PoliticsRe: Ben Bruce Goes Berserk, Attacks Tracka Over Constituency Projects by indigenous234(m): 9:50am On May 20, 2019

At your age, you're turning a simple request for accountability and oversight into APC vs PDP. Is everything OK?
Why do you feel the need to shill for politicians who dont care about you?

And yes, this, attitude of partisan politics instead of focusing on good governance is a big reason why Nigeria remains the way it is today.
You need help. Go seek your relevance elsewhere.

1. You are not implying that the Senator should not be questioned while at the same time faulting Tracka for questioning the Senator.

This is you being deceptive and trying to have it both ways with forced contradictions. If it is your belief that the Senator should be questioned and held accountable, then why keep going on and on about irrelevant issues?

2. Tracka is not a government/taxpayer-funded group or individual like the senator, the senator is a public official and he collects paychecks from us every month so he is accountable to the taxpayers/his constituency.

3. What you are doing is what public officials and their fans do in Nigeria when you question them or demand accountability, they turn everything into politics, tribalism and witchhunt just to evade and dodge.

Instead of throwing tantrums and refusing to be held accountable, he should have said I'll follow up with the MDA and the contractor and let you know the outcome because my people should not be shortchanged.

He should be working with Tracka to put pressure on the MDA and the contractor to get things done, but right now, they've abandoned the project and his people are left with nothing and the Senator care less, he's moved on.
Stop playing to the gallery. In all my comments here, I've never implied the Senator shouldn't be questioned but placed emphasis on the deceptive nature of the question by tracka. (they are two different perception. Don't define the two with one.)

I believe my take on this was further broken down in the 4th paragraph of my last comment (which you obviously chose to ignore "maybe because you want/like to argue", in which case, the 6th paragraph of my last comment (which you still ignored) comes in handy.

Good bye .

Asking you questions about the projects you nominated is deception? You obviously don't know the meaning of that ord.

Sadly, you are a victim of your own political deception since you've quickly turned this into politics/APC this and that when in fact it's not.

Regardless of where the money came from, it's still your money and funds allocated to carry out the
projects that you yourself nominated to benefit your people so exactly what's your point?

You are basically saying you don't care and it's not your business if the projects you nominated for your constituency are never built and the money budgeted for the projects is diverted or stolen, you just don't care and you shouldn't ask any question or demand accountability from the MDA involved why they shortchanged you and your people.?

Is this not leadership 101?
Please don't get me wrong. I'm not in anyway saying or implying that the senator shouldn't be questioned as it falls within the purview of his oversight functions. But directing the question solely to senator is deceptive at best.

I believe due diligence on the part of tracka demands the same question to be directed to the MDA involved as the bulk responsibility for the projects rests with the MDA.

Insinuating that the senator doesn't care when he pointed out the politics in this question is in line with the deception we are all talking about.

You very well know that the motive of these deceptive questions is to make it appear that the senator being the nominator of the said projects, and with the catch that 50% of the funds have been released and with the docility of an average Nigerian , the first verdict would be that " ahh ,,Mr Bruce has collected 50% of the contract and stashed it away in an office in SilverBird." read 80% of the comments here, you'll see what I'm talking about.

My mention of the APC in this case, is in juxtaposition with the blame passing politics of our government. Nothing more. Please.

Anyways, we might be driving at the same point, but we are at parallel lines of perceptive understanding obviously.

Have a blessed week ahead .

You totally missed the point.

Growing sense means you have a sense of duty and a sense of obligation to make sure that regardless who paid or didn't pay for the projects you nominated on behalf of your people, the projects must be completed to benefit your people, if not, it is your job to find out why they are not completed, it is your responsibility to hold people accountable, same way you hold other people accountable on twitter every day.
I believe Mr Bruce branded them rightly for what they are. "Deceptive".

Too bad, you've been caught up in the web the deception .

The MDA on whose budget the projects were added are not to asked for progress report but the senator who nominated the projects should give project report on projects in the budget of the MDA? OK ohhh.

This further illustrates how the APC got a second term even with the calamities of their first term still biting hard.
PoliticsRe: Ben Bruce Goes Berserk, Attacks Tracka Over Constituency Projects by indigenous234(m): 9:36pm On May 18, 2019
Majority of the response to this post is a pointer to how the APC returned to power.

Nigerians are mostly stupid.

Can the senator execute the projects he so nominated? No.

