temmypotter: My brother God bless you! You hit the nail on the head! What has he done that politicians have not done, worse even!
The question is not if Invictus has done right or wrong, the question is why Nigerians are condemning him with such glee! He's a criminal quite alright and should serve time in jail or whatever, but same Nigerians dragging him on Twitter for siphoning 12 million dollars are meek when Our Politicians swallow up our entire budget.
Double standards! How many politicians have you stoned or you are not good enough to start anything. The young man did something wrong if found guilty let him face the music, the same Nigerians celebrated him when he made Forbes u30 list. |

9jvirgin: Port Harcourt, one of the most unsafe place on earth. They should hold their governor responsible for failing them. Crimes committed in Rivers State is despicable and sickening. Stop that, you don't leave in Ph so how did you come to that conclusion, yes there is security problem here and there, same with the city you are typing from so don't demarket Port Harcourt even when we know our governor is not bothered, we still enjoy our city. |

You just took me back to when Nigeria was a country, when coins were precious assets. When Texaco filling station attendants cleaned your windscreen and thanked you for your patronage.
When Nigerian Airways was still a robust Elephant with wings? When PAN flooded our streets with seductive 404s? When we stood by railways counting the number of coaches on each steam train passing.
Do you remember when we used fluorescent tubes to construct HD-ready antennas so we could hear the truth from Siene Allwell Brown and Frank Olize. And when we put coloured glasses over our TVs so we could watch in colour?
Should I remind you of our TVs that had shutters, keys and legs or tell you the stories of eating moi-moi out of milk cups while watching white cranes come home from their fishing trip and beg them to exchange their white claws with out dirty nails?
When we ate New Society bread with planta. Drank Ginger Ale or Pronto. Licked "chichi" sweet and coloured saccharine icecreams after taking an overdose of kwilikwili so we could win the farting competition.
Back to when ladies wore shimmy. When permed and jerry curled hairs were the styles to beat. Tales by moonlight for the teens, Icheokwu for the adults and Danger mouse for the kids.
Tell me did you write love notes and pass to your crush through her younger ones? Did you sprain your finger from turning the "roundabout" telephone dial?
Did you knot grass leaves to stay out of trouble? Did you ever smooch your female neighbor on your father's settee while Teddy Pendergrass record was spinning on the turntable?
Did you walk from house to house on Christmas eve to sing carols? Lalastic.lala.... Did you ever use Aquafresh toothpaste to drink garri or use Krest and Akanwu for birthcontrol?
Did you ever feel a sense of pride sitting "Merry-go-round" long buses because your neighbor's kids had to ride their father's Long John bicycle?
Nigeria was great. Night journeys were interesting, we had toll gates at every boundary with jovial soldiers exchanging banters there. Life was greater if you had the privilege of growing up in Eastern Nigeria. So a full grown man is behind this moniker, because nobody below forty can pen down this. What a nostalgia. Thank you for making me grin with laughter. |

BeauHomme: Colonel Nabosa (at the time, he was rumoured to be Odili's CSO), that could explain why nothing happened.
I think the 1st collapse was more like 2002/2003. I left Rumuobiokani in 2004, and I witnessed the collapse when I was still there. It was a 4 storey still under construction You know very well, he has flood the site with millitary men and yesterday a tractor came for evacuation . A lawless man who he can do anything and get away with it. |

NaijaOlosho: A secondary school building has collapsed in the Rumubiakani area of Port Harcourt.
The 2-storey structure belonging to Immanuel Comprehensive College collapsed in the early hours of Wednesday.
It is unclear if anyone was hurt or trapped under the rubble but people living in the area said they ran out when debris began falling on their roofs.
Emmanuel Ine, a resident of the area told newsmen that the building collapsed around 2 am on Wednesday morning.
“It was when the debris started falling on our roofs that we began evacuating to safety. I woke up everyone and we ran out” he said.
An official of the Rivers State ministry of urban and physical development said that the ministry is investigating the collapse.
Officials of the school refused to comment when contacted but residents said they saw the building tilting towards a side and after 45 minutes, it collapsed.
They said the building was old but could not give the exact year it was built.
An inquiry into the documents of the building from the ministry of urban development was not immediately complied with.
An eyewitness simply identified as Peter told our correspondent that the collapse sounded like an earthquake.
He said that vibration from the building woke them up.
He said that the Wednesday collapse was not the first time the school building was collapsing as another 4-storey structure belonging to the school collapsed in 2016.
>> https://grovenaija360.com/school-building-collapses-in-rumubiakani-portharcourt-photos/ The owner is a retired senior military officer, in 2005 4 storey building collapsed there and nothing happened. He is yet to remove the debris as residents cannot drive in or go out. |

Timi is acting like a saint whereas he got her pregnant two times before marriage, that woman must have had a crush on the pastor during her teenage age, I think its a consentual sex, if not why coming out now after all these years to tanish his image? That's after the pastor and the husband had a misunderstanding. Mad couple..

gare: OP this your post is very misleading, there's a difference between Port Harcourt and Oyigbo, the garden city status was just for the city of Port Harcourt, as the name implies 'Garden city' not garden state.
Oyigbo is almost and hour drive from Port Harcourt, mind you I am against the both places not kept clean, but you should carry out proper investigation and inform your readers with the right information So Creek Road is also not port Harcourt. |
