I have in ikorodu, is located egbe under elepe. Is a very good location as the road is under construction, and the area is highly developed, but we only have deed of assessment and receipt
So this picture is exactly the land I'm seeing in this pic? Let's see how this pandemic goes
PropertiesRe: Plot Of Land Needed In Lagos by Indigbo(op): 1:24pm On Apr 07, 2020
Obafisenco:
Yes definitely there will still be a need for buyer to do a survey on his or her own plot if purchase, on either of the two.
But with a registered survey already done it helps to confirm to you abt the genuiness and authenticity of the land before purchasing.
OK, do you have the power of attorney market this land?
CelebritiesRe: JJC Skillz 43rd Birthday Party Amid Coronavirus. Funke Akindele Under Fire by Indigbo: 6:31pm On Apr 05, 2020
Imagine if the party was held by either Wumi Toriola, Lizzy Anjorin, or Seyin Edun, people defending her now would have crucified them live on their IG. But because it's Funke Akindele it's ok. Bunch of hypocrites. undecided

Obafisenco:
And the one of 2.5, registered survey as been done on the 9plots
I don't understand this logic at all.

A plot is going for N1.7m

Another one is going for N2.5m and according to you the reason the price of this is higher than the N1.7m plot is because it's more accessible by road and it has REGISTERED SURVEY.

You will agree with me that even if the one for N2.5m has registered survey buyer will still have to do a new survey on his/her name, the same way you still have to do a new registered survey with the one of N1.7m, so what's the difference since the buyer will still do survey of both regardless of direct or resell and previous registered survey on the current owner.

I will appreciate if you can clarify that. Thank you.

Well I have some other ones around the area, but they are 2.5 upward
Ok. So what's the difference between the one for N2.5m and that of N1.7m?
PropertiesRe: Plot Of Land Needed In Lagos by Indigbo(op): 10:37pm On Apr 01, 2020
Obafisenco:
Actually it goes for 1.7m, and u pay 10% which is for agent in which I fall into the category, making total of 1.87m. and they only accept twice payment.
Your lawyer we to come for physical inspection, and there see they survey cos it's usually with family elders
Ok. Is this the only land you have there for this price?
PropertiesRe: Plot Of Land Needed In Lagos by Indigbo(op): 4:14pm On Apr 01, 2020
Obafisenco:
Is a large mass land by the family, so they can't do surveying on one plot, they only do survey on the whole town land mass.
And foundation money depends on how u can negotiate with them thou initially they might tell u 50k, but u are only obliged to give any amount u wish, becos government as initially band it.
Ok, can it fly for 2m with thrice payment like 667k month? Beside that, my lawyer will need a copy of the survey for verification purpose you know.
PropertiesRe: Plot Of Land Needed In Lagos by Indigbo(op): 3:11pm On Apr 01, 2020
Obafisenco:
U can ask from anybody that knows abt ikorodu land, elepe and olu-odo is the most secured and most peaceful family land in ikorodu, there's no issues with them, but once u want to start work u pay for foundation, and no one will ever disturb u.
Cost of registered survey is between 250k- 350k depending on the surveyor u use
Can you confirm why the land doesn't have a registered survey?

Pay omonile for foundation? How much are you talking here?

PropertiesPlot Of Land Needed In Lagos by Indigbo(op): 10:54am On Apr 01, 2020
A full plot of land needed in Lagos, direct seller.

Budget 1.5m-2m. I can only pay twice or thrice.

Title- Registered survey, Deed of assignment and receipt. All documents will be investigated by my property lawyer, so don't even come close to me with fake document or resell someone else land. My lawyer will detect.

Location: Lagos- developing

NOTE: I'm not interested in Estate Land.

you are a mumu oooo I don’t need google because I’m in Ireland and I insist u are a liar!!!! A fraud and a thief..!!! Now u are saying students working per time ? But why did u post initially as if the government of Ireland was sharing a largesse? And u are sharing a room mr Man .. u are not having the best of times stop faking and living a life of make believe... okhuh My argument with u isn’t personal make no mistake.. but I won’t allow u mislead the public...ofcourse Ireland is better than Nigeria in all ramifications but using lies to prove it is wrong.. use facts!

Perhaps u can also be nice enough to share some facts about the housing crisis in Ireland and how Irish citizens are being killed on the streets daily because they are rough sleepers(homeless) instead of telling people how they can live so cheap even on government..
If I may ask, when did you move to Ireland?

PoliticsNever Again You Compare Saraki With Tinubu by Indigbo(op): 11:46pm On Feb 25, 2019
I remember some threads below where some people were comparing Saraki with Tinubu.

1. https://www.nairaland.com/4639575/bukola-saraki-vs-bola-tinubu

2. https://www.nairaland.com/3716839/saraki-tinubu-more-influential

3. https://www.nairaland.com/2373638/saraki-v-tinubu-greater-short

No you can't compare the two! It is like comparing City of Lagos to a dilapidated abandoned vilage!

Fast-forward to September 2018 when Bukola Saraki said, and I quote:
"I will Teach You How To Defeat Tinubu In Lagos" Saraki Tells Lagos PDP

Who is the boss now? Why can't he Saraki defeat his opposition in Kwara let alone teaching his party how to defeat the main mafia jagaban Tinubu?