Can the senator award the contracts for the projects he nominated? No.

Can the senator bid for the contracts he nominated? No.

Is there a process that guides the awards of contracts in the MDA's ? Yes.

Does this "process" in any way, empower the the senator to nominate contractors for his nominated projects in the MDA's budget ? No.

From whose account is the contracts paid for, the MDA or the senator ? The MDA.

On whose budget does the nominated projects appear? The MDA or the senator? ? The MDA.

Please people.... Grow some sense.

First the write up didn't say the it was not done on any particular criteria so the writer used his own discretion pile his list not based on the owners wealth.

It is you who should up ur game because Papillo Fc owned by Kani has been disbanded since cuz he couldn't maintain the team financially, that's over a year.

Giwa Fc, owned by Chris Giwa who has been banner over three years now by fifa from all football related activities which includes but not limited to owning a football club, holding a football administrative position
Over sabi Hunku, read your first paragraph again.

Over sabi
SportsRe: Top Privately Owned Football Clubs In Nigeria by indigenous234(m): 8:42pm On Apr 29, 2019
First, if this is a list of privately owned clubsides in Nigeria it's not complete by whatever criteria the listing is done. OP, you need to up your game. (Papilo FC, champions of Imo State FA cup on a number of occasions is missing, so also is Giwa FC, Champion of Plateau state FA cup on numerous occasions. There's also Ranchers Bees of Karina and so many others)

Then, if it's a ranking and not a listing, OP, you need to up your game too. How come Remo stars is in number one position? I believe Ifeanyi Uba FC deserves the number one position by a mile. Even ahead of Stationary Stores for the simple fact that they have their own stadium.

In conclusion, OP, up your game.

Thank you.
RomanceRe: Virginity Is The Best Wedding Gift Any Man Would Receive, Says Nigerian Man by indigenous234(m): 7:45am On Apr 25, 2019
Who even wants to marry a virgin?? Personally, I see guys searching for a virgin as paedophiles.
EventsRe: How Much Did You Spend on Your Wedding? by indigenous234(m): 9:01pm On Apr 23, 2019
Don't get me wrong OP, but I think this your marriage budget is very much padded.

You said you were cutting costs abi ? Oya, let's do small analysis .

*Your traditional marriage was on a week day- Wednesday.

*the traditional marriage was held in Ekpoma, which is a village.(with the only civilisation there being the AAU)

* since the traditional marriage was held on a week day, it therefore means that lesser number of guests will turn up.

*Now you said you spent #200,000 for Food? The amount is over blotted to sound civil. That means it's about 2k food each for a guest assuming they were up to a hundred or 1k for 200 guests. While the normal budget for food for a (not poor/ not a multi millionaire ) wedding is 500 per guest. Now, working with this "normal budget" analogy, it means therefor that you had at least 400 guests for your traditional marriage ( on a weekday?? In Ekpoma huh OK ohh. ..!!!! Except you add a video/photo evidence of the food served and estimated number of guests, I find your food budget untrue.

You spent 200k for food and a further 140k for drinks in your traditional marriage but spent 300k for foods and drinks in your white wedding reception !!! That's a difference of about 17% less. Abi no be Nigeria you do the marriage??

When people over hype their marriage expenses it beats me what the end game is.

it's either the church preach that thieves shouldn't give offerings in church but repent and be righteous

or better yet stop taking money from politicians which give the church a bad name as an associate of thieves.

same thing applies to mosque and shrines too

keep the worship centers holy
Give me an example of a church that doesn't preach against ill gotten wealth across Africa ?

The church has no way of differentiating corrupt money from clean. That responsibility is on the government.
Christianity EtcRe: Timothy Gichere: We'll Be Collecting Money From Politicians Till Court Decides by indigenous234(m): 8:40pm On Apr 22, 2019
It's the painful truth. There's no way the church can determine a corrupt/Clean money.

Both the mode that sent this to FP and the OP that posted this should be reminded that these futile attempts in castigating the church by shifting blames from an inept and clueless leadership that has bedevilled Africa will not work.

We already have enough problem with a vast population of dunderheads that keep voting clueless leaders and thereafter heap the blames of governments that can't see beyond their noses on "the will of God", "colonial masters", the opposition" and the previous governments.

Efforts should be made in getting the people more involved in governance by holding those elected into public offices responsible to their duties.

The church is not to blame in this but the governments across Africa.
