Turning things around will involve having a modern leader with progressive ideas. Unfortunately the old generation who see power not as a medium of transformation of the country and lives of the citizens but as a means of self enrichment are holding onto the reins of power, they are the ones who determine who emerges as leaders in all levels of governance in this country. These are the people that should be eased out of power.
