LordReed:do you really know what 3bn dollar is? You are on a thread saying 7.7bn Naira and you are saying 3b dollar. Well, it might be a waste to you but a savings for the church. What if they build a 40k seated today and in six years it gets over flooded again and the need arises for a bigger auditorium? With this 100k seater it can last for atleast 25yrs before getting heavily over flooded. So it's wisdom! You don't look at the money, just look at the necessity. You want them to build a 100k seater with 1bn Naira so that in five years time you will read a news that dunanis HQ collapsed? God forbid. It's a state of the art facility and whatever it will cost to come in its best quality, it should be done to avoid stories and mockery later |
LordReed:The purpose of the building is not for residence. It is a place we go to at appointed times to worship our God. Pagans sacrifice to their god you don't complain. Occultist sacrifice and kill people to worship their god you didn't complain Ritualist kill people to please their god you didn't complain Politicians engage in infrastructural development to please their nation, it seem good to us all Now, Christians built a place to worship their God (not that FG built it for them) you are weeping, I hope your brain is not filled with white matter alone? |
spongeisback:"do not forsake the fellowship with the brethren and where two or three are gathered together in my name I am there in their midst" the church is a fellowship centre where we worship our God and when the building cannot contain us, we get a bigger one even if the devil is getting crazy. Haha, I can see you're getting your heartache already after all your ant -tithe campaign a church could still get 7.7bn to increase; that's who our God is, he frustrates agents of darkness. You are pained it was built debt free. For your information, whenever a need arose for the project, the church members are informed and donations were made. It may ache you to know that just last two Sundays ago, Pastor Paul informed the congregation that for the finish up and glorious dedication, the church will need at least 500million and those willing to give 1million and above came out and you would see that this church is not a poor church and a rich church with giving members. I'm sure the money donated that day would reach or nearly reach a billion but it was needed because the air conditioning project of the auditorium and the gate projects was billed at 800million. We saved you guys such details to avoid suicide cases ![]() I am not looking for scholarship, I only applied for scholarship, whether I get it or not there's enough money to put me through school and for your information in all meekness and by his grace, I can afford CU and aside that it may interest you that Bishop Oyedepo doles out scholarship to hundreds of Winners yearly, I personally know some people who were beneficiaries and graduates and those in currently. I also know personally of at least five persons who are in school now from my local assembly in the village from the pocket of Dr Paul Enenche among hundreds of others and widows that are being fed monthly. you are pained about the Glory Dome? It may anger you further to know you that, the acclaimed 7.7bn sanctuary is just 5/10 of the Lord's Garden. There is a standard secondary school there, there are restaurants there, there's a beautiful tourist/recreational park there, there's a beautiful pool there and these are completed already. There is also a five star hotel, a police station for maintenance of order in the premises, pastors' quarters etc. ![]() |
LordReed:maybe to those whose dime was not part of the 7.7bn |
One thing I like about all these is that wailers will keep on wailing. Nothing will change, churches are not meant to build industries, our mother church didn't teach us that, the help we can give the govt is to build schools and hospitals and orphanages and that's any church that can do it well (Some catholic dioceses are now distracted in this aspect as things happen in these schools I know of). I remember one lady coming to nairaland to say Winners chapel requested for her membership, leadership and tithe card during Interview for a job at the secondary school. If they build industry now, you guys will say they are competing to get members. Everyone is sent to a particular group of people so let's all face our assignment and not bow down to stupid criticism |
spongeisback:I can bet. The Lord who built it, will sustain. Just get ready for heart attack! Church's Jet will soon land, then Church University then we continue from there. The same thing will be replicated in other churches in Nigeria. |
LordReed:Hello sir, if he had informed the church that their current location is no longer favourable that they should build a bigger auditorium and that's the plan and the money was donated(because the money didn't come from Ministry of Finance) and he later out of his love for Nigeria donated the 7.7bn to FG or built a university, and the members still worship God in sun and cold, has he not deceived them? Won't he be hold to give account of what he did with the money? Please if the members want an industry, they'll donate and still build. In America and Europe, they have what is called Partners Network, could you google the way partners give billions to churches and there were no criticisms? You guys are just wasting your anger, anger in futility; HOLD YOUR GOVT ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE TAX YOU PAID AND I CAN HOLD MY PASTOR ACCOUNTABLE IF HE USES AUDITORIUM'S MONEY TO BUILD INDUSTRY |
Originakalokalo:the place of worship couldn't. Contain us so we had to build a bigger one with our general group money, does that mean we would be discussing about the church week in week out? Damn! Why do some people say some kind of things? You can visit the church maybe once or watch one of his preaching online and come and tell us if they are discussing building. |
