Firstly Gaza wasn't under a siege until November of last year that's when the siege of Gaza began. The Gaza strip was under a blockade a blockade is not an occupation. The blockade was more like a security check point to check what and who enters Gaza and you forget about 10k Palestinians cross from Gaza to work in Israel. So your point of a siege is dead on arrival
But did the hamas combatants killed Jews on occupied lands abi in Jewish lands thats the question. And did they kill combatants or civillian. The UN calls it a terror attack .

What lies has hagari spoken before?

The day Israel declares victory you lots will still doubt it.
As for Gaza's status as an occupied territory, educate yourself

https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/campaigns/2017/06/israel-occupation-50-years-of-dispossession/

As for hagari's lies, the Al-Shifa hoax and the elevator shaft deception are enough to write him off completely

Well Israel holds the Philadelphi corridors and and many others has destroyed a large network of tunnles

Many of you are asking for an update on Gaza.

Two operational divisions are still present in the area. Dozens of terrorists are being eliminated daily. Hamas is no longer functioning as a military organization; they have now devolved into guerrilla groups with hardly any rockets left, and most of their command and control capabilities are gone.

Yehiya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas, has been out of contact for many weeks, leading to speculation that he is either injured or dead.

We are continuing to search for more terrorists to eliminate and abductees to rescue.

If you’re wondering why Hamas has run out of supplies, it’s because we have taken control of their primary supply route—the Rafah area, including both the above-ground crossing and the tunnels beneath the Philadelphi Corridor.

Rafah was the key, which is why there was immense international pressure on us not to enter the area.

That's from a prominent Jew. The IDF spokes man said the same thing also

The UN itself describe October 7th a terrorist attack because the part of Israel Hamas attacked isn't occupied territories and is within the part of Israel that was partition for Israel. So no Hamas is the aggressor.
Who's the prominent jew? And the idf spokesperson?

The same hagari that has been caught in lies before?

Look, let's wait till israel declares victory and it's beyond doubt, before we affirm any such claims

The siege placed upon Gaza by israel, definitively means Gaza is occupied by israel under International Law. The attack emanated from an occupied territory, by an occupied people, against their occupier

I saw an interview with a high ranking Hamas representative recently and he said they're not in a hurry for a ceasefire and they'll not budge from their positions or their conditions for a ceasefire.....this doesn't sound like a defeated group or one on the verge of defeat
Foreign AffairsRe: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by IMEI:
A while back, I watched a documentary on Hamas and israel in which a former mossad head praised Hamas' counter-intelligence efforts against israel

The mossad head said that they used to have so much success in the past against Hamas, but now they faced difficulties due to Hamas upping its game. This shows that Hamas is well versed at countering israel's spying against it, evidenced by its regular dismantling of israeli spy networks, through identifying and execution of collaborators

That's probably why they were successful with the October 7 attacks and they've successfully outsmarted israel on this captives issue. It also explains why israle's intelligence on Hamas' number, weapons stockpiles, tunnel networks etc. are hazy. I refer to Hamas along with all the other armed factions in Gaza

Now to compare this with Iran and Hezbullah, their counter-intelligence against israel seems weak. This is understandable, because the focus of their intelligence efforts have been against Sunni countries in the region and America. This is evidenced by the primary conflicts they've busied themselves with recently, such as, Yemen, Syria, Iraq etc

This has made them open to israel's infiltration which apparently has happened and has made them exposed to hits by the israelis

Iran has started cleaning house it seems and they need to recenter their focus back to israel if they want to be effective on that front. They can gain from Hamas' experience, counter-intelligence tactics that'll help them

The reality is that unless israel's foes put aside their differences and work together for their mutual interests, America will continue to divide them and play them against each other all for israel's gain

As a sidenote:

Jubilating over the killings of leaders of quasi-military groups like Hamas and Hezbullah is stupid and that's because, groups like them are deliberately setup to withstand and adapt to rapid changes in leadership

The only time the death of any leader will be a big blow is if that leader is extra-ordinarily competent, otherwise, it'll simply be like pinball

This is true of Hamas which has had so many of its leaders killed and yet has grown ever stronger overtime

The only real success is the severe degradation of such groups, which usually only happens with active collaboration of locals and this necessitates the erosion of the popularity of such groups

Firstly Israel has said even if the war in Gaza stops they will make sure they push Hezbollah behind the litany river. Because you can not just start attacking Israel beginning from OCT 8 for almost a year then expect Israel not to do anything about it and for the war to end on your terms. They attack in solidarity with Gaza they have sacrificed their generals for an already defeated Gaza.

When was the last time a rocket flew out of Gaza? Nasrallah is presumably dead and nothing from Hamas or have they abandoned Hezbollah or they have forgotten how to make missle with sugar and water pipes

Hamas has been defeated.

They are victims because they were attacked and forced to defend themselves.

Being strong doest automatically makes you the aggressor.

It's like saying Russia is the aggressor in its war against Ukraine just because it's stronge.
As for invading Lebanon, time will tell

As for defeating Hamas, how have they done so? Have they degraded Hamas' fighting capabilities? If so, to what extent? Have they significantly killed off their fighters? If so, what's the estimated number? Have they completely secured any part of Gaza i.e. completely taken it over? Have they destroyed the tunnels? Have they recovered the captives? I could go on and on about this.

