fergie001: Not that, some say the letter is forged, because it was posted by one of Umahi's SAs. If indeed she withdrew, she misled the Court and it will upturned going further, but if she didn't withdraw there is no way she wouldn't be the Candidate. A fresh Primary will be conducted for her alone..... She withdrew even before the court case I guess? The letter looks authentic. I hope she has not misled the judge? |

Bomboiy: For the records Peter Obi never said yahoo boys,he said youths with laptop. This is exactly the profiling and police brutality we protested against during #EndSars.
Peter is for the youths,we will deliver Nigeria to Peter Obi. This is why I said the masses are worse than their leaders. We all know who Peter Obi was referring to. Who are the boys with laptops? Be deceiving yourself. |

fergie001: Listen, a Primary held in May, Austin won. They conducted another Primary on June 09, at the new Primary, Austin withdrew.
A fresh Primary doesn't mean there is a contest....Primary is for the Party to determine her Candidate. Haven't you seen a Party Primary with only one Candidate? Was Machina not the only Candidate in Yobe? Will that not be called a Primary?
I repeat, unless Agom-Eze secretly withdrew, Dave Nweze Umahi will not participate. There is a letter going round, some say forged and some say original. Now now? She withdrew? Naija politicians matter don tire me. |

fergie001: Once there is a withdrawal, it is not automatic. There has to be a ratification, ask Ayade.
Will her lawyer be happy that she will be contesting Umahi? I'm speaking directly from the order of the court not what her lawyer wants. The order of the court is clear and it didn't include ratifying her in a fresh primary. According to NAN, the court, however, ordered INEC to conduct a fresh primary within 14 days for the district. |
Politics › Re: Court Unrecognizes Umahi As APC Senatorial Candidate, Orders Fresh Rerun by Indispensable85(m): 12:52pm On Jul 23, 2022 |
fergie001: Do you know the meaning of ratify?
sign or give formal consent to (a treaty, contract, or agreement), making it officially valid.
They are authenticating Agom-Eze.... Umahi cannot participate in the re-run (unless the same Agom-Eze surreptitiously withdrew herself). That's the opinion of her lawyer. The judgement didn't specify that the fresh primary must ratify her otherwise there's no need for a fresh primary having been recognized as the right candidate by the same court. |

with Muslim Muslim ticket and a strong Peter Obi candidature? My brother those who will vote for him will still do so. Those who will not vote him will never do eventhough he picks the Pope as running mate. The voting pattern of next year will come with lots of shockers. Most of the noise makers crying about Muslim-muslim ticket are those who'll never vote Tinubu. Why bother about them? The man has adopted his winning formula, let's see who's politically smarter by next year when the results will be read. |

What stands Bola Ahmed Tinubu out are his verified anticident and past track record in Private and Public sector
For me people talking about age and agility need to think of the experience he is bringing to the table at 70 years, he has practical knowledge in the Oil and Gas sector having retired at ExxonMobil as a treasurer and auditor with Saudi Aramco and UK National Oil, and Major Investor in Oando PLC, Oil and Gas Sector alone contribute around 60% of our GDP and having a man with good knowledge of the sector would really help both upstream and downstream side of the business
Objectively as an HR looking to hire someone into an Executive position of a company that has over 200 million people and I go through Tinubu's profile, then I will pick him
*First Class Degree in Business Administration majoring in Accounting at the prestigious Chicago State University
*Former Auditor and Accountant at PWC, Delliote, General Electric, ExxonMobil,
*Senator SDP 93, Two terms Governor of Lagos State (Africa's fifth largest economy by GDP), Founder Action Congress, one of the founder APC,
*Investor/Shareholder/Owner; TVC media group (one of the best TV station in Nigeria) , TheNation Newspaper (one of the most visited news websites in Nigeria and the most read newspaper), Oando PLC (major importer of NNPC refined products) , Alpha Beta Tax consultancy
. You sold him well. |
Politics › Re: Tinubu Is Taking This Whole Muslim - Muslim Ticket Thing To Another Level(photos by Indispensable85(m): 10:10am On Jul 23, 2022 |
Okobola146: Tinubu is taking this whole Muslim - Muslim ticket thing to another level. He has to go to mosque now every Friday and dramatise. This theatrical fake piety is all for 2023 election.
Like I have posted before, the Yoruba Muslims in politics think they have to do all this to impress the average Northern Muslim. When Gbajabiamila was lobbying to become Speaker of the House, not even general election, just speaker, he rushed to Mecca, wore that ceremonial white robe and splashed it on social media to get support of Muslim governors and his colleagues. He storm mosque like Tinubu today to pray but immediately he became Speaker of the House that drama suddenly stopped.
TINUBU is on the same public parade. Atiku doesn't have to show no one he is a Muslim or go to any Yoruba mosque to pray. Being a Fulani man and from North, it is enough for Atiku. This Yoruba Muslim politicians attitude makes it look like Yorubas are lesser Muslims. Its demeaning.
...and they would tell you religion doesn't matter but competence. If Tinubu thinks he is competent, why all this display?
By George Onmonya Daniel So he shouldn't practice his religion again right? Maybe you should help us ask Peter Obi why he has been moving from church to church recently. Bloody hypocrite! |

vicdom: Abeg ask am ooo. If kwankwaso was given this PDP Presidential ticket, by now he would be writing his inaugural speech because it will be a landslide victory for him. Atiku is politically a liability, he only used his money to by ticket. If not because of Christians voters in adamawa that voted for him in mass, Buhari would have disgraced him in his own state. Go and look at the result, it was the bulk of votes from the christian dominated area of adamawa that gave him a slight edge against buhari. Look at the havoc Obi wrecked against buhari in the eastern region, even when it was clear the Eastern governors were against him. In Anambra alone, buhari had just 1% of the total votes cast. Obi secored 590k against 50k that buhari got, it shows how strong you are. The then governor of Anambra, Obiano collapsed APGA structure to support Buhari due to the rift he has with Obi, still obi was able to muscle all of them and secured 99% votes in the state. Infact, Obiano released a secular before that election, mandating all the civil servants of the state to vote APC or stand a chance of losing their jobs. I won't be surprised if he loses North to Tinubu. You must have failed mathematics in high school. How's 50k votes 1% of the total votes cast? Lol...... But I agree with you that Atiku is not as strong in the north as people are presuming. |