DavidEsq:Matt 6:10 is the answer. If you don't understand then it's not for you |
Bidobado1:a church where they are lacking car parking space and you are mentioning poverty? How much can poor people contribute to bring up such edifice? Talk is cheap sha |
NPComplete:i didn't bother to bring out the profile of a little of the things he's done for fear you may not want to read completely, but nevertheless you can bring out your own profile of what you've contributed positively to those around you, that's how we should live, everyone for himself before God. and they called out which of his lies? |
Akpacha:those seem to you as big English? As small as I am compared to those in that church, that's just a little English. I see this battle as religious difference because no Pentecostal in Nigeria or any Christian that knows the condition of worship in the over flooded services of Dunamis at Area 1 would criticise this. How can an Intelligent man like you attack a group of almost 70,000 people who agreed to build a church that can contain them all at once to worship their God? Did the pastor As their leader use the donated money to buy personal Private jet or build a 100000 seater office for himself? If he did, those who donated should then query him. It seems to me as a situation where my extended family members donate money and our eldest built a 50 bedroom flat for us and a stupid person comes and say y didn't we build a clinic instead. Wait are you mad ni, is you mad? Were you part of the plan...? Heart attack as used didn't mean medical heart attack for nothing , this is where English comes in. He meant that soon, different of such auditorium place of worship will emerge from Nigeria then the recipient will no longer be able to hold himself as the more he criticized the more they sprang up, then the "heart attack"' You should remember his NO TITHE campaign, if it was as effective as he thought, why was the church able to grow stronger? |
AntiWailer:are you aware that if it's 100million every Sunday then that's what they have been having all these while? It's the same members that are there. Why didn't you observe this since and it took you this long to observe it |
NPComplete:He won't be remembered for this also? You're so blind you ain't seeing the lives he's been affecting positively https://www.nairaland.com/3038595/dr-paul-enenches-visit-agatu https://www.nairaland.com/4371791/dr-paul-enenche-visits-benue https://www.nairaland.com/4039434/dr-paul-enenche-dunamis-visits https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/kakaakireporters.com/%3fp=7473& http://www.idomavoice.com/2017/11/dr-paul-enenche-donates-brand-new.html https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/www.pinterest.com/amp/pin/422986589993289280/ Aside these, he'd be remembered for the blocks of classrooms he's built for several schools which I know of, the roads he has constructed which I know of, the transformers he had bought for no electricity areas that I know of, the sounds he has preached to and got saved for God.. In fact no one owes you any explanation. selah |
The church is meant to be fought so we shouldn't be surprised by these things. Thank God these pastors don't even have the time and energy to reply anybody so they don't feel important. They know these things they are saying doesn't correlate at all if not how can an acclaimed learned person use his brain to say that the weapons of a nation are obsolete and someone is building a largest auditorium for worship. How does church correlate with ammunition provision for the army of a nation? ![]() |
DavidEsq:ok, I thought you were one of those atheists here because I wouldn't bother to waste my time replying their mention |
odutolu1:you are not aware that the roofing was done by American foremost company in the area of Dome-shaped roofs construction - GEOMETRICA? you can search google about this company. They were the one that did the roof work. It's just that, Pastor Paul said, the one that indigenous engineers couldn't do, they were trained by these foreign contractors and if the same facility is to be made again, it could be done fully by Nigerians. Hope you understood what I mean? |
You should expect such in a location of wealth like Abuja (COZA etc or Dunamis-though they don't take seeds except a need arises and not in dollars) or Portharcourt and wealthy churches in Lagos and Warri |
If it's here, they may try to come and pick you from the church |
Appili:all these money you are hearing, were they buried? It still entered human(mostly Nigerian) pockets. He said not less than 5k workers and labourers worked there and so many of them built their house and some others got their cars. So tell me, was the multi billion Naira buried?? |
Bidobado1:so we should worship God in the heat of the sun and in the rain always right? Do not despise the gathering of the brethren so we must fellowship |
Hector09:they have 100,000 seater auditorium not 100,000 members. This is a hall that would be able to take all members in the former church in one service instead of six services so what changes? It's the same old members that will worship here and any new member that joins and they've been joining since. |
FRoosevelt:is someone who donated 100million, 10million, 1million, 100,000 supposed to be a poor man. Would anyone give what will affect him greatly? You need to visit this church even if once and see things yourself. Who God has blessed, he's blessed |
DavidEsq:you may not understand. Don't bother |
DavidEsq:"thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven" selah |
DavidEsq:could you enlighten me please |
SocialJustice:I'm sure he wasn't invited. The invent is for those who are Christians |
otdollar:there are more pastors and religious leaders there than Politicians, you should know that it wasn't the church that posted these pictures |
Naughtysite:for recreation |
