Thought I should give an update here. Finally transacted with this guy and I confirm that he's very legit!! Na correct guy him be. I bought 2 watches from him and surprisingly he gave me an extra watch free!! I couldn't believe my eyes when the package was delivered to me this evening. I thought it was a mistake, but he said it was a gift. So thanks Eassy123 for being a great guy and forthright seller. Hope to do more deals with you |
I have been contacted by the real owner of the this account and made to understand that it was a scammer, using this post, that contacted me in order to scam me. So it just goes to show that one really needs to be careful and carry out due diligence when dealing with people on this platform. I just learnt another lesson today, and that's to always deal with the number posted on the seller's profile and not just any random number claiming to come from Nairaland inspbado: |
Whatever transaction you're doing with this guy don't send money before you see or collect your purchase. I was almost scammed today, but thank God for Street smartness, although I lost 6k delivery money, but that's chicken change to losing 150k in this tight economy. Be careful guys, the streets are tough out there!! |
Hi. Does the watch come with charger? |

Hi. Can i please see pictures of the galaxy s8 & s9 and where's your store located? |
Hi. Is this still available please? |
Hi is this still available please? |
Meister:Very correct guy, swift response and prompt delivery. I'm enjoying my Poco F3, the phone make sense die, very smooth and no lag at all Thanks bro, keep up the good work,,👍 |
I will advise you to go for the Xiaomi. I currently use a midrange Xiaomi and hoping to change to something higher soon. My phone has dropped from very spots more than 3 times and even though the screen is cracked, you won't notice unless I show you closely. The phone has one of the toughest screens I've ever seen on a phone! Likewise the optimisation on the phone is something else! I'm someone who enjoys downloading and trying out different apps on my phones (I've got over 200 apps on my phone which has a 4gb ram and 64gb storage capacity), yet the phone never hangs. The battery last me a full day, despite being a very heavy user. My brother has a highend Samsung phone and his screen got broken (from one little drop) some few weeks ago, he was asked to bring 130k to change the screen at computer village. So my broda go for peace of mind, durability and good all round performance (i.e. Xiaomi) and not just social hype oo( Samsung) P.s. I'm not a Xiaomi marketer oo (cos that's the accusation some people will tag me with becos of all wrote up there👆on the phone), i just thought I'd give you my honest opinion since you asked for it. |
FutureFocus:How much is this? |
maestroferddi:How many "Yorubas" lust after Igbo women, please don't believe this your Nairaland fallacy oo. I'm a purebred Yoruba man, with a very large extended family, none of the men in my family has ever married an Igbo woman, as a matter of fact two guys married other Africans (Cameroonan and Ghanian) none married Igbo. Moreover, you yourself eluded to the yorubas being a closeted people who don't travel out much or want anything to do with other tribes' (except collect their money ) , so why in God's name would we, all of a sudden, be all running to marry Igbo ladies? Don't be carried away by a few well known celebrities marrying or courting Igbo ladies to now make that hasty generalisation. Ps. My family does not have any aversion or hatred for the Igbos, but I guess we never met any Igbo lady that we gelled with enough to marry them. |
otipoju:Ibadan, Abeokuta, Ijebu' and those other Yoruba land you mentioned are not developing at the pace of Lagos because of the stupid type of federalism the Hausa-fualni controlled government has forced all of us to practice in Nigeria. If we truly practice the federalism practiced in the United States, where California, new York, Texas etc are not be controlled centrally by the federal govt in Washington DC, you will see those western states also growing at their own pace, using their own comparative advantages to develop. But a situation where the Nigerian state only allows one or two cities to develop, while neglecting the other cities, will bring about imbalances in the polity and people will only flock to the developed cities (over-populating them and rubbishing the little development they have there). |
maestroferddi:You say culture diffuses, tell me one of the major cultural traits the yorubas have imbibed from the Igbos, like the aso ebi culture which is now wide spread amongst the igbos? |
mikeapollo:Abuja has been the capita for 30 odd years now, it was a backwater dry land, but with massive govt presence, it is now a shinning city. Some few years ago, Dubai was a backwater desert land, but with with well thought out and planned development it is now competing with New York, London, Paris and major cities of the world in art, culture, technology and innovation, music name it! So going by you guys' argument here, Abuja, despite the huge investments which have transformed it from a once backwater land to a megacity, infrastructurally and economically, cannot leverage on the same advantage of being "a capital city" (just like Lagos) to enrich it's entertainment life. You guys fail to acknowledge that the culture of the people is a key ingredient in the viability of their entertainment value. The Hausas are not known for entertainment, so no matter how much they spend to enhance Abuja or any of their cities, it cannot come near the Lagos in entertainment. The yorubas in Lagos have infused their culture into the entertainment industry, and I even believe that the Nigerian state is seriously limiting the potentials of the yorubas, if we are free from the shackles of the Nigeria state, we will excel more than we are doing now not only in the entertainment space, but generally across board. Look at the artists I mentioned in my earlier post, they lived most of their adult lives outside Nigeria and they are excelling, why? It is inbuilt in their genes and the environment they live in has enhanced these talents. |
