Now him and 'disemployed' members of SureP, TAN, friends of Goodluck and other such suspicious bodies have joined hands with the ticking time bomb mass of unemployed youths to spread hate and destabilization against the current government. |

If Falake can prove that he had asked both the party and INEC to remove him as running mate for Bella and they refused, PDP will be able to have the election cancelled because Bella can't run for an election without a willing running mate.
Some canals are trying to cheat Falake and it mustn't be allowed Actually, they are helping Faleke. He should take his half bread. If he's declared winner, the PDP will go to court and remove him on the same grounds Taraba governor is being removed. He didn't participate in the primaries and so cannot be governor. |

TonyeBarcanista: Can you quote the section of the constitution them empowers a non-election participant like Bello to benefit from a contest technically won by Audu/Faleke?
APC decision will be upturned in court! Fact! The circumstances of the election were not contained in the Constitution. However, the electoral laws already disqualify Faleke as he didn't participate in any inec approved primaries. Bello did and came second. Faleke has no case. Audu should go to court and remain there. |

Nnamdi is a criminal in Nigeria because of the crime of insurrection and treason. |

Nigeria is not at peace and can never be, I can only defend the unity and the said peace when Mr Okoro from the east need the same Jamb score with Mr Mohammed to go the university..... Fact is this.... We are different people, different beliefs and ideology, keep us as a nation is stupidity at the highest level.
One tool they used in keeping this nation as one country was abolishing history in schools.... If unadulterated history still exist in schools .... You will never speak of unity.... Where is the unity when over 30,000 igbos were killed, where is the unity when igbo were murdered cos the inception of sharia law.... Where are the unity when Igbo people were killed because of Mohammed movie in the western world..... Where was the unity when Igbo were killed in jos ......
Oga Nigeria died as a nation in 1966 after the black September.
Imagine it this was, I stay in same house with you.... We contribute to be together, I told you am done, I want to leave alone .... You insist I must live with you or I die .... Must I live with you.... Even at my own cost?..... This is just it..... I pray that the north can find oil miraculously at the Chad basin so they can live on their own .... Though its impossible to find oil there according to my science.
Speaking of nationality... I have dual citizenship and as such I can ditch any the day i so desire, I can tell you that mine was a choice irrespective that it has nothing to do with what we are saying here.
I for a person hate Nnamdi kalu style but I dare Nigeria government to call for a referendum at the south-east .... You will be shock in the result.... Then you will know that even the Yoruba want out too...

So Bello has to beg Faleke. Faleke shouldn't be silly, he didn't participate in any primaries. That's the exact ground on which the Taraba governor is being removed. |

It's the same scenario with the current taraba governor. He allegedly didn't participate in an inec approved primary that's why he's in trouble. It's only commonsense that they field someone who took part in the primaries,it's not cabal,it's brain work and law. |

Now tell me why and how will a young man not want to involve in yahoo + uno I mean now so that they can live large like those who steal money. Banning is not an option they should create a unit where you can register as a blogger then read and digest the not to be violated rules and make some money to feed your family. The bill is not about banning social media or blogging. The government even lacks the ability and infrastructure to do that. The bill is about making people accountable and responsible for what they say or share. It affects everybody including government. If you share information or break news, you should be able to prove it or refer or trace it. |

flamingREED: OKAY. This be my first political post. In what advanced nation of the world, where people have IQ's higher than ours and are more capable of critical thinking, is such a law in force? Pray tell. In what obvious ways of late has propaganda thwarted a just cause of governance? Why exactly is the government afraid of propaganda? Okay, I know propaganda and rumours are unhealthy, but how'bout preempting an irrational move by the powers that be? Must everyone think the government is right? Will we still be able to voice-0ut our suspicions and perceived hidden motives of government actions? And what if indeed the government conceives some malicious intent, or altogether is caught red-handed with notoriety, will we still publish such against it? If the government denies the truth, can I fight her judiciary? Do you see then how that speaking the truth could be deathly under the auspices of such a law? But doubting, analysing, hypothsizing, criticisms, experimenting, confutations and press-rebutals are the inalienable rights of every people who must choose the manner/method of the government under which they live. Exactly why we need such laws, others think critically than we do on the average, like you've said. We don't have what it takes to meet up with advanced nations, do we? i don't think the government is afraid, the bill if passed is not just for government but for every individual, for or against the government. It discourages lies, meaning the government and the citizens will both be discouraged from lying. Like they say, truth is bitter, i'm becoming convinced it is a small price to pay for truth. A nation founded in falsehood in the name of freedom is not the dream. People have fought government, big corporations and powerful people in courts and won, yes, in this country. |

