AGAIN,the Kano State Governor-elect, Abba Kabir Yusuf has issued fresh advisory to financial institutions in the state, insisting his government will not pay back any loan granted Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s administration. In a statement signed by the spokesperson to the Governor-elect, Sanusi Bature, he said the incoming administration would not honor any domestic or international loan issued to the state government, effective from March 18 to May 29, 2023. Tagged: “Public Debt Suspension Advisory,” Yusuf cautioned all subsisting and prospective lenders to the Kano State Government to be mindful of any issuance of facility without due consultation with the incoming administration. “Effective from March 18 to May 29, no lender (domestic or international) shall approve and issue any loan facility to Kano State Government without the ex

Before the latest debt advisory, the Governor-elect had advised immediate suspension of all ongoing construction works on public places already sold by Ganduje’s administration. Of particular concern, were portions of land carved out of graveyards, public schools, mosque premises, healthcare centres, court premises and government reserve areas.

Yep. So, I was not happy today and I was too tired to enter the kitchen so as I was strolling, I entered an eatery and got this for 1500. Though the man said it's 1600 but I told him it's too expensive and being a regular there ( just because of the fish), he told me to pay 1500.

I got married less than a year ago and I am already regretting why I got married. I stumbled on my wife whatsapp chat yesterday and I realized my wife has been downloading everything going on in our marriage to her parents and siblings. President Muhammadu Buhari has sacked the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele from his job, according to Intel region.

It was revealed that he may have been sacked in the early hours of Wednesday May 25.

His sack may not be unconnected to his ambition to succeed Buhari at the end of his tenure in 2023.

Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu today commissioned the newly reconstructed Network of Roads in Victoria Island (Adeola Hopewell Street, Idowu Taylor Street and Afribank Street).

Adeola Hopewell and Afribank/ Churchgate Streets are One-way traffic road while Idowu Taylor is a two-way. The three roads form a ring road-like pattern that serves that sector of Victoria Island.

The network discharges traffic into Sanusi Fafunwa which also connects back to Adeyemo Alakija Street at it tail end.

Some of the features of the road designs: interlocking paving stones on walkway and Carriageway Provision of service ducts, street/lane marking and provision of Streetlights.


The commissioning of these network of roads will improve Inter-connectivity with other roads within area, eliminate perennial flooding and erosion problems experienced within the axis and better socio-economic activities within the area.

Spend time with them doing anything...helping with their homework, taking them out with you when you are going grocery shopping or going around the corner,and buy them ice cream. You can also get involved with their grooming; bathing them, brushing their teeth, if they are still small.

But I think these activities may help build a great rapport and bond with your kids;

1. If you can swim, teach your kids how to yourself OR get a teacher to teach all of you. But, spend time with them in a pool as much as you can.

2. Try bicycle riding together or taking walks with popcorn, water and other treats.

3. If or when they're in college, visit on visiting days and please don't go empty headed with only a gift of money. Carry along provisions and a decent meal too.... it's unbelievable the number of fathers who drive long distance to visit a child in boarding school and they take nothing except themselves and money . That's good but make it better with food items as well.

4. When they are at an age where they can drive, teach them or better still send them to a driving school. But, when they're done learning, regularly sit beside them and let them drive you/your car to improve the skill learnt.

Gifts are good but be physically present as well, make your times together enjoyable and memorable. Discipline them too when the need arises don't shy away from it.
