Following the what happened to music owned by Yinka Ayefele, the Gospel star has said he was in the hospital for five days after receiving the quick notice from Oyo State government to demolish Music House building housing his Fresh FM in Ibadan, the state capital. Ayefele said he was on the hospital bed from August 14 till August 18. Addressing reporters yesterday inside the partially demolished building, Ayefele said his wife was at the home of Governor Abiola Ajimobi around 11 p.m on August 18 till about 4 a.m on August 19, pleading with him not to demolish the building. The singer, who was in the company of top officials of his radio station, said: “Immediately, I got this demolition notice last Monday, August 13, I started making moves on how we could overcome it. All I can see is the demolition taking place after we had gone to court. “They were served with the court processes on Thursday, and the case was fixed for August 20 (yesterday). But before today, we saw that they had carried out what they said they were coming to do. “On Saturday, my wife was with the governor of Oyo State. She was on her knees for almost five hours with the governor – it was around 11 p.m till 4 a.m – in the governor’s house. I was on my hospital bed because I had been down since Tuesday that I got the demolition notice. “I would have followed them to the governor’s house, but I couldn’t go because I was on the hospital bed. So, I asked my wife to go there and solicit on my behalf. My wife was with the governor for almost five hours. “The governor said she should not worry, that everything would be resolved. As a matter of fact, the governor gave my wife $1,000 and two other people who followed her to the place. He told them everything was over. What we saw was the demolition on Sunday morning. “I don’t know precisely what went wrong. What has been my offense to deserve this? I have close to 200 people who work with me here. All my labor, what I have labored for, for over 20 years in pain, was just pulled down in minutes. “So, I don’t know if there have been any way that I have wronged the government, I would have gone to beg or pray for forgiveness.” Ayefele said he acted promptly on the letters he received from the government, adding that before the demolition notice was served on him, he had asked for a way out. Based on him, the government said he should put up another plan for approval, “which I told my architect to do.” He added: “It is not a day’s job. It was almost done when we get this demolition notice. “As it stands, we are going to abide by the ruling of the court. Aside from this, we are also suing the government for unlawful destruction of our property. We have relocated our studio, and Fresh FM is fully back on the air. It is only NBC that can stop us from broadcasting. They can only try, but they can’t succeed.” Ayefele said he got government approval for Music House, speaking: “In the approved plan of the Music House, we requested for an approval for a business complex with proposed two studios, which was approved. This building is more than 10 years. Remember there are cases of harassment between lecturers and female students loom in the University of Lagos, and Obafemi Awolowo University, an engineering lecturer of the Federal College of Agriculture, Ibadan, which is known as Engineer David Aremu Oluwafemi has been accused of sexual harassment and campus extortion of male students. Based on the most recent victim and course representative of the class, Lasisi, the said lecturer is known for his sexual assault of only male students in the department and ensures that during exams, he searches only male students to enable him to check out their privates. The said student alongside a colleague took to report the issue at Petals FM 102.3, Ibadan, On a favorite Saturday show; "Taloye" shortly after escalating the matter to the management of the Federal College of Agriculture, Ibadan As at this time of this report, the school management of the Federal College of Agriculture is having a press conference and have reportedly set up a committee to look into the case of the alleged homosexual lecturer. The statement of the course representative reads; I got to know Engineer David Aremu Oluwafemi after he was introduced to us in class as the lecturer for "Theory of Structure," "Livestock Mechanization," a combined course with Animal Production HND1. The first day he walked into the lecture room, he asked us to pick a course rep, and my colleagues voted for me. He told me that there are some things he wants the course rep o do for him, which includes refreshment after every lecture compulsorily and i spend N500 every week without the knowledge of my coursemates because he warned me not to disclose that information to anyone and added that he has spies amongst my coursemates