Saraki that can't even have control in his own state wants to be the new godfather of Lagos?? He was not even sure of retaining power in Kwara and wanted to defeat Tinubu the Lagos mafia?

I don't support Tinubu but Its good to be realistic. The truth is; Never Ever try to outshine the master Jagaban. It's clear that Tinubu is incomparable with a learner like Bukola Saraki in politics.

Critics all welcome.

PoliticsNo Voting Without PVCs Accepted By Smart Card Readers- INEC by Indigbo(op): 4:36pm On Feb 21, 2019
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has confirmed that anyone whose Permanent Voter Card (PVC) is not recognised by the Smart Card Reader will not be allowed to vote.

Professor Mahmood Yakubu, the INEC Chairman, said this on Thursday in Abuja during a press briefing on the commission’s readiness to conduct the rescheduled presidential and National Assembly elections on Saturday, February 23, 2019.

He also answered questions on the logistics preparations for the elections.

He said: "The commission has operated under the policy that no citizen can vote without the PVC issued by the commission and read by the smart card reader.

“Having announced the total number of registered voters and their distribution by age, gender and occupation, citizens deserve the right to know how many PVCs have been collected across the country.

"The last date for the collection of PVCs was Monday 11th February 2019. Out of the 84,000,484 registered voters, the total number of PVCs collected stands at 72,775,585, which represents 86.3% of the total PVCs produced. Detailed breakdown and percentages of collection on state-by-state basis have been published on our website few minutes ago."

In the 2015 elections, electoral officers had to resort to the manual process as the card readers failed to read the PVCs.

In fact, former President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience Jonathan, spent more than almost an hour at their polling station in Otuoke, Bayelsa State, as at least four card readers failed to capture. He was eventually accredited to vote manually without a card reader.

PoliticsFayose’s Trial Resumes On Monday by Indigbo(op): 5:15pm On Feb 02, 2019
The trial will continue before Justice Mojisola Olatoregun of the Federal High Court in Lagos.

The trial of Ayodele Fayose, the embattled former Governor of Ekiti State, over allegations of N7.2billion fraud preferred against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will resume on Monday, February 4, 2019.

The trial will continue before Justice Mojisola Olatoregun of the Federal High Court in Lagos.

Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, a former Minister of State for Defence, had been led in evidence by Rotimi Jacobs (SAN), counsel to EFCC at the last hearing.

Obanikoro testified that he gave Fayose the sum of $5million in cash from the National Security Adviser imprest account, on the instruction of Sambo Dasuki, the then National Security Adviser during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Fayose applied for an adjournment through his lawyers, Kanu Agabi (SAN) and Olalekan Ojo (SAN) to enable them cross-examine Obanikoro.

Consequently, Justice Olatoregun had adjourned the case to February 4, 5 and 6, respectively for continuation of trial, but ruled that it will be the last adjournment from defendants until the conclusion of the trial.

Nairaland GeneralWhy Do People Always Look For Validation? by Indigbo(op): 9:05am On Jan 12, 2019
I have noticed this, whenever someone help or assist someone one way or the other, they go ahead and be telling people that I did this for him, I did that for her, if not for me, bla, bla, bla. Why are some people like this? Is that called Validation? Or can someone explain better where the Quran or Bible against this but made it clear that whatever help we do for anyone in life we should expect the reward from God, not from the person we help.

BusinessRe: What Is Your Worst Business Investment And How Much Did You Lose? by Indigbo: 12:41am On Jan 03, 2019
HardMirror:
This is in response to this wonderful thread https://www.nairaland.com/4852491/how-old-when-made-first

After going through the thread i realized that many had made money but lost all or a good chunk.

This is my own story.

Abattoir Investment

As a student in Futa, i usually patronized a butcher called Nurai at the abattoir behind Chicken Republic at FUTA Junction. The guy was very nice to us and always gave us extra meat to what we bought. When i had my first major breakthrough, this guy was the first person that came to my mind.

I gave Mr. Nurai 500,000 naira as investment into the business. The man lost all the money within a few months. I still like him and i know he did not do it intentionally but it was a big blow to my finances when i needed a backup source of income.

business agreement with a nairalander i wont mention his name, but i had an agreement with a nairalander, but i suspect he diverted the money into mmm. Long story short he still owes me 400k after refunding about 600k to me.

Ministry of works contract
Never take a contract during elections. Goodluck Jonathan awarded lots of contracts a few months to the 2015 elections. I got several road furnishing contracts November 2014. Unfortunately we had to borrow money to do the Job. Lost about N7million there. Government still owing us 54million (i did it in partnership with another company in Abuja) it was a massive blow and my worst mistake in life not just business.

What is your own story? Be honest and detailed so we can learn from each other.
You shot yourself..

I can never invest my money in anybody's business if the person is not ready to sign a Legal Contract agreement that is legally binding. I wouldn't even mind to pay my lawyer for him to draw the agreement up. Even a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is a capital NO

Do you have a well grounded registered business/company? Are you ready to pay me 50%? I can invest from N5m to N10m in your business, provided that you're ready to sign Investment Contract that is legally binding with my lawyer.
