Idowuogbo:Well, its only fair that he try it out with his sis then report . If we all like am, we go do the same [not!!!] ![]() |
I'm here. I think I'm starting to get bored/tired of Nairaland. Lately I've just been reading through threads. |
Mobinga:Since when? jaygetta:At first I did thought you were shy. And I'm not going to tell you what I'm coaching. I have my reasons. |
From what I have noticed, some people on NL don't see dating in the western sense. Some Nigerians think its ok to be with someone and still have s.ex with other people while still being with one person. I've noticed though that no one has referred to it as an open relationship. I'll see people starting topics about being with a girl and having s.ex others on the side but not wanting to consider it cheating since their not married to the person. Personally that is a load of crap to me. For example in the thread where the girl said she found condoms in her boyfriends car, I noticed a lot of guys said that is they guy in question had in deed cheated on her that it was ok because he's "technically" single because he wasn't married to the girl. S**t like that don't fly with me. If I'm in a relationship with someone and it is not an open relationship, whether we're married or not, if the personal steps outside of that relationship then its cheating. |

I like male skinny jeans. I have a friend of mine that's been trying to trade jeans with me for a while. He has a habit of borrowing jeans from some of his girlfriends. When I worked at the Levis' store, dudes used to come in all the time and buy jeans from the women's section. |
Poster, try it first with your sisters then come back and report to us ![]() |
You believe there is Yoruba Brazilian?
I did not say that there isn't anything like Yoruba Brasilian. A person can be a Brasilian and be Yoruba. Being Brasilian is just a nationality, NOT an ethnicity. You used the term "typical Brasilian Yoruba guy" as though being Brasilian and Yoruba were two different ethnic groups. Anyone can be part of an ethnic group and have a different nationality. What I was trying to say is that your using them as though they are one in the same. I have a friend who has a Bedouin father and Black Brasilian mother. She was raised in Palestine and has a Palestinian accent. Her being raised in Palestine doesn't change the fact that she is of Brasilian heritage. Does she need to have a Brasilian accent to be considered Brasilian? There is a huge different between ethnicity and nationality and people in Nigeria and many other parts of the world tend to use them as though they are one in the same. |
@OP: It depends. If we ended the relationship on good terms then I'd feel happy to see that they've moved on. If we ended on bad terms then I'd probably be indifferent when I see him with someone new. |
skillero:lol, that was when I was talking to jaygetta. He seemed a bit shy [in my opinion] and since I'm very open about things I was just trying to let him know that if he wanted to ask me anything that then would have been the best time since no one else was around. Didn't you notice he said he didn't want to write something that would come back to get him later? Its just small talk. If I had anything to hide, I wouldn't have written it on the thread .sucktit:Look, you can talk bad about me but leave Skillero alone. He's not crazy. He's just a little upset at the movement, which is understandable. Lmao, I like this thread ![]() |
amazyn: Oh well, if you like that then good for you. I don't think consuming all that fluoride is healthy |
SA Goddess:BC stands for big chop. Its when you decide to cut your relaxed hair off and go natural not too long after your last relaxer. I know how it feels when you hair is in that awkward stage. Hmmm, what products do you currently use in your hair? |
snthesis:How so? ![]() |
jcross19:semid4lyfe is actually right. I remember reading an article about it and he addressed it in an interview on tv a few years ago. By the way, Wikipedia isn't a creddible source since just about anyone can make up information on that site. Take a look at this site http://www.songlyrics.com/seal-lyrics/ I'll try and look for the interview and magazine article. When I find them, I'll post it. |
SA Goddess:I'll just coach my students and get a part-time job to pass the time. |
SA Goddess:Awww, sorry to hear that. I'm kinda lookin' forward to the cold though. Can't wait for all the fall fashion. Ooooh, just thinkin' about going shopping is puttin' a smile on my face |
