I bought an already built house last year, all original documents including the C of O are with me. I live outside Nigeria. Some of my workers at the site called me yesterday that two people brought a letter and when I read the letter it was an invitation from oba (king) of the area, that I should call a number in the letter and I should come to the king house with all my property documents. I have contacted the previous owner of the house he said I have nothing to worry about that someone in the area must have went to inform the baba that I'm in abroad and so they just want to exploit me.

Now I am confused I don't know what to do.

Can someone help out? I will be flying to New Jersey with my wife and son in October 2023 for the first time. We've bought our tickets already and we don't need a visa because we have approved ESTA our European passport for waiver. My question is:

(1) Newark in New Jersey is where we would like to stay for the 2 weeks, but we wish to visit New York for like one night or so. Please how can we get to New York from Newark New Jersey? Cheapest transportation fare & route, location?

(2) We are still searching for accommodation for the two weeks in Newark New Jersey, all the accommodation I've seen so far are on the high side over $1k. I want something like $500-$600.

Asking for a my uncle in Sweden.

Between a Block of flats and a duplex, which one do you think is the best to buy in Nigeria for a Nigerian in diaspora who only visit Nigeria twice a year and sometimes with his wife and children? He doesn't like bungalow at all and i don't know why. Left for me i would go for bungalow but he doesn't want to hear anything bungalow.

The issues is not whether the world is done with dollar as a global reserve currency or not. The argument is naira maintaining a fair value against $,€, £ over a period of time.

Whether dollar loses its value as the global reserve currency or not, naira is not appreciating against it any time soon. If I want to keep the value of my money and still experience some appreciation without stress, I will rather keep the money in either $,€, £ instead of investing in Treasury bill or MMF.

If I want to hold naira, I will put it in equities where it can have 50% appreciation if the odds favour me

My uncle in London is about to make a decision whether to purchase a Duplex or Block of Flats in Lagos Nigeria. He's tired of spending a lot in hotel and now he want to buy his own holiday home. He's considering either Duplex or Block of flats, but want me to advice him which one he should go for. I would have recommended Duplex but who's gonna live there when he doesn't want any relative to live there? My problem with block of flats is the no privacy because of other tenants if he's to rent part of the flats out. He doesn't like Bungalow at all.

What do you think is the best for him as he only come home once in a year or in two years?

I read what you wrote, and I would like to profer solution to this

First he should get it in an estate, it's more secured

And for the location, either island or mainland are good, as far as he's getting it in a secured estate.

But the truth is to get a 30M house, for that price l, it would be a 2 bedroom flat/apartment he would be getting which I'm sure it can't contain both him, his wife and 4 children.

What I'm proposing is he gets an off-plan property, that should suit his need, with this he would have more time to buy a property and the best thing about off-plan property is that he can even spread the payment plan for up to 24 months.

Construction has started and is ongoing, I've got different off-plan properties at
ISLAND - Ikate, Lekki conservation centre, Ajah, and Abijo.

MAINLAND - Irawo Kosofe
