I'm embarrassed at your insult. It's a common knowledge that Christ resurrected on Sunday, which the Bible calls the first day of the week. The following Bible passages established beyond doubt that the 7th day is the Sabbath. Matt 28: 1-5, Mk 16:1-5, Luke 24:1-4, John 20:1-5.

Besides, a look at your dictionary will define Sunday as d 1st day of d week. Check your calendar, most of them starts with Sunday as d 1st day of d week.

If the resurrection changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, wouldn't the disciples have known? But they continue worshipping on Saturday throughout d Bible. Luke 23:55-56, Acts 17:2, 18:4, etc.

The issues we've covered in part 1-6 of this series, constitute God's final warning and message of love to mankind. There are:

1. The end time conflict between God and Satan, divides the world into two groups of people. Those who receives the mark of the beast and those who receives the seal of God.

2. The determining factor as to who receives the seal of God or the mark of the beast is found in the answer to the question - who do you worship?

The Present Truth

In every age or dispensation, there's a "present truth" that when believed and acted upon, will save people from destruction. "Therefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of those things, though you know them, and are established in the present truth" 2 Pet 1:12.

In the days of Noah, the present truth was to believe that God would indeed destroy the world with water and enter the ark in order to be saved. At the time of Jesus and the early church, the present truth was to believe in him as the Messiah, as Lord and Saviour.

Today, the present truth is a call to worship the true God- Jehovah the creator of the heavens and the earth and not the beast. It is call to obedience to all of God's commandment, especially the Sabbath, out of love. Notice how those who do not worship the beast are contrasted and described in revelation 14:12. "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."

The Choice is Yours

The issues are clear. It is a battle for worship. Its between obedience and disobedience, loyalty and disloyalty. It is a contest between two Sabbaths! The genuine symbolising the acceptance of God's authority and law versus the fake - representing Satan's authority and claims.

I beg you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to save your life. Flee from death, from the mark of the beast and the seven last plagues that will fall on all who receives it. Remember, the most fearful warning and punishment will fall on those who receives this mark. God says "come out of her my people" come out of Babylon my child so you do not take part in her plagues.

Do you want to live forever or be forever destroyed? Do you want to experience real life? where they will be no hunger, illness, suffering or death? Do you really love God and want to have the privilege and joy of worshipping him throughout the endless ages of eternity? I believe you want to. The choice is yours.

Perhaps, you've not accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour. You cannot carryout Christian duty without Christ in your life. I invite you to kneel down before God in prayer, repent and confess your sins, ask Him for forgiveness in Jesus name, and accept him as Lord and saviour. (Acts 2:38, Prov 28:13, Ps. 32:5, Acts 16:31)
Pray and ask for the power of the Holy Spirit. He will empower you to love and obey God's law. You cannot do so on your own. " The carnal mind is enmity with God's law" but " the righteous requirements of the law are fulfilled in those who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." (Rom. 8:4, 7, 9&14. Titus 3:5)

I implore you to follow the example of Jesus who habitually kept the Sabbath. To follow in the footsteps of the woman and disciples who "rested the Sabbath day according to the commandment" after laying Jesus in the tomb. Follow the footsteps of apostle Paul and other apostles who like Jesus, have a habit of worshipping God on the Sabbath. I invite you to join the company of millions who are doing the same today. Universal Sunday Law Coming

Incredulous as the above title may seem to some, the movement for the enforcement of a universal Sunday law that have been going on for long, is gathering momentum and entering its final stage.

Activities of the Papacy

Like his predecessors, the Pope is calling for the world to acknowledge and honor Sunday as a day of rest. Legislation that will force the world to worship and rest on Sunday would be an ideal solution.

The Pope is the most popular religious leader with the greatest political influence in our world today. Presidents, Imams, Pastors, business executives and billions of people defer to him as the moral leader of the world. His push for Sunday legislation is increasingly gaining acceptance as seen in the following developments.

The Role of the United States

Rev 13:11: "And I beheld another beast coming out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb, and spake as a dragon...and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed"

The second beast of revelation 13, is the United States of America. Unlike other nations that emerged through conflict among nations (winds strove against the sea), the US came up and grew in a relatively new land, literarily "out of the earth" in the late 18th century. It was a safe haven for people fleeing from political and religious persecution in Europe in general and Great Britain, in particular.

Lamb-like at first, (innocent, peaceful) and founded upon two fundamental principles of civil and religious liberty, the US has become increasingly dragon-like in her speech and conduct. The language of the dragon is force. Says the Bible, "He (US) causes the earth and them that dwell in it, to worship the first beast (Papacy). " Rev 13:12.

