I beg to differ. Saraki was a first timer also. Ranking is not among the Senate rules. I feel the guy is humble, and mature, unlike Okorocha. I will really like to see him win it, if at all the Party backs him.

don't beg to differ on what you don't know, principal offices are not given to first timers, Saraki became the senate president during his second stint as a senator, pls check your facts before commenting.

Saraki was the state governor for eight years and has been in the Senate for eight years but check out kwara state if there had been any meaningful development, he installed a stooge as a governor and they have nothing to show for those wasted years, his issue has nothing to do with his DSP. he sees himself as too big over all kwarans, he loves to be worshipped and adored and his ego brought him down, that is his own problem

The prison in Ilorin called manadala, the kirikiri and any other tough prison in Nigeria, he has drained the treasury in kwara state and put the state in a debt that can not be settled in the next 20 years

The reaon saraki failed was that the people that loved him were not the one that could vote for him, he would have won in the land of Biafra and also if his constituency consists of Fani kayode, Dele momodu and co. He neglected his home, believing he had kwara state in his pocket and was doing big boy all over the federation gaining sympathy from people who can not give him a vote. such a bad miscalculation

I am from kwara and I live in kwara state, there are basically two factors that brought down the saraki dynasty
1. Pride. saraki ants to be lord of all everywhere he is, he was the champion in kwara state and immediately he felt he is above everyone, Tinubu, Buhari, the senators and even all Nigerians

2. greediness. for the past sixteen years saraki has been in charge of the treasury in kwara state yet no meaningful development, he saw kwara and kwarans as objects in his pocket that he can do whatsoever he wants and so he was brought down.

Let me say Thais that people of kwara state including me don't necessarily like Buhari but the hatred against saraki dynasty makes us to be on the side of Buhari, many people do not necessarily know the APC candidates nor even the capacity to do well but it is just anybody apart from saraki that we want

Oloriegbe did not do it, it was the people of Ilorin that are tired of saraki dynasty, I am in Ilorin and I voted for APC, the truth is many !at not even know the APC contestant but as long as you are in APC fighting saraki your victory is sure in kwara state

Atiku lost in kwara state not because people love Buhari but they are tired of saraki dynasty and so anyone that associates with saraki is already gone in kwara state.

Two factors that caused saraki's failure
1. pride. he can never submit to anyone at the top, he doesn't see anyone as superior to him and so he fought with the federal government

2. greediness. for the past 16 years saraki has been in charge of kwara treasury yet there is no meaningful development

morale of the matter.

you can't be proud and be greedy, if he had no federal power his people would have stood by him
and if you are greedy and be loyal and submissive to the higher authority then federal might would have helped but he lost both
