Been looking for a place to do so for a very long time now and don't want to go all the way to Yaba, Surulere or Ikeja.

Kindly help if you know a place.

Bell's University? Duhhhh!
There is nothing decent about this girl.
She has like 20 pictures and none looks like a girl I would want to take home to Mama.
She is not even worth this discuss, she is genuinely ugly.
Definitely not as fresh as girls that go to Bell's, if u know what I mean.

TV/MoviesRe: Nkenna (big Brother Africa), A Model Of A Nigerian Woman? by imomoh24(op): 9:50am On Nov 20, 2009
@Chris,

For the record, I am not yoruba by tribe. Be that as it may, we should not bring tribal intonations into this DIALOGUE.
That is the problem in the first place in Nigeria.

The issue I have with Nkenna has nothing to do with where she is from, but rather how she carries herself. Agreed there is an issue here in Nigeria, do we all have this issue. No!
For what it is worth, a collective problem doesn't necessarily translate into a personal. But a personal problem if not managed properly is contagious and MIGHT infect others. So whatever the problem is with Nigeria, we should not carry it on our foreheads before it is known that there is a problem here. Believe me when I say, the whole world knows we have a problem.
But, I digress. Our culture demands that we choose when to and when not to say what we say.

God gave us 2 ears and a mouth, simply for us to listen more and talk less.
Nkenna, is overdoing it.

You guys should not take this personal. We should not talk to each other like enemies, despite the fact that we don't even know each other. We might meet somewhere in the physical.

I'm out.
TV/MoviesRe: Nkenna (big Brother Africa), A Model Of A Nigerian Woman? by imomoh24(op): 5:57am On Nov 20, 2009
@Chris, I started this thread, just to get opinions. I reported those pictures too. Please let us stick to the issues raised.
If those pictures are somewhere else on Nairaland, good, but please let's not have them here. My apologies if you are offended, it seemed the right thing to do.

@riversman, from which planet are you?
TV/MoviesRe: Nkenna (big Brother Africa), A Model Of A Nigerian Woman? by imomoh24(op): 1:49pm On Nov 17, 2009
I don't think where she grew up had anything to do with it.
She is simply not, can't still seem to find the words. I don't want to blame her upbringing, cos it might be surprise us to find out that her sister is much better behaved.

I think what is wrong with her is inherent. Where she grew up doesn't matter. I know a lot of people that grew up in hamlets but are very refined and carry themselves with more dignity.

Worst part is, she is even running herself down, with her own mouth. I think some should help her put a lid on it.
TV/MoviesRe: Nkenna (big Brother Africa), A Model Of A Nigerian Woman? by imomoh24(op): 11:30am On Nov 16, 2009
@Simmy, you are saying, by implication, that the average Nigerian woman is daft. I would beg to disagree with you.

Infact, calling her daft is even a plus for her. There are no adjectives that describe that woman. Anytime she opens her mouth, I would be like "Not again". She is so crude, and I know that the average Nigerian Woman is not. She doesn't have our "effizzy". She shouts at the smallest thing, rushes for food.
She is just not it.
TV/MoviesNkenna (big Brother Africa), A Model Of A Nigerian Woman? by imomoh24(op): 10:37am On Nov 16, 2009
Hi,

I am not really one to bring up such issues, except in the confines of my home and with my family, but watching Big brother lately, I had little choice.
There is this contestant called Nkenna in the house, she is supposed to be a Nigeria and Igbo for that matter.

I know Nigeria as a nation has its issues, but defining who a true Nigerian woman is, is definitely not one of them.
I mean this is a woman that does not know how to cook, clean, talk or even eat. I would have loved to say much about how she has carried herself in the house, but I am very sure I would run out of space before long. What got to that prompted this piece was when she said "She is now a celebrity and doesn't think she can continue going out with her Boyfriend as he would want to shine with her". Hey that is hitting below the belt and it irked me.

This is a woman that could not prepare vegetable source that my 10 year old sister can do, can not eat Spaghetti, that was prepared by another person, and was soiling up to her nose.

I would appreciate comments from "people that are watching the show".
Will be waiting for someone to tell me why I should see her as a model of a Nigerian woman.

Heard reliably that Inspiration got Kemistry too.

Dan had to go now, his mind is where his money is.

Rumour has it that he will be paid N1million per month, plus a house to stay in VI.

Can u beat that?

Music/RadioDan(96.9) Or Nanya(93.7) Who Is Better. by imomoh24(op): 7:25am On Jul 03, 2007

I listen to these two DJs often and found out that each have his own kind of style.
the difference is in the packaging.

When Nanya relies on the hits he realeases for our listening pleasure evry day,
Dan Foster does a more interactive show which engages the listener more.

Dont get me wrong, Nanya is great, he gives you the latest info on almost everything
you need to know about. But after listening to the info, I always want to go back to Dan.

Go to add dat wish Dan judged the the Liberian Girl on idols west Africa without looking at her Behind
It seem to always cloud his judgment, if u know wat i mean.

Holler if u can.