FYI, israel had very clear aims when going into Gaza. as of today, they've not announced the achievement of any of those goals

You seem to be using the launching of rockets as proof of Hamas' defeat. The reality is that since the beginning of the war, Hamas' and the other factions' volley of rockets significantly reduced and they shifted focus to guerrilla warfare, i.e. ground combat and maneuvers. What if i told you that just recently i saw a video of Hamas and Islamic Jihad firing rockets from Gaza into israel but it went underreported because the focus was on Hezbullah and Lebanon

Let me advice you, stop being desperate about Hamas' defeat, at least wait till israel officially says so and it's verified before you insist on it. I mentioned verified because the israelis have claimed many things before which turned out bogus, like their claim of being in control of Northern Gaza, only for it to be debunked to their utter humiliation

israle is an occupying power according to International Law and according to said International Law, the occupier is never the victim

Well said.

Israel won't be fighting a two front war why do you think it's attacking Hezbollah now? Because Israel considers Hamas defeated.

Israel isn't scared of a confrontation with Hezbollah backed by Iran . That may be because of the us backing. But I believe the US isn't going to put boots on ground to defend Israel.
israel has been attacking Hezbullah since the beginning, it has simply ramped it up

Hezbullah has said if the fighting in Gaza stops, it'll stop. It then goes that if israel has defeated Hamas, the fighting in Gaza will stop and Hezbullah will have no reason to continue as there'll be no need for ramping up the airstrikes. israel has intensified the bombings because Gaza is nowhere near being conquered and they know Hamas will not be defeated anytime soon, which'll mean the israelis of the north will remain displaced for the foreseeable future, with no set time for their return

The airstrikes and targeted assassinations are intended to pressure Hezbullah into backing down unconditionally, while threatening a ground invasion which they're clearly stalling on

netanyahu is in a bind, if a ceasefire in Gaza is reached, then the tit-for-tat with Hezbullah ends, but they remain in their positions a stone's throw away from northern israel. If Hezbullah ceases fire in keeping with a Gaza ceasefire, israel will have no valid reason for a ground invasion of Lebanon, the doing of which will be unpopular with all their allies

That's why they have to ramp up the pressure on Hezbullah with the battles of Gaza raging, otherwise Hezbullah will have a vantage position

Even if israel goes into Lebanon alone without US direct support, it'll be for a very limited time and they're very aware that won't be enough to achieve their aim of pushing Hezbullah back beyond the Litani river, so it'll be costly and futile

All evidence points to Hamas being alive and well in Gaza, yet you somehow see a different picture

Final point: israel being a world power and arguably the most powerful country in the region, disqualifies them being painted as victims as you're wont to do. They were victims during the holocaust because they were weak, today, they're far from weak, so this engrained victimhood won't fly

When did I insult you.

If I did I'm sorry it was stupid of me to do that. I don't remember though.
No wahala man

As for your previous comment, from netanyahu's UN speech, there's clearly someway to go

If we're to take him by his word, he'll keep on pushing the needle to the tipping point, but you should realise one thing, netanyahu banks on the US coming to their aid in an expanded war

In the case of a full war with Hezbullah, Iran will assist against israel. Note, they won't be directly involved though

israel can't sustain two fronts against Gaza and Lebanon on its own. I'm not talking airstrikes, i mean full invasions and the US has threatened, by deploying aircraft carriers as a deterrence, which has emboldened israel

As for Iran, they're trying to maintain a power balance in its competition with the sunni bloc. In a direct war with israel, they'll be weakened, which will be to the advantage of its rivals. Moreover, there's the US(west) factor they have to consider...but since Hezbullah is part of what gives Iran it's regional muscle, it will definitely assist incase of a war with israel

For all my criticisms of israel, the fact is they're one of the most technologically advanced armies on earth and one of the most powerful. They have very destructive weapons and mossad is an effective spy agency, but their ground combat capabilities aren't anything special

It isn't black and white, so when i make a point, you should know i do so within its context

- NEWS - US imposed sanctions on companies linked to IRGC and Hezbollah

The US Treasury Department (#USA) announced sanctions on four companies and nine vessels for their involvement in supplying Iranian oil and gas to #Syria and East Asia on behalf of #Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (#IRGC) and #Hezbollah.

The inclusion in the sanctions list will result in an asset freeze in the US. The agency said in a statement that "Iran continues to rely on the illicit sale of oil and liquefied natural gas by the IRGC and Hezbollah to fund its terrorist proxies and destabilizing activities."

For there to be peace in the Middle East, a major war is inevitable... probably World War 3

This israel problem in the region will only be solved when a big war is fought, because the west will inevitably fight for israel and the explosion point is quite visible

The people in the region have to brace up for any eventuality and they've been so subdued for so long that they must be willing to pay the necessary price to be free of foreign subjugation, which has mostly been for israel's gain

I know the reason Israel is committing vile atrocities is because they now see the disadvantages of disobedience of what their fore fathers did in the past of not removing all Palestinians

It already too late for them

In my opinion I have always said they should live with Palestinians peacefully side by side

But one thing is for sure learn to accommodate Israel in your heart if you can

I based my position of Israel not being an occupying country on the fact that the name Palestine was made up by Hadrian, a Roman emperor in order to wipe out all traces of Jewish history in a place originally known as Judea. That is a position supported by several scholars, it is not in the Bible. You were the one who brought up Bible matter when the argument digressed into whether books are admissible as evidence or not.
So International Law, the UN Charter, the ruling of the ICJ, the Internationally recognised borders of Palestine, International Humanitarian Law, International Human Rights Law, the records of the Bristish mandate on Palestine and the establishment of the state of israel, all don't matter because of your history lesson and personal opinion?
