@OP: Why is it that you have different requirements for women? If both parties are of legal age and know what they are getting themselves into them I see no reason for them not to be with one another. Age shouldn't be a deciding factor. Generally, I like to date older guys but if I ever come across a guy who is younger than me and I know that him and I are right for one another then I'd go for it.

Him being the first son or being poor is no excuse for him to just use someone. If anything it seems like he had it comin'. And suppose she didn't know. There are people who have medical issues that go undiagnosed for years. Just because she may have had it for years doesn't necessarily mean that she had preexisting knowledge of it.

Hmmm, interesting. You know, I just thought about something. . . If all the Nairaland girls he's complaining about didn't exist on this site, I'm sure it would be somewhat boring and if it was that boring he'd complain that there was no action going on. I will admit, as much as I may dislike certain member on Nairaland, it would be boring if they didn't exist. . . After all, this is a public forum. There's bound to be some people that you wouldn't get along with. The real world is full of various individuals [both male and female] just as Mobinga described so I don't know why him or anyone else would expect Nairaland to be any different.

Is there any proof that she lied? All you've mentioned is that you and everyone else believes that she deceived him. And yes, your brother is wrong. Although lying is never good, your brother doesn't seem that different from the lady. As far as I'm concerned, they seem to be in the same boat.