so he would find out if i go against his instruction He later said that every month, i must subscribe for his monthly data on his two lines (MTN and Airtel). I was later invited to his house and his reason for that is that if i don't come to his house then i am not close to him lie how a course rep should, and my attitude towards him would determine if my colleagues would pass or fail and any student who failed his course in time past failed because their course reps did not cooperate with him. I then asked what to do to ensure that all 18 all my class reps would no fail. Yesterday, Senate president Bukola Saraki replied Adams Oshiomhole that called for his resignation. In his response which was released by his media aide, Yusuph Olaniyonu, Saraki announced Oshiomole is behaving like a rain-beaten chicken. Read below. Response to Adams Oshiomhole 1. It is rather surprising that Mr. Adams Oshiomhole is behaving like a rain-beaten chicken, crying all over the place about Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, as if the Senate President is the apparition haunting his life and the sinking ship that he captains. 2. Having decided not to join the pigs in rolling in the dirt; we would not like to be involved in any meaningless exchange with the demagogue now in charge of APC. However, because he claimed that he was reacting to the issues raised by the Senate President during his World Press Conference, we thought it necessary to give the APC chairman some attention. Alas, we found that instead of addressing any issue raised by the Senate President, his press conference merely showcased his obsession and those of his sponsors with Saraki’s removal, which he did without any decorum befitting of his age or his awarded office. He brimmed with hate, hurled abuses, threw tantrums, told lies, huffed, puffed. In the end, he said nothing. 3. It is indeed amazing that the same Oshiomhole, who is now describing Saraki as a politician of no consequence was the same one who only a few months ago was crawling all over the place pleading for Saraki’s support to become chairman. We are sure that those who took him to Saraki several times to plead his case must now be thoroughly embarrassed by his reckless and uncouth manner. 4. By his conduct and utterances, Oshiomhole, who accused Saraki of not acting in national interest needs to do more to convince Nigerians that his desperate desire to become party chairman is not simply to feed his over- 5. The position of Oshiomhole and his cohorts in the APC that the Senate President must resign is a mere wishful thinking. They will continue to dream about their planned removal of the Senate President. They will need 73 Senators to lawfully remove Dr. Saraki and they will never get that in the present eight Senate. 6. The argument of APC that the Senate President must come from a majority party; that the Senate Presidency is their crown and National Assembly is their palace is only supported by ignorance and dangerous delusion. First, the issue of which party is in the majority will only be resolved when the Senate resume. Two, Section 50 (1) (a) of the constitution is clear that any Senator can be elected as Senate President. If the only thing left of the APC change agenda is to change the Senate President we can only wish them goodluck. 7. Perhaps, Mr. Oshiomhole needs to be better educated about our parliamentary history when he Stated that “For the first time in parliamentary history in Nigeria, we had a situation where the APC had majority of Senators and went on to elect a PDP as Deputy Senate President”. Where is Mr. Oshiomhole when Senator John Wash Pam of the Nigerian People’s Party (NPP) became Deputy Senate President in the Second Republic even when the National Party of Nigeria (NPN) had the majority. The same thing happened in the House of Representatives when NPP’s Rt. Hon. Edwin Umeh Ezeoke was elected Speaker in an NPN majority House. But then, it would require a level of education to understand these things. 8. What hypocrisy! To think that this same APC were jubilating when Rt. Hon. Aminu Tambuwal retained his position after he defected from the PDP and still retained his seat, even when his new party was in the minority. These are people whose standards of morality are infinitely elastic. 9. We are sure the remaining APC Senators need to do a lot of work to bring Oshiomhole up to speed about parliamentary practice. His ignorance are too clear in his comments about how the Senate was adjourned on July 24, 2018, the distribution of committee chairmanship in the Senate and the difference between the post of Senate President and Minority Leader. 