Jokes EtcRe: Twitter Users Talk About Yorubas And Party (Hilarious) by inspbado(m): 11:54am On May 24, 2017
The year i wanted to have my wedding, as a confirmed Yoruba boi wey i be, i paid my landlady half year rent, told her i was having my wedding and when i'm through I'll pay her the balance. And my landlady, as confirm Yoruba "omoluabi" wey she be, accepted my request, give me better moni join sef, and on the wedding day spray me correct cash!!! grin grin. PhonesRe: Telecoms Operators Set For Tariff Hike by inspbado(m): 8:55pm On Jan 07, 2017
in saner climes the rich subsidize the poor, but not in Nigeria. Here the poor are always the ones subsidizing the filthy excesses of the rich. The government wants to tax the common man to death so that the elites can maintain their bogus lifestyle. That's why despite this biting recession, were the common man on the streets is groaning under high inflation of prices of staple commodities, the rich men in govt still buy luxury cars (and flaunt them in our faces) eat 1billion naira worth of food a year, their wives carry 8million naira bags and shoes, their children school in the best and most expensive schools abroad etc; yet they tell us to be "patient", "things will get better"; "sacrifice for nigeria". and never for once in their entire lives have these people or their kids sacrifice for nigeria! we the ordinary folks of this country really need to wake up! and stop allowing these bastards deceive us any longer

Jobs/VacanciesRe: She Sent This Message To Her Recruiter Barely A Week After Interview by inspbado(m): 2:15pm On Oct 01, 2016
Your friend tried but she could have worded her feedback letter better. Most people versed in the recruitment process would always tell you that writing a thank you note to your interviewer enhances your chance of clinching the job. It puts you in the sub conscious of the recruiter. Now going to your friend's letter; methinks she should have written a "thank you" note, thanking the interviewer(s) for the opportunity to interview with them, and also sell herself further as a great fit for the job. Check out an example of a thank you letter I've written severally and which worked for me (although it also helped that I did great during the interview too).

Dear Mrs.....(it helps if you know the recruiter's name, makes your letter more personal)

I would like to thank you and the wonderful folks at (insert the name of company) for giving me the opportunity to interview with you for the position of (insert position be sought). I'm very grateful and deeply appreciative for making it to the interview stage.

Having seen first hand, at the interview, the wonderful work environment and culture (insert name of company) breeds, I am more than ever, motivated to work for your Organisation; because I thrive best in such a great environment.
I sincerely hope I made a good impression at the interview and I also hope I would be given the opportunity to show what a great asset I can be to (insert name of company)

Once again, thank you for being a wonderful interviewer and I hope to hear from you soon.

Please