tomber: Why is everybody suddenly having intrest in NigeriaNigeria is a beautiful bride that is being courted by many suitors. Goodluck is working. Soon the presidents of France, Russia, Germany and China will be in Nigeria |
doctokwus: U nid serious education& if u av passed thru anykind,u need to repeat d entire class(es). So because dey were murdered in Eggon area by yet to b known assailants, based on an unsubstantiated report makes d eggon responsible?Ur reasoning is patheticSince you have a high reasoning ability, read this and tell me what you can deduce from these statements 13volts: According to my source, the convey went into a village located deep inside Eggon tribe to effect arrest of a suspected arms dealer and a traditional witch doctor who are fueling the land dispute btw Eggon tribe & Mada tribe in Nassarawa state. However it was suspected that some one might have tip the Eggon people of the inpending raid, of which an ambush was laid resulting in the death of many. The motive for the crime lies with the eggon people |
zetdee: Looking at this link Nigeria's high population should worry any Nigerian. http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSBRE9380DH20130409?irpc=932You are entitled to your opinion |
He was actually at a crossroad between being greedy and being fair. As a businessman he chose the former. I have some form of respect for Mr Seun as a businessman. An issue like this shows the thin line of separation that exists between being a good leader and being a good businessman. He is well aware like most people are saying here that religion is a sensitive issue, he is also aware that given similar conditions of insults and intolerance, of all the religions, Islam is the the religion with followers that are most likely to spark first. He knows the various comments on nairaland containing insults against religions are partly what makes the site fun and unique and subsequently rakes in money. He has only tried to balance it by removing insults to Islam which he knows could spell trouble but tolerating insults to other religion which is relatively harmless. He knows he can't generally apply the rule as this will make the site too rigid, boring and so he will lose patronage. He knows its unfair as he has honestly agreed but as a businessman he is greedy enough to know that Christians will only rant and rant but will not pose any threat and will not boycott the site as well and infact their rants will only make the site more fun. Funny someone even opened a twitter handle to canvass people to boycott nairaland, this will only make the site more popular and rake in more for Seun. He obviously has chosen to strike the rule off for now, but in the future I'm sure another action will be taken in a bid to reduce the insults against islam.
Good analysis |
Seun: Many Muslims don't like rule 17.Many muslims do not like it, all christians do not like it, all atheists do not like it, all pagans do not like it, then the rule should be removed or revised to include all religions. |
Yes, we are ripe enough to use electronic voting system in Nigeria. If rural indians can use it then we can, it is not rocket science. Electronic voting saves time and eliminates rigging. |
i like your confidence but this is a dumb idea. Just pray that this thread does not hit the front page! |
@Op na waoh see advert, i guess by now you have gotten what you were looking for. |
Aliko Dangote is a great man, a good manager of men and resources. There are other people who came from richer homes but frittered away their fortune. |
baba God help abeg, I wan port from poverty to wealthy... Good morning Nairaland! E go better
Why did you quote the lenghty article only to add one sentence ![]() |
chino24: My friend if you care to know exactly who I am..I dare you to come to Fed. Sec. Awka that way you will know that Ifeanyi is living on 'Blood Diamond and Fuel Subsidy'. We should learn to celebrate decent, lettered and exposed people internationally like Obi, Soludo, Akunyili, Ezekwesili, etc Is he that bad? |
As long as he is qualified to contest he should throw his hat into the ring and see how far his fortune will take him. However with the subsidy fraud hanging over his head i don't think he will be able to scale through the hurdle to get his name on the ballot. |
Its a good advice but coming at the wrong time. Goodluck is not fighting any governor. The elders should be more concerned with finding a solution to boko haram that is gradually turning the north into an empty wasteland |
I have also noticed it too. The moderators in this section are doing a great job and they should be commended. The moderating has definitely improved. A lot of posters are being more cautious with what they type now to avoid being banned but the diehard tribalists are still holding on to their rigid opinions. |
The owner of this site is living in fear of fanatical islamists that abound on this site. He is only trying to protect his life and investment by that rule |
13. Real guys are chasing and making money, they don't have time to read this list |
The man is not dead. These blog owners are looking for ways to drive traffic to their sites |
Yes you can |
Tragic. The eggon people should be held accountable for the deaths |
Good for him |
andrewza: Population? Yes but it not a advantiage. Far from it. |
andrewza: Nigeria played a very small role in liberating SA in the long run.Nay, Nigeria played a big role in crushing the apartheid regime http://www.gamji.com/article8000/NEWS8020.htm |
@inik Naija big bros na wa o. . . .lol get out of ere. . .get ur facts str8
I still stand on what i said earlier. In terms of population, arts and culture, sports, religion, entertainment etc Nigeria is ahead of south africa |
This is some cool stuff. You forgot to add your source tho |
Afam4eva has won a lucrative contract and is eyeing one fine babe in his area so he needs a makeover to impress her and other ladies ![]() There are really useful suggestions in this thread that will help us guys. |
It is very annoying. We are not primary school kids that need to be reminded of the rules everytime. The list looks long on a lappy, i wonder how mobile users are coping. |
