I quite disagree wit ur opinion on d marriage issue. You never can tell, his breakthrough could just be hinged on him getting married. If they can both get along as friends, they will also do well in marriage.
As 4 financial stability, it would have been cool if he can get some capital from his dad 2 start up his own thing; even Dangote did it!

Trust me on dis, NOT ONE person was shortlisted that wasn't based on merit! I guess u guys do not know Prof. Julius Okojie 4rm a close range, so u can blab all u want. Hi! Itz gud u have a dream of making a 1st Class in ur chosen field. D real 1st step required is a burning desire 2 have ur dream come true & not settle 4 any other option; as in itz either a 1st Class or a 1st Class! Lol. Secondly, u don't have 2 cram ur way 2 achieve d feat cos it would surely boomerang. Get gud textbooks & read ur way through. Thirdly, apply d Pareto's principle(itz only 20% of wat u do in life dat gives u 80% of ur results) & focus real gud on those 20%; know thyself. Lastly, let ur target be making d best result in evry course & naturally u become a 1st Class Student. In other words, chase d values dat produce things & don't chase things. Wishing u d very best!

Left 2 me, I'd suggest u register 4 gre & toefl, so as 2 secure admission in one of d top 25 schools in USA, dis year; d earlier u get a phd, d better 4u. No one can really tell how long dis scheme would last. 4 every other 1st Class graduates in d room, always remember dat making a 1st Class is not an end in itself but a means 2 an end. Just got 2 know about this thread & itz really exciting 2 see like-minds getting along well.
I was fortunate 2b wit Prof. Okogie sometimes last week & he clearly stated dat d selection process was 30% 4rm SSCE result & 70% 4rm d apt test. D list submitted 2d presidency comprised 25% on merit list(as in, best 25 scores) & 75% based on quota system(2 best 4rm each state). I guess everything shud have been sorted out if not dat d Presidency rejected d list & sed no sentiments shud be used in d selection process. I must confess, dis has increased my admiration 4d president; standing by his words.
From d 1st list submitted, I was told about 60% were 4rm d South West & South South, even wit d quota system used. I can only imagine how many percentage would come from same region wit d President's stance.

I hardly make a comment on nairaland cos of d barrage of insults that flow in the forum. I was brought up to have regards for my elders and regardless of how good I perceive them, I choose my words carefully when addressing them. The fact that I have a different perspective to an issue, should not make me resort to insulting a personality. I once read from a zig ziglar book that 'ur words are your advertisement, when u open ur mouth, u give people an opportunity to see inside of u', and I concur 100% to it. It's one thing not to admire the person occupying the seat of the president of a country but another to have regards for the office of the presidency. A critic would always point out things that are wrong but it takes a judge to see something wrong and say wat ought to be. Even if my dad is a bad man, based on someone else's perspective though, insulting him is same as insulting me. I see the Prof's statement as an insult for the singular fact that he bluntly said the president is insane(I guess the Prof is sane in his own eyes). Trust me, I can never belittle myself to insulting somebody.

Beyond this, he has launched the cassava bread revolution campaign aimed at reducing our reliance on imported wheat. An Agricultural loan scheme has been floated alongside the CBN for local farmers. He is building silos across the federation and has imposed high import tariffs on importation of rice and wheats inorder to encourage local farmers. As part of the national campaign, the president on his democracy day speech directed that only locally produced food should be served in Aso rock and govt public functions. Thirdly, the fake Prof blabbed about GEJ's inability to use Maidugri Airport. If only this Prof was told by his paymaster how much renovation and rehabilitation that this govt has carried out in all the major airports in our country in just one year.Both the ABUJA, LAGOS, ENUGU, KANO AND BENIN airports are under massive reconstruction. On the flip side, the state of the runways of Accra airport is nothing to write home about. When it rains, the runway gets flooded thus leading to the crash of our cargo airplane recently. The prof should hve directed his tirades to his aviation minister, who came on air and made a useless defence of the flooded runways of ACCRA AIRPORT in this mordern age. Finally, the fake prof said our president is of unsound mind. That was the height of rascality by a prof who should know the language of diplomacy. I beg to ask those who have been supporting this retard prof, where did this man derive his allegations from? Which doctor or Health expert pronounced our President insane? What proof can he offer in support of his allegations that our president has a history of unsound mind? Marriage.... Hmmm! So many women forget so fast that the greatest need of a man is 'respect', and so many men forget that the greatest need of a woman is a 'godly man'. In the beginning, God intended for the man to work, cultivate and protect. The men were supposed to be seen as a Hero to their women... but somehow along the line, the women stop seeing the men as their Heroes; probably cos they men were not Heroic enough or the women wanted to be their own Heroes(independent). Just wondering if the Nigerian Security system display intelligence in their operation or it's just 'busy body'! AFTER the recent bomb blast at Jos, Armored Cars were kept at the different locations and security intensified at the various spots (were they thinking the same place would be targeted very soon? ). Security Checks on road have become a norm to delay Motorists and cause very long cues on d road, (how many ppl have they caught using all these irrelevant road blocks? ). With a large part of 2012 budget to be used for security, I wonder if more attention would be placed on the 'intelligence unit'(if it exists) or it's just another time for 'busy body' to make it look like they are working!