The entire approach will appear to be deeply spiritual. Incredible miracles will be performed, by which billions will be deceived. "He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on earth in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast...and caused as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed" Rev 13:13-15.

The Role of Technology

Technologically speaking, the stage is almost set for the worldwide enforcement of the mark of the beast. Thanks to the wonders of information technology, events taking place in any corner of the globe can be seen instantaneously! Global audience can today watch the English premier league, Spanish laliga, DSTV, CNN, at the touch of a button and from the comfort of their bedroom. We can talk to anyone, at any time and place!

Government the world over, are collating the biometric data of their citizens. Our face, finger prints, blood group, address, etc are with government agencies. Although these data are indispensable tools for modern economic planning, a time will come when it will be abused.

In financial matters, the global trend worldwide is towards a cashless economy. From Europe to Asia, America to Africa, more and more countries are going cashless, with Denmark set to become the first completely cashless country of the world.

We're living at the end of earth history, on the threshold of eternity. None need to be deceived. God in his love have made ample provision for our salvation and have exposed the plans of the enemy. Today is the day of salvation. Let's us by His grace, repent of, confess and forsake our sins. Our only hope is in Jesus as our Lord and saviour, for "they overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony" May my name, your name and that of our love ones be written in the Lamb's book of life - in Jesus name.

From the first four part, of this seven fold series, we've established that;

* Mankind as the end draws near will be categorized into two classes of people on the basis of who they worship. Those who worships the beast or his image and receives his mark (Rev 13:8,15-17), and those who receives the seal of God because of their Christlike character and obedience to his commandments. (Rev 7: 1-3, 14:1-5,12)

* The battle ground for the last fight between Christ and Satan is on worship. (Rev 4:7, 13:15)

* Those who do not worship God in truth and spirit but follow the traditions of men instead of his commandments, worship him in vain, and will eventually receive the mark of the beast (John 4:24, Matt 15:9). On the other hand, those who are Christlike in character and keep the commandments of God - especially the Sabbath that commemorates him as Creator and therefore worthy of worship, will receive the seal of God. (Ex 20:8,11, Ezek 20:12 & 20, Rev 14:7 & 12)

*They are at least nine (9) characteristics that identifies beyond an iota of doubt, the papacy as the beast. (Daniel 7 & Rev 13)

The Mark of the Beast

Given the centrality of worship in the battle between Christ and Satan, It is no coincidence that the papacy have attempted to change the Sabbath commandment that differentiate Jehovah our Creator, from all false gods. While God points to the Seventh day (Saturday) Sabbath as a mark or seal of his Creator-ship and hence rightful claim to worship, the beast (papacy) holds up the first day (Sunday), a counterfeit Sabbath as the mark of her authority. She does not deny the change but claims blasphemously and ironically, the right to change even divine laws - because she has been given the right by God! A few quotations will suffice.

1."The (Catholic) church changed the observance of the Sabbath to Sunday by right of the divine infallible authority given to her by her founder, Jesus Christ.." The Catholic Universe Bulletin (Aug 14, 1942) 4.

2. "Thus the observance of Sunday by the Protestants is a homage they pay in spite of themselves to the authority of the (Catholic) church. " Louis Gaston, plain talk about Protestantism of today (London: Thomas Richardson and Son, 1874) 213.

3."Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change was her Act...And the act is a MARK of her ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters". Letter from C.F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons on Oct. 28, 1895.

Let me hasten to say that; SUNDAY KEEPING IS NOT YET THE MARK OF THE BEAST, but it shall soon be when an international or universal law shall be passed compelling all to worship this idolatrous Sabbath. As incredulous as this might sound to some, the stage is being prepared politically, religiously and technologically for the worldwide enforcement of Sunday worship. (Part 6 shall talk about this)

Like you rightly said, the 'SEAL' of God and the 'MARK' of the BEAST are not physical but SPIRITUAL!

Remember, Samuel impressed by the physique of Eliab - Jesse's son thought to anoint him king, but was gently rebuked by God who reminded him that "The Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart" in addition, the Bible is clear that the number of the beast is 666 (Six hundred, three score and six). God uses beast to symbolize kingdoms, empires, nations or countries. This is unsurprising, as many countries today, uses animals (beast) as nicknames or symbols of their football teams. For example, we have the super 'Eagles' of Nigeria, indomitable 'Lions' of Cameron, 'Elephant' of Côte de voire and the 3 'Lions' of England amongst many others.

