are the ones we should be asking. It's protocol and Constitution for them to also approve,it's not a plea or help they are offering, it's balance and 'synergy'. It is not news that government pays subsidy. It's not news that not enough was budgeted for subsidy, hence the need for a supplementary budget.

So once the president earmarks the money, the senate should approve it without asking question.
What then is their duties?
if they thought it fit not to approve until they hear from the minister in charge on the long term plan to curb this menace, is it out of place?
Maybe you still don't see that we are still rotating round the circumference of subsidy, what other plan do we have? That's why u appoint a minister, it's not just an office, it's a responsibility.
They are asking about plans to address the fuel scarcity, what other plans should there be than to pay up the debts. Shouldn't that be the start? If subsidy is removed tonight, does that end the scarcity? Of course no. The complain of the marketers is that they are owed. The Senate cannot think it fit not to pay their debts, it's irrational to think such. The other plan is very clear and visible on the dailies; there's ongoing renegotiation and reduction of the subsidy claims which is obviously not auguring well with the marketers, hence the sabotage. There's attempts to make refineries come alive both private and government owned. This will reduce import and subsidy. There was televised rebidding just last week or so for oil swap and import arrangements.

anything the senate will do to correct the situation shouldn't involve summoning pmb, that's How u want us to go as a nation.
It is not an excuse, it is the fact. The Presidency has long approved that over 400billion be paid for the subsidy as that's the purported cause of scarcities by marketers. The Senate is to approve that, they met today, I dunno if they approved it. What we are hearing is opinion poll on whether to summon President. Who is deceiving who?

I hope you have seen the red light at the end of ur tunnel.
we will continue to suffer it until we start looking dispassionately at our leaders.
There's nothing highhanded about the matter. What is the point of summoning him? Is it a test of humility, obedience or righteousness? Is it a show of power, control, ridicule or frustration? Anyone that reads the news knows already where the buck presently lies. The money to be paid is to be approved by the Senate. The NNPC has been openly and daily talking about the scarcity and the volume they dispense. It's not like Diezani time when nobody knew what was going on.
Politics › Re: Senate Asks Nigerians If They Should Invite Buhari Over The Fuel Scarcity (Pic) by Image123(m): 5:16pm On Nov 24, 2015
For what? The plans to address scarcity is common knowledge. The FG has asked for supplementary budget from which over 400billion naira is to be paid for subsidy and the Senate is to approve that. Also open bidding was recently done by NNPC for those involved in our crude to get the most capable and better deals after the cancelled swaps. This is unlike when we didn't know what Diezani and NOI were doing and they didn't even care.

That's why it is FAITH duh, believing is seeing. It's like asking why Water must be made of hydrogen and oxygen molecules or why numbers must follow from units to tens to hundreds. Fact is, christianity is not just about your brains or science, it is supernatural, extraordinary and miraculous. When you expunge the supernatural, you're just deceiving yourself.

ok
Not just okay, wannabe atheist apologists should stop throwing in fallacies and ignorant assumptions.

Read his question again, this time, carefully and answer accordingly.
After reading carefully again, it is apt to restate that the OP was baseless and unfounded yet again in his accusations and conclusions. No where does the Bible state that God did not know anything. There is no excusing God, rather we should see the obvious consequences and realities that follow.

huh did they Op say anything about what determines where one is born? Pls read the question again. Ok, Ask and it shall be given, seek and you shall find, knock and .... this is a quote from Koran right? So what did the bible say about providing if we ask? that we will suffer first?
You certainly didn't miss the OP drooling about Sweden, Denmark, Finland and about Nigeria was recently said to be the worst place to be born in. He swallowed that by faith, it didn't mix with faith in you and simply disappeared from your retention? A fair study of the Bible will NEVER arrive at such simplistic conclusion that God provides all needs if we just ask. Reading one verse or a couple verses out of thousands of verses to conclude is not a good study practice. Is that the way you study the law, or your books, or contract papers or whatever it is you've ever studied?

Ohh, Noah didnt take ay animal into the ark? Just hearing this for the first time. Pls what was in the ark for forty days and forty night.
Science talked about global flood that destroyed every human on earth except 8 people... ple i need the link to this info esap
Noah didn't carry any animal into the ark in the sense that he wasn't the one who had to organise or gather the animals, they came to him supernaturally. That's what i mean.
Gen 6:20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.

Read me well, i didn't say that science talked about Noah's flood. Noah's flood didn't happen many millions of years ago. The OP doubted the possibility of global floods, i simply told him to ask geologists about such possibility.

this is not a prove of God.
Do you believe in an islamic terrorist when they say Allah had instructed them to kill all infidel? or, does when my grandfather say Amadioha provided food for him and his family mean that Amadioha is a proof of God?
i do not intend to prove God to you, that is your cup of gutter water. The OP asked "Why do you actually believe in God? is it because you genuinely believe that God exists". That is the statement i replied to.

Will you be happier if you trek from Lagos to abuja rather enter flight? So if you think science has not helped the world... what has your God done for the world? what exactly is his function as our creator?
The ignorant and fallacious claim that believing in Jehovah God and His Christ, we would not be able to do research on things that we don't understand like HIV, homosexuality, small pox etc and try to come to reasonable conclusions is what i countered. Belief in God does not stop true science and knowledge. It only applies some regulations. Atheism isn't science BTW, many of the best scientists ever till date are theists.
Also, fact remains that science has not given us more peace or happiness or forgiveness or love or hope or joy. You would not believe me if i told you God's functions, but i will tell you two as i am magnanimous. One, God created you, two, God will take you to heaven or hell after this life.

Iron is iron and exhibits the properties of Iron presumably due to the configuration of protons neutrons and electrons in it's atom. If you change the configuration of an atom, e.g. if you add 3 protons and three electrons to the atoms of Iron, and throw in 5 extra neutrons too, strangely the Iron will stop behaving like Iron but starts reacting instead like Copper. Where did the Iron Go?

I'm trying to demonstrate the difference between the essential being of a thing and it's states of being.

An angry man is just a state of being. You cannot define the man by his anger. Tomorrow you may see him and he is calm. What happened to the angry man? The anger was not an essential part of his being. It was merely a state he was passing through.

What is the ontological category of something that is subject to change vis a vis something that is adamant?
