Well said ada24. When I was younger, I saw something on tv about a man that abused his wife. It got to the point where even the children were participating in the abuse of their mother. Its just sickening.
She doesn't look Brazilian either.

See typical Brazilian Yoruba guy and compare his features with Alex Lopez.

Yourba Brazilian player
There is no such thing as "looking Brasilian". So this whole idea of the "typical Brasilian Yoruba guy" doesn't exist. Brasil is such a multiethnic country so how can you even sit here and say that there is a look?

RomanceRe: His Sister Gave Her Fiancee An Engagement Ring by InkedNerd(f): 4:15am On Oct 05, 2010
@OP: I think I understand where the sister in coming from and what her intentions were but its not her place nor is it any of her business to have done such a thing. If her brother is old enough to get married, then I'm sure he's old enough to think and make decisions for himself. Its situations like this that can drive a wedge within a family because other members can't seem to mind their own business.
RomanceRe: Ladies What If Your Boyfriend Says ''No Kissing And Touching''? by InkedNerd(f): 4:08am On Oct 05, 2010
With all honesty I love the sincerity of the guy in the hypothetical question but I don't really think or know if I could withstand such a relationship. I'm a physical person whether its actual s.ex, holding hands, or a simple peck on the cheek, I enjoy having some for of physical contact with someone. I think if I were to get involved with a man, I would try it, out of curiosity but if I truly couldn't put up with it then I guess that hypothetical individual and I would have to go our separate ways. Trying it out would be me trying to be open minded about someone else's dating practice(s) and trying something new.

Perhaps you should provide us with a back story of what kind of products you currently use [if you use any], how often you lotion your hands, and perhaps what you eat. Just give us a general idea of what your skincare routine is.

I totally agree. Just because she has a Nigerian accent doesn't mean she's not "half Brasilian". As a matter of fact, there is a part of Brasil where the locals accents sound like Americans speak Portuguese. Are you doing to sit here and say that they aren't Brasilian because they have semi-American sounding accents? There's not particular look to being Brazilian. Smmfh, the ignorance that's within the minds of some people baffles me at times. I have MANY Brasilian friends and not one of them look the same. Some of them are darker than some Africans that I know and some are lighter than some Europeans that I know. PLEASE PEOPLE, ENLIGHTEN YOURSELVES and stop letting your ignorance be your undoing. I know many Brasilians that answer the name Lopez with both the Spanish and Portuguese spelling. And by the way, there's no such thing as being half of a nationality, but there is such a thing as being half/part of a particular group. Ethnicity and nationality are two different things and you all need to learn to stop using the two as though they are one in the same. Of all the countries in the world, Brasil is the one of the main melting pots of the world that demonstrates the integration and mixing of VARIOUS ethnic groups.

One of my ex girlfriends told me she was dis virgined when she was r.aped in her secondary school days back in calabar. She told her mother who said that she should not talk about such things. She told me the boy who did it has done it to at least 4 other girls in the same school. My heart go's out to all despoil victims and those who say that they cause it themselves by the way they dress are FOOLS!
Yes indeed. People who think like that really need to educate themselves. Makes me wonder how they would act had the same thing happened to their mothers, sisters, or daughters undecided.

FamilyRe: Women Who Earn More Than Their Husbands! by InkedNerd(f): 10:57pm On Oct 04, 2010
Ujujoan:
Do you pay your money into your husby’s account and let him manage your finances (even if he does a not-so good job) OR do you keep the money in your account and issue the cheques as you deem fit or if/when you feel likt it?

Do you get to make major decisions like where you live, what schools the children attend, which cars to buy e.t.c. since you make the  money anyways OR do you operate a joint account and make financial decisions together (and sometimes ignore times when you know your money is being mis-managed).

Finally (this is very important) . .  Do you get to live a like a pauper, just so you don't make him feel less of a man by paying for majority of the things that would make life more convenient for the family which he cannot afford but you can  huh  undecided

What would be the most reasonable method/approach to avoid resentment/bitterness  huh  undecided
Why would anyone pay money into their husbands account because they make more money? Is it that persons fault that they make more money? Its not an issue when the husband makes more money so why should it be an issue if the woman makes more money? The decision making should be equal but I don't believe that a woman should pay money into her husbands account of allow him to manage her money because he makes less money. I know a man who's wife makes 5 times more than he does and he is perfectly fine with it. He sees nothing wrong with it. The man is a high school teacher and the woman is a lawyer.
