Before he Ihedioha assumed office Imo was developing faster than every State up till 28th May and suddenly everything has stopped. I am not related to Okorocha but I am wise enough and wealthy enough to stand with the truth all the time. If Ihedioha starts building roads, bridges, more schools, continues free education, free Healthcare and Imo maintains it's position as the fastest developing State, I will gladly support him. I gain nothing being against development of my State but if he continues with this dull government of excuses and blame game then this thread will slow down as expected.

The biggest evidence that Okorocha did exceptionally well is that his successor Ihedioha is wasting so much fund and time trying to prove he didn't perform well. If Okorocha failed there wouldn't be need to waste funds trying to prove it.

There's one mistake most comments have which is the motive behind this propaganda.

1) Okorocha demanded live video coverage of inspection and handing over of government house in the presence of clergymen and traditional rulers but Ihedioha declined.

2) Okorocha suggested an open televised account balancing in the presence of clergy and traditional rulers and Ihedioha also declined.

Review these 2 incidents and compare with this particular childish propaganda and realize the reason they rejected Okorocha's gestures. They planned ab initio to lie about state of things and carefully avoided open transmission.

We simply want more of these please and also continue the free education

The reason they are finding things difficult is that they refused to accept the fact that Okorocha did well as Governor. They are overwhelmed by the standard set by Okorocha and are looking for ways to reduce his achievements or give excuses for their inability to meet up.

It seems Nairaland is being paid by Ihedioha to spread false information. Why try to paint a bad picture of Imo State Government house which is one of the best in Nigeria?

Unknown gunmen, suspected to be hired assassins, Friday night, raided the country home of the immediate past governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha in Ogboko, Ideato South Council Area of Imo State.

The assailants according to a family source, arrived the governor’s residence at about 2 am and overpowered the security before gaining entrance into the main building.

According to the source who pleaded anonymity, no valuable was removed but the former governor’s bedroom and other places were thoroughly ransacked, raising suspicion that the invaders maybe hired assassins.

Meanwhile, another set of armed men suspected to be Government officials, stormed a radio station, the Reach FM, believed to be owned by the governor and ordered them to pull down the structure housing the station.

According to one of the security men attached to the station, the armed men who refused to disclose their identity gave the management three days to pull down the structure or be ejected by force.

This was coming two days after the Akachi tower, one of the monuments built by the former governor was demolished on the alleged orders of the State Government.

However, when contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Orlando Ikeokwu, a Superintendent of Police, said that he was yet to be officially briefed about the invasion of the governor’s home.

Will this thread slow down like the Enugu thread after Sullivan or will Ihedioha continue in same progressive tempo as Okorocha? Going by his antecedents in 1st 3 days my expectations are low.

He has started on a very bad note and he is not loved by the people at all. The way they pelted stone at those demolishing the Akachi structure made him withdraw hus earlier stand. It's obvious he has already lost the people's goodwill only 2 days into governance.

Ihedioha should swing into action and start building immediately. Okorocha was able to build more than 500 schools because he started work from 1st day and worked till his last day in office.