otipoju:Abuja is now the capital of Nigeria for some few years now, why has bwari, Nupe, Hausa and Fulani music (the original settlers of the land) not blown? At least they are enjoying federal government patronage, and other tribes' are flocking to the city, so their entertainment should have leveraged on this? Take it nor leave it, yorubas are naturally entertainers. We are creative people, we thrive in the creative space, it is culturally inbuilt |
maestroferddi:I don't really need to "travel" out of my comfort zone to know your culture, nowadays social media, TV has made the world a global village (most people have not travelled out of Nigeria but know a lot about america and Europe than even the citizens of these countries themselves). The aso ebi phenomenon, which the Igbos have almost colonized more than the originators of the culture, was popularized by the yorubas. How did the Igbos and hausas who copy this culture know about it? Most of them have never been to the west of Nigeria, but they see colourful pictures and videos of the aso ebis worn by yorubas on social media and fall in love with the culture. Most people that listen to the Yoruba music that we all hype and Vibe to have never visited Lagos or Nigeria, but they simply love the melodious tune and feeling they get listening to it. On a side note, Britons are jamming to Peru fireboy ft ed Sheeran, it's topping the charts there, I recommend it you will love the song |
TheRealestGuy:Seal, Sade Adu, Tunde Bayewu (of Lighthouse Family), Wale (I can mention quite a few others) never lived in Lagos. But are world known Yoruba artists making it big. What you guys fail to realize is that Yoruba's excel in entertainment because we like 'faaji" generally The average Yoruba man likes an environment that is lively and bubbly. That's why every other tribe in Nigeria is copying our owanbe parties. Compare a Yoruba marriage (with the antics of the "alaga eduro and ejoko" , aso ebi uniforms, all the choreographed dancing and music with other tribes' marriage ceremonies and tell me which one you find most entertaining. Yorubas are born creative, it's in the genes, the only problem we have is that the Nigerian environment and (hausa-fualni controlled government) is seriously killing our vibes☹️ |
abbey086:Is it still available? Sent you a message on WhatsApp, but you never responded. |

Call you unlock iCloud on iPad mini? |
My friend not everyone on this forum is a kid. Anyways, is the CBN telling me that this monies in these accounts run into millions? Why can't they state the amounts in the said accounts? Why freeze the accounts first, then proceed to court to get an exparte order to legitimise their illegality? And by the way, the law you cited to justify this shenanigan by the fg is as illegal as they come, if not for our rubber stamp legislature that is in place; the normal procedure is for govt agencies to first get a court order before even looking into your account, not to talk of freezing it! But here we turn logic on its head and justify illegalities because it suits our selfish purposes, forgetting that the evil we condone now, may turn around later to bite us in the a*se (case in point dasuki; he was once all powerful and almighty, and he also used to justify locking up people without arrest warrants and court orders, he later became a victim of his own illegality). Wherever we take this country, we all will be here to enjoy it one way or the other, whether directly or indirectly (through our children and generation unborn). That's my one cent. phineas: |
And they call this man a SAN! Smh ![]() It's is elementary law that 'he who alleges must prove it". The CBN is alleging that the account holders have committed a crime (to wot "terrorism", according to them), so they need to prove this allegation! As a matter of fact, they should have adduced sufficient evidence to back up their claim before the judge issued the order to freeze the accounts. But like we do here in Nigeria, a government or security agency will arrest you first, charge you to court and get an order to remand you in prison, then proceed to start looking for evidence to prosecute you, tell me, which sane or responsible society does that?!! ![]() |
sagieramos:It's a scam. Tested them with 1k, they took my money and failed to give me any data. I tried reaching them on their WhatsApp line, no show! So you've been warned ooo |
Using redmi 8, badass phone!! Hope to upgrade to note9s or a higher xaiomi soon ![]() |
First time I'll be commenting on one of such threads; my redmi 8(4gb ram 64gb storage) is just 2months old and I absolutely love it!!! The phone battery's is a beast! Processer is fast and has handled all I've thrown at it. The op is obviously trying too hard to demarket Xiaomi but unfortunately the horse has bolted out of the stables and they can't stop the movement. ps: I was at Maryland shopping mall yesterday to help a colleague buy the redmi 8 from easybuy and the phone was sold out! Same with Ikeja mall, met a guy there rocking the redmi note 8 and the guy swore that his screen is unbreakable, cos the tin fall from one high place and he no break! Told him to sha be careful cos he might not be that lucky next time lol. But believe all the hype on Xiaomi phones, they're really good products |
