Xander85: I think you’ve misinterpreted the table you attached to your post. I did not misinterpret. Imo1stson: Imo State IGR increased by 117% in 2018 to emerge the highest IGR in Southeast for 2018 and 3rd highest increase nationwide behind Ondo and Bauchi. Hospitality is one of the world's biggest business. |

SoNature: Have a field day, papi Uncle, the Internet is nobody's living room. If you like populate this whole thread with terrible pictures...nobody cares, actually. No reasonable visitor expects Owerri, a town in backward Africa, not to have terribly looking milieu. Whether good or bad pictures, we will view the pictures and walk away. Nobody lives on Nairaland One thing is certain: the day we are tired of visiting Nairaland, we will delete our accounts. Hate and tribalism will drive most of the rational ones among us to make that call even quicker] Don't mind the psychotic patient. He grabs pictures from internet and post in order to deceive the gullible. Those pictures are old pictures of Orlu road but it looks completely different today

Asshurbanipall: LOL..you know even if you can deny yourself to any other person, you know you can never deny yourself where I dey. I know you too well even if you are operating 1000 accounts. Lying bastard.
So these pictures I took few weeks ago are not Owerri? When Okorocha build those shabby lampholders in Owerri? was it is not just last year? Stop deceiving people all over the place because anyone that visits owerri after seeing your propaganda is usually disappointed.
[s][/s] You are suffering from psychosis. Go see a doctor |

Asshurbanipall: You are a big fool, no wonder you were able to deceive so many people here with your propaganda. Where else do you have that type outlook in NIgeria? See more of your overhyped Owerri. Abagworo you have been cursed with lying
See more of the dirty shabby owerri roads. Do you want world bank estate pictures too? That's not Owerri and I'm not Abagworo. Since you insist it is Owerri just mention the name of the road. It is probably a pretty old picture if indeed it's Owerri but not today's Owerri. |

sanctity454: I just love the city it gives a unique Abuja feel especially the new owerri district, most importantly the real estate market there, great times ahead for the city of enjoyment and shopping spree. The major problem is correcting the errors of poor and hasty construction of roads. |

Thanks. The only thing obvious is that you are a liar and that the photos are present day Owerri as testified by these proud Nigerians. Thank you

Xander85: Nice pics, sanctity!
No doubt Owerri has expanded and progressed a bit..... what lets it down is the cheap roads and lack of trees on the major roads. In some of those pics, see how the cheap and poorly done cemented sides of the roads are easily crushed (like 'nzu') by vehicle tyres. You would have been right without the phrase "a bit". Owerri of today is about 5 times or more the size of Owerri 2011. That's not a bit of expansion but rather proves it's by far the fastest expanding city in Nigeria. Imagine if Kano, Lagos or Port-Harcourt expanded 5 times their sizes in 8 years what would happen. Rochas tried a lot in managing such challenge of an insanely expanding city with little funds. His successor also has a lot of work to do to avoid emergence of uncontrollable slum like Lagos. |

Osagyefo98: I know owerri in and out but sometimes am suprise where u guys do get this pictures from.
Or are u guys doing picture edit of what okorocha used to do back then on NTA every 8pm to 9pm....this is deceit.
Am not the picture type or neither do I care to upload but u guys should stop faking pictures here. You don't know Owerri at all if you doubt any of the photos. The roads are obvious locations that even a 5 year old can tell. |