To aid our understanding, a summary of prophetic symbols and their meaning will be necessary.
1. Beast: Kingdoms, empires, nations or countries. - Dan 7: 17, 23.
2. Horns: Kings, rulers, presidents. - Dan 8:20, 7:24, Rev 17:12
3. Sea, waters or rivers: People, multitudes, nations and tongues. -Rev 17:15
4. Earth: opposite of sea. Virgin land, sparsely populated area.
5. Winds: Strife, war or commotion. - Jer. 49:36-37, Rev 7:1-2
6. Woman: Church. - 2 Cor 11:2, Eph 5:22-23.
7. Babylon: False religion, apostasy and confusion. - Rev 17:4-5. Gen 11:9
8. Day: Literal year, 360 days of the Jewish calender. - Ezek 4:6, Number 14:34.
9. Fornication & Adultery: Idolatry, spiritual harlotry, following other gods.

* Thé above assumes this meaning when use within the context of Bible prophecy, especially in the books of Daniel and Revelation.

The Beast Identified (Daniel 7 & Rev 13]

In Daniel 7:1-2, the prophet said, " I saw in my vision by night, and behold the four winds of heaven strove upon the great sea, and four great beast came up from the sea, diverse one from another" From our prophetic symbols, we know this means that four great and different worldwide kingdoms or empires (beasts) arose out of the war (striving) among nations. This vision is a repeat of Daniel 2, where he saw four great kingdoms represented by a huge image - with head of gold (Babylon), arms and chest of silver (Medo-Persia), thigh of bronze (Greece), legs of iron (Rome) and feet made up of partly iron and partly clay (divided nations of Europe). However, Daniel 7 contains greater details to enable us identified the little horn or Antichrist.

Our interest like Daniel, is on the fourth " dreadful and terrible and exceedingly strong beast" and especially the little horn that uprooted three horns as it came up. It is a general historical knowledge, that the Roman empire was the fourth world empire, but what about the little horn?

The following characteristics and activities of this little horn as contained in Daniel 7 and Rev 13, establishes his identity beyond any iota of doubt.

1. The little horn came from or out of the Roman empire.
The fall of the Roman empire saw the rise of the papacy as a dominant force in the world politics and religion
2. He shall be different (diverse) from the rest (Dan 7:24)
The papacy (Roman Catholic Church) is a fusion of political and religious powers. The Vatican sends/receives ambassadors to/from various countries of the world, unlike any religious or political power.
3. It uprooted "pluck up" three horns as it rose to prominence (Dan 7:
The Heruli, Vandals and Ostrogoths (3 kingdoms) that opposed papal supremacy were literarily uprooted and completely destroyed.

The papacy under Pope Francis is once again growing in stature and influence in global politics and religion. From president Barrack Obama, prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel, to France François Holland's to mention a few, the world is wondering after the beast.

Let me state here that the purpose of this writeup is neither to castigate religious institutions nor persons. Rather, it is motivated by a solemn sense of responsibility, love and urgency. I have in the Church of Rome and other apostate churches, love ones, friends and colleagues, who are sincerely worshipping God according to the limit of their knowledge and light. He accepts their worship so far and even calls them "My people". However, out of love he warns and ask them to "come out of her" so as not to partake in her certain destruction.

We're living on the threshold of eternity. A storm of persecution is soon to burst upon the children of God, in the final battle between Christ and Satan. Now is the time to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, knowing that God is able to save to the uttermost all who call upon him. Let us lift up our eyes heavenward, for our "redemption draws nigh"

Jesus is coming again!

In Part 1 of this series we saw mankind categorised into two classes of people on the basis of who they worship. Those who by worshipping the beast or his image receives his mark (Rev 13:8,15-17) and those who receives the seal of God because of their Christlike character and obedience to his commandments. (Rev 7:1-3, 14:1-5 &12) Part 2 emphasizes that the battleground of this last fight between Christ and Satan is worship. (Rev 14:7, 13:15)

The reason no one else or thing is worthy of our worship except God is because he is our CREATOR. As the psalmist tells us "O come let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our MAKER." - Ps. 95:6. "Serve the Lord with gladness, come before his presence with singing, know that Jehovah is the Lord, it is he that hath MADE us and not we ourselves" - Ps.100:2-3. In fact, the difference between God and all other gods, is because he is our Creator. "For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord MADE the heavens.... O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness" - Ps. 96:5&9. Furthermore, Jeremiah tells us "But Jehovah is the true God...thus shall you say unto them, the gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish" - Jer. 10:10-11. The popular Christian song "Thou art wor...thy!" recognised and celebrates this fact. "Though art worthy, o Lord to receive glory and honour and power for thou hast CREATED all things and for thy pleasure, they are and were CREATED" - Rev 4:11.