10. He has made so much song and dance about Mr. Godswill Akpabio resigning as Senate Minority Leader when he left the PDP to join APC. For this, Akpabio has become his hero and a symbol of honour. He obviously does not understand that the post of Minority Leader is a strictly party affair. And the PDP simply decided who to give it as it is not even a position that was mentioned in the constitution. Whereas, the Senate President position is a constitutional creation, which required majority votes of all the members. Again, we don’t expect people whose only experience in politics is at the provincial levels to understand this. No wonder they are talking of crowns and inheritance. 11. The fair distribution of the Committee chairmanship is one of the stabilizing factors in the 8th Senate and has helped it in achieving more than all its predecessors. 12. We need to inform this divisive element who now leads APC that if he wants to know why the 2018 budget was delayed, he should ask the heads of the MDAs. We reckon that should be easy for him since he is now their ‘headmaster’, moving around with canes to whip ministers into line. 13. Oshiomhole once again demonstrated his lack of sense of history by talking of Buhari winning more votes in Kwara than Saraki. We are sure President Buhari himself will disagree with the APC chairman. We invite the APC chairman to look at the figures of votes secured by the President in 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015 to know that the difference is clear, like a commercial advert stated. 14. We hereby assure this garrulous, tactless and reckless APC chairman that a million of Adams Oshiomhole cannot remove Saraki as Senate President. His illegal plots, can only feed his insatiable ego and keep him awake at nights. But it will remain an exercise in futility. Signed Yusuph Olaniyonu |

@Talkgeria On Thursday in okota, lagos a cow went insane and chased people about in broad daylight. The video clip shows that the cow is seen giving people a scary chase as they ran in different directions, evidently for not losing their lives. At one point in the footage, a danfo bustried to bump into the cow in a bid to suppress it, but the animal fled being hit and continued its rampage. It then charged directly at two persons riding on a bike. The two men jumped off the bike and ran for their lives. The slightly crazy animal did not stop its violence even after being hit from the side by a bus but attempted to hit the vehicle with its horns. In conclusion, a man shows up holding a rope in his hands as he tries to use it to subdue the animal. @Talkgeria The family members of a missing four-year-old, Elo Ogidi, have been left confused as different kidnap gangs have called to demand ransom for her release. PUNCH Metro had reported that Elo got missing during a church service at the headquarters of the Christ Embassy in Oregun, Lagos. Elo was reported with the maid during the church’s children thanksgiving service last Sunday when she went missing. Speaking with our correspondent on the telephone, Elo’s father, Afokoghene Ogidi, said different kidnappers had called the family claiming to have kidnapped Elo, adding that the gangs demanded different ransom. He said, “Several people have been calling us, demanding ransom but they are fraudsters that picked our numbers from the flyers around. “We believe that these fraudsters are from the same place using different numbers. “One of them called and demanded N2.5m, telling me that if I did not provide the money within 24 hours, he would kill my daughter. He later called me back that day demanding N500,000 to feed my baby. “When I got home, I didn’t call him back because I know a kidnapper will not ask for feeding upkeep.” Ogidi, who further disclosed that he tracked the phone number of the gang which revealed the location they were calling from, said he told the member to put his daughter on the telephone. “He called me the second day and told me that I did not want to comply and I said him I would comply, adding that I would give him more than the amount he asked for if only he could allow me to hear my daughter’s voice. “But he could not provide my daughter; he was repeating the same statement of me not complying. With the trauma I was going through, I told him I know his location, and I will get him arrested, so he stopped calling,” Ogidi said. Ogidi, who noted that another kidnap gang called his sister to demand N18m ransom, said all the gangs that called the family had their locations in Port-Harcourt. The new lawyer, Noel Brown, declared appearance for Evans and one of his co-defendants, Ogechi Uchechukwu, at their resumed trial before Justice Hakeem Oshodi at the Lagos State High Court in Ikeja on Friday. Now while the 5th and 6th defendants – Chilaka Ifeanyi and Victor Aduba – were presented by Messrs A.A. Uzoukwu and Emmanuel Ochai, respectively, the 2nd and 4th defendants – Uche Amadi and Okechukwu Nwachukwu – had no lawyer to represent them.
