PoliticsRe: How PDP Can Win Lagos In 2015 by inspbado(m): 5:23pm On Jan 02, 2013
Billyonaire: Am sorry sir if I punch a hole in your armour, but I have lived and own some stakes the states I mentioned and I can tell you more about the people and they average orientations. I dont know if you have even visited these places to be able to sound an unbiased conviction. I love Lagos and I live in Lagos, but truth be told, if I need a little more peace of mind, Lagos isnt the place. Akwa-Cross is the place.
Mr man, d guy asked u a simple question, to wit; "what is d population of those states u quoted as being better governed than Lagos", and u launched into a lengthy speech. The fact still remains that u cannot compare the population or the money accruing to those states to Lagos. I aint trying to hold any brief for Lagos state govt or acn(infact I feel they can do better) , but I think its a great injustice to compare Lagos to other states in Nigeria. Lagos state is grappling with the unresolved problems of Nigeria(and on d face of it,I honestly don't think d Lagos state govt has don badly in handling some of these probs) and other states in d federation. If d federal govt nd other states can create just half of d enabling environment for business which we've in Lagos(and to a large extent, ogun state)all these wahala we currently face in Lagos would be greatly reduced. Most of the guvs in the oil producing states enjoy a small population, plus mega oil money at their disposal,so I won't be wrong in saying they've an easy time managing their states. To be able to truly evaluate them I would've loved to see them manage a state with the population of Lagos, wif its attendant problems. Then we will be able to really judge weather these your "performing guvs" are up to scratch.

PhonesRe: What The Heck Is Wrong With Etisalat's BIS?!!!!! by inspbado(op): 12:21pm On Nov 13, 2012
@walcom thanks bro. I don't really think it's my phone that's got the problem. The thing is, I get the edge connection only in the early hours of the morning and very late at night. Ie btw 7am-10am and 10pm and 2am. Apart from these times,I hardly get a connection on my phone and where the connection is even there I cannot browse or access any application on the phone(except my BBM, that is). I use a curve3, by the way
PhonesWhat The Heck Is Wrong With Etisalat's BIS?!!!!! by inspbado(op): 11:38am On Nov 13, 2012
Hello guys, I'm having connectivity problems with my Etisalat BIS. Going to 2months now,I have been finding it difficult to get a decent edge or 3G connection on my phone. I don't know if it's a general problem(maybe due to the upgrading of their facilities) or it's my phone acting up. So people I'll like to know whether anyone out there is also experiencing the same problem, cos I'm really thinking of switching to Airtel o!!!
PoliticsRe: Fashola Is Rude To Non-lagosians – PDP by inspbado(m): 11:32pm On Nov 09, 2012
take dat: PDP who has been in power for 13 years should take the blame cos if they had provided good governance people won't think it necessary to leave other states in search of a better life in Lagos. Lagos state receives allocation just like every other state, if the other states had catered for the welfare of its people Lagos would have had fewer people trooping in on a daily basis. There should be even distribution of wealth all across the federation so that people won't take Lagos as their Nigeria and Fashola as their President
I BILLION LIKES FOR UR POST!!!!!!!! U make sense die!!!!!!

PoliticsRe: Lesson For Those That Want To Die For Politicians (Picture) by inspbado(m): 6:56pm On Oct 25, 2012
Virtually every tom, dick and Harry from every part of Nigeria and west Africa even(Niger,Benin to name just a few) is rushing to Lagos to ride Okada. This situation is adding to lagos' problems. Lagos as it is, already groans under an overpopulated space, inadequate infrastructure, crime etc. People should stop blaming fashola for banning Okada. I think they should rather direct their anger at the FG and other state governors who have failed to develop other states to lessen the burden borne by Lagos state. A situation where, for example,a farmer or an artisan leaves his profession and runs down to Lagos to ride Okada does not augur well for the nation.

PoliticsRe: Ogun Halts Migration Of Fulani Herdsmen Into The State by inspbado(m): 9:55am On Sep 21, 2012
ndu_chucks: This view is insensitive and naive and ignores the fact that these herdsmen are nomads and have been nomads before the creation of Nigeria itself. Their way of life is what you are threatening without remorse. These herdsmen have been transporting their cows and families on foot, before you people knew what commercial trade meant. smiley

Ogun state or any other state has no right to arbitrarily impose a restriction of the freedom of movement of the herdsmen or anyone else.

Identify the laws which are broken by herdsmen who are yet to enter Ogun state and I'll support the prosecution of the herdsmen. Here, you people and Ogun state are imposing a punishment when no law has been broken.

.
. Mr ndu chuks; have you heard of the legal saying.."where one man's right ends, another man's right begins". You see my friend the same section of the constitution you quoted also limits the right it gives you(I suggest you read the accompanying sub section of sec41). If you must know, no right is absolute in the constitution, almost all the rights in chapter IV of the 1999 constitution are qualified in public interest and peace. So I don't see anything wrong in what the ogun state govt has done. they've simply done it to preserve public safety, peace and order.

Believe me the road is really a federal road, just like the badagry express road. It's really annoying that the FG takes a huge chunk of the resources of the federation and yet does absolutely nothing with it!!!

PoliticsRe: We Will Negotiate With Subsidy Cabal - Okonjo-iweala by inspbado(m): 3:35pm On Aug 17, 2012
I don't understand;can't the government license new marketers who are willing to play by the rules;revoke the licences of existing ones who're blackmailing the govt and if they go to court, govt can adduce evidence(at least we keep on hearing about an audit carried out and the indictments made by the "committee"set up to investigate the subsidy payments) to prove breach of contract on the part of the marketers. I believe the foregoing should be done rather than let a few selfish individuals hold a nation to ransom, because the danger is that, if this so called negotiation is done, then anybody or institution with a bit of leverage on the govt will just hold the nation to ransom everytime.
PoliticsRe: We Will Negotiate With Subsidy Cabal - Okonjo-iweala by inspbado(m): 1:27pm On Aug 17, 2012
Madam minister if these greedy snakes are hell bent on going on a strike and by so doing disrupting economic activities in the nation, why can't u and your principal,GEJ, just revoke their licences and give it to others who are willing to comply with the law??!!! This route should be given considerable thought, instead of negotiating with saboteurs of govt. IMO
PoliticsRe: Why Nigerians Ridicule Nigeria by inspbado(m): 5:40pm On Aug 15, 2012

My guy stop comparing Nigeria with India Āƃěg!! Do you know the number of Nigerians seeking medical help in India(inclusive of some of your shameless politicians)! Do you the number of Nigerians employed by Indian coys in Nigeria!Nigeria is better than India my bum!! Concerning ur malnutrition argument;I read a Times magazine(an American newspaper)report last year stating that china, norway,Finland,Denmark nd a handful of other small European countries surpass the US in education, health,NUTRITION,debt management etc, yet the US is amongst the top ten developed nations of the world. Go figure!!