The Seal of God.

So important is this issue of not only recognising and worshipping God as CREATOR but by so doing showing our loyalty to him in obedience to his commandment,, that he tells us never to forget. "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy...for in six days the Lord MADE the heavens and the earth, and the sea and all that is, and rested on the seventh day; wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it" - Ex. 20:8 &11. This same worship injunction is included in the three-fold, final warning of love message, that is to be given to mankind at the time of the end. Hear the revelator; "...Fear God and give glory to him, for the hour of his judgement is come; and WORSHIP him that MADE heaven, and earth, and sea and the fountains of waters." - Rev 14: 7. The Sabbath commemorate (celebrates or mark) God as CREATOR of the world and to say that its no longer relevant or that its been done away with or even changed is to imply ignorantly, that God has changed, or that he is not our Creator! The truth is that, God holds up the seventh day (Saturday), Sabbath, as his Mark, Sign or Seal of his Creator-ship " Moreover also I gave them my Sabbaths, to be SIGN between me and them.....and hallow my Sabbaths; and they shall be a SIGN between me and you, that you may know I am the Lord your God"- Ezek. 20:12 & 20. Rev 14:12, tells us that the end time saints are those " ...that keep the commandments of God, and have the faith of Jesus.

In addition, the Sabbath contains three essentials of an official seal, namely; (1) The name of the issuer or person. (2) His official position, title or authority, and so his right to rule; and (3) The extent of his dominion and jurisdiction. For example, we have President (title), Buhari (Name) of the federal republic of Nigeria (dominion or area of jurisdiction) Take a look at the 4th commandment in Exodus 20:8-11. "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy....for in six days the Lord (Name) made (title or office: Creator) the heavens and earth (dominion). This commandment shows God's authority to enact all other commandments and shows all other gods to be false gods, and therefore not worthy of worship.


The time has come said Jesus when " the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father seek such t worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him MUST worship him in TRUTH and SPIRIT" - John 4:23-24.

Now what exactly is the mark of the beast and the seal of God? The key to answering these questions is to understand that the issue at stake is WORSHIP. Rev 14: 7 says "...fear God and give him glory...and WORSHIP him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water" verse 9 of the same chapter continues with the worship theme; "if anyone WORSHIPS the beast and his image and receives his mark.." on the other hand, the beast forces everyone (except the saved) on the threat of death to WORSHIP the beast. " ...so that it could speak and cause all who refuse to WORSHIP the image to be killed" Rev 13:15

The fact is that the devil had always desire the worship due only to God as Creator. It was this desire that led to his fall from heaven. The Bible records this cosmic drama in Isaiah 14:13-15. Said the devil, " I will ascend to heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north...I will be like the most High" Cast down from heaven along with his rebellious angels, he has continued in his warfare against the most high. Thus today, the sun, moon and stars, reptiles, power, wealth, sex, and even man himself is worship in place of God. At the third temptation of Jesus, he offered him the kingdoms of the world if only he would bow down and worship. (Luke 4:6-7)
So determined and desperate is the devil for worship that he will resort to force and death to compel men to worship him if appeals and deceits fail. Thus the three Hebrew boys were threatened with and thrown into the fiery furnace for refusing to bow and worship the golden image of Babylon.
History will be repeated. Force is the last resort of every false religion. Trials and persecution awaits those who in obedience to God, refuse to worship the beast or his image. A universal decree will make it compulsory for all to worship the modern image of spiritual Babylon or be put to death. "He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name". (Rev 13:16-17) But God shall deliver his children.

As we approach the end of this earth history, mankind, the Bible tells us, will fall into two categories of people, namely; Those who by worshipping the beast and her image receives the "Mark of the Beast" (Rev13: 8,15-17) and and those who receives "The Seal of God" because of their Christlike character and obedience to His commandments. (Rev 7:1-3, 14:1-5, 12.)

But what or who is the beast? what is the mark, image and number of the beast? and what is the seal of God?

There are a lot of wrong, misleading and unscriptural answers as well as speculations to these questions. Lovingly, God has in the Bible given us clear answers to them. He knows our response and decision about these are of eternal significance. Indeed the most sublime blessings and most fearful punishments that man will ever experience are pronounced on those who receive the Seal of God or the Mark of the beast.

The stage is being set technologically, economically, religiously and politically for these end time events. Things will happen in rapid succession that a lot of people will be taken unawares. We are to "Watch and Pray"
