Kennyzanga: According to the pro, after the final endurance test, he said we should pay attention to custom program on NTA by 8pm, he also said we should follow them on Facebook, Instagram and tiktalk. He also said if you applied with lower certificate, e.g OND and you have obtained HND, if you are lucky to be among the finalists, your HND becomes invalz and can't be tender for promotion to attain higher rank. He also said those that have master and didn't summit it online can't do that anymore and that the highest qualification you can apply with is BSC but if master certificate is uploaded during registration as at 2019, it will be relevant and considered for promotion.
He further said that we should be of good conduct and look after our safety as we pray to be among the lucky one. He specifically said it that, there is lower turnout in all states and that despite the low turnout, the job positions are much more fewer than the numbers of candidates that turn out..so therefore, further screening may not be welcome. Lastly, he said not all successful candidates will make it to the final ceremony as a customs official during the 4/5 months training as many will be disqualified based on improper conduct and not obeying the superior.
If customs is ready to stand by these above, I wonder why some governors and senator will want to hijack the whole process for selfish interest.
Every state have pro and special adviser on information. They are all aware of the information released by customs by 3 different news papers, why can't rebroadcast the news through the media that their people can easily have access to? Why are they just waking up now? Can they do the same for efcc, civil defense, police force, airforce, navy etc.? Custom Duty program. 8am on mondays not 8pm |

Nesey: People, I need your advice please.
I applied for the post of ASI with Bachelor Degree but I recently understood what the ID number on my slips mean. I've been given IA-03. I'm sure I didn't make a mistake during registration as I was very thorough. I uploaded every required document including my NYSC Discharge Certificate.
With this knowledge, I proceeded to do my screening on Monday, 31st May at the Zone A Headquarters (Ikeja). My question is What is the fastest way to upgrade if when I'm finally in?
I met one ACR at the headquarters and he advised that I go for my Master's Degree on part-time after getting my permanent appointment (which takes up to 2 years), I should then tender the certificate and request upgrade. Everything takes roughly 5 years.
Please advise on what you think is the fastest way to go by. You already have your answer. That's the fastest way. No shortcuts |
