abioila:Abiola, I totally understand where you are coming from but I don't think I can do that. I know my worth as a woman and as a human being so if he needed to step outside of the relationship to realize my worth or couldn't see that right off the bat the he isn't for me. I refuse to be someone emotional experiment. I would expect him to know his worth as a man and a human being as well. You should never hurt people like that and expect it all to be all hunky dory afterwords. I just move on and look for someone else who can appreciate my love and worth. |
@Inked i'll take you up on that
![]() dobodobo:Do me a favor and stop talking to me. Just because your a rubbish rude doesn't men that every other guy is rubbish. I never said that men don't cheat and no, 99% of men don't cheat. Unless you have statics to prove your statement then keep your mouth closed. chazy4real:Thank you . |
Nah, I'm not buff. I'm just nice and toned . Honestly, I don't usually do well with yoga buddies . They always manage to slow me down during my workouts . |
jaygetta:Lmao, that's how Nigerain family member are. I remember when my sister and I cam back from the UK and my mom was grinnin' from ear to ear and was like "I missed my girls. . . Sooooooo, did you two meet any nice Nigerian guys " and my sister and I looked at each other like "WTF !!!". I was thinking to myself, the woman done lost her mind asking these kinda questions. I just walked my ašš into my out the house and pretended I didn't even hear the question. My sister told my cousins later on and they were "Damn, the nerve of some parents today. Smh". I don't know if you told me this before but how old are you?skillero:Ignore him. lol, you made it sound like he was a mosquito. |
lol, why are you so surprised? |
Oh and go on Youtube and watch some natural hair video tutorials. Those REALLY help. |
SA Goddess:Whenever you want. Even if you have a low cut, you've still need to condition. Moisturizing is key to healthy natural hair. Awww, don't call your hair ugly and short. Natural hair is beautiful no matter what state its in . Oh and by the way, it wasn't a silly question. |
Never. Been in several relationships and left on my own volition. I guess i was not patient enough for them to cheat. My present date has not cheated on me b4
If he does, let me know. I smack am well well ![]() |
SA Goddess:lol, no problem. |
Here's a site that can give you a good understanding >>> http://recipes.howstuffworks.com/biotin.htm Its really helps with hair and nail growth. |
svovi:Its just a figure of speech ya know |
abioila:lol thanks. 1one:I will never cheat on anyone. Its one of the worst things a person can do in a relationship. I'd rather break up with the person than cheat on them. If anything I'd let them know if I were having feelings of stepping outside of the relationship. If the shoe were on the other foot and I did cheat then I would expect my boyfriend to apply the same set of rules to me. If he doesn't and decides to continue on with the relationship then I would continue as well, the only thing would be that I would have a great sense of guilt for what I have done. Please try and understand, I would never do something to someone if i knew that I wouldn't want the same thing to be done to me. Plain and simple. lepa001:Yupp, some people only think of themselves even when they've been caught. For some its just a continuous game. |
jaygetta:I'll think about it. Hmmm, this actually sounds like a good idea. Its about time I got some Nigerian friend here. Most of my African friends are non-Nigerians . Young gal eh? Settling down? lol, you sound like an old man when you say that. Anyway, if I go you better make sure you introduce me to some people. |
jaygetta:lol shut up stop tryin' to play me. Well you're in Queens so I was thinking Caribbean people. Never mind. I'll just keep quiet now so you won't laugh at me too much. What kind of party is it? It better not be one of those parties with old Nigerians . |
abioila:Most likely I'd still say no. He should have thought of that before he cheated. Often times you see people crying and saying their sorry and I have come to realize that people tend to be sorry not for what they did but for the fact they were caught. And I don't believe in the whole "he/she cheated gotta get back at him" thing. That's not my style. |
Make sure take biotin and a multivitamin. |
Never. I don't tolerate cheating of any sort. If a man cheats on me he obviously didn't have me in mind when he was dismantling the relationship. I have no time for cheaters. I give 'em the deuces and move on. |
Hehehe, I get what you mean. I guess you can try to get your hair braided with extensions till it grows to a length this that is more suitable to your liking. |
jaygetta:I'll definitely think about it. If I don't have plans, then I'll let you know. Is it mostly Nigerians there? |

SA Goddess:You know, you can try making your own hair gel to try to help get you through the awkward phase of the hair growth. Hmmm, I don't even remember how I did it. just glad I got through it . |
Typical Nigerian: ANSWER A QUESTION WITH A QUESTION! lol.
Must you always rear your head into every thread I post at? Smh. excanny:Look, I'm just telling you what I have been told. Ans what is it that you're wondering? |
Here is my daily routine: Exercise: Yoga 5-6 days a week [sometimes 7 if I can], running in the morning, and volleyball. Crunches when I wake up in the morning/at night before bed. Body Care: Soaps: I shower morning and night with black soap, paraben/sulfate free soap. The brands I use are Dr. Bronners, Trader Joe's Tea Tree Soap, South Of France soaps natural soap, Nubian Heritage soaps [but only when I run out of soap and I'm desperate], Chandrika Ayurvedic bath soap, and sometimes I use some soaps from Lush. Lotions/Oils/Butters: I don't really use lotions. Most of the time, I used oils and body butters. I use jojoba oil, vitamin e oil, sweet almond oil, and may other oils. I make my own body butter with shea, cocoa, and mango butter and some of the oils that I use. There are other butters that I use but those are the main ones. Oh and by the way, I never towel dry my body. I just allow my body to absorb the oil/body butter while its absorbing the water on my skin. Face: In the morning I was my face with the same soap that I use on my body. For moisturizing my face, I use use aloe vera, shea butter, jojba oil [not too much though]. Sometimes I mix vitamin e oil and aloe vera together and rub it on my face. At night, I exfoliate and moisture. Hair: I'm more into using natural methods of caring for my hair. For example, I don't use shampoo or conditioner and I make my own hair styling products. To wash my hair, I use black soap or castile soap. Then to condition, I use avocado and honey or extra virgin olive oil. For moisturizer, I use shea butter, and for styling it varies depending on what I want do with my hair. All in all, I try to keep it as natural and as simple as possible. It a lot cheaper and healthier than buying products that are loaded with tons of chemicals. As the seasons change, the products change as well. Oh and I forgot to mention, I drink lots of water and I'm a veg head so I eat lots of fruits and veggies. |
Specialist900:Either that or he didn't go to school at all ![]() |
★★★★, I like your user name ![]() |
jaygetta:Idk, I'll think about it. Wait a minute, your actually going to one of the Nigerian parties? Nah, sorry but I'm not into the whole Blackberry craze. Seems like everyone's losing their damn minds with the whole Blackberry craze. |