If the law permits any citizen on trial for certain offences to be granted bail, so should it be.
This is what we have to bear with in deference to democracy.
Some of us made efforts in our little capacities to see the last government removed for bad management. We will also not be pleased to have an autocratic replacement! Nnamdi is not a normal person, normal laws do not apply to his likes Shekau and co. We shouldn't bear with bull crap in the name of democracy. We cannot copy everything from A to Z from the West as we do not have the same conditions, problems or cultures. |

princejayboss: Oga I don't know if most of you guy think with your ass... Been part of the state of Nigeria is and should be solely a choice by the people of the region.... How can you force people to be with you ... It's one Nigeria or die.... What are the rest afraid of?
I will never solicit to Nnamdi kalu style .... One thing he was able to do was to awaken the spirit of the people in the region.... Since 1970 to date nobody have seen such a unity among igbo people.
I can be in one country with a Yoruba man but I don't want to be in same country with an Hausa man.. .... I can never forgive them for using cos video of Muhammad in the west to burn a church where three of my family lost their lives....
One day I will pay them in a good coin You've got to be kidding me or not thinking at all. Nationality is not by choice. You don't just choose to be a Briton or American or Canadian, there are terms and conditions. Nnamdi for instance has dual citizenship, we are told. He did not choose it, he met laid down rules and conditions. That's citizenship. Now, it's not by force for him to live in Nigeria, but he should not claim Nigeria's land or territory as his. I'm sure you recognise the map of Nigeria and its territorial borders. Anyone who does not want to live in Nigeria should go buy land elsewhere and live there, simples. Unity and Peace is worth holding on to and defending, i guess you do not understand the implications of a lack of unity and peace. Nigeria remains a nation BOUND in freedom, peace and unity. We will defend that unity as pledged from childhood till tomorrow, that is righteous thing to do. Nnamdi did not awaken any spirit, he has only taken advantage of the unfortunate situations on ground, the mass unemployment, the victory of the North in the last elections, and some PDP members underground support for the destabilization of the country. Your revenge story and mission is not tenable enough to disturb the peace and unity of Nigeria. Go find solace in churc, mosque or in the arms of something/one you love. Venting revenge, anger and frustration on everybody cannot undo the past. |

He was arrested 14/10/2015 Granted Bail 19/10/2015 Met conditions of bail 20/10/2015 Refused bail by DSS 20/10/2015 Taken to court on 23/11/2015 DSS applies to discontinue lesser case of criminal conspiracy, intimidation and belonging to unlawful society; and charge him with a higher charge of funding terrorism after stumbling on evidences. Magistrate absent from court on 01/12/2015. The media alleged his father died. What an excuse. Next court sitting may be 14/12/2015
I have chronicled the events as I understand them. I do not see seriousness in the handling of this case by the judiciary members involved. The FG should have called the heads to order. His case has become an issue of national importance with an attendant risk of escalation. It took Yusuf's death in custody for Bh, a small group to emerge and grow into a monster.
He should be given a prompt trial. If guilty he should dance to the slow blues. If innocent, he should be allowed to ho back to his wife and family! He's guilty, although the courts will have to decide that at some point. He cannot and should not be allowed to escape or be bailed. just like dasuki, bail is not for this kind of person. Will you advice Shekau is bailed if caught? No one can guarantee he will not escape or be hard to get. The leader of ISIS was in America or so and allowed human rights to preach his stuff in prison. They let him go, today he is preaching to those who shouldn't bhear him. He would have been better off dead or in life imprisonment. So it can work or fail both ways. Boko haram didn't spread because of Yusuf's death, they only hung to that frail excuse. Boko Haram spread due to negligence on the part of the government, no monitoring or leash, and of cause years of decay in the north, infrastructure anf education wise. Many people have such unserious trials in Nigeria, Nnamdi's is not a first. He should bear with the zoo's conditions. Actually, i think the government is buying time not certain what exactly to do with him. |

My 2 cents! Ignoring him is not a better way. Treating him with kidgloves is not a better way. Nnamdi has caused enough trouble already. He's in court, his case is, and should remain there. It's unfortunate already the way he's preying on jobless and 'gainlessly' employed igbo youths. |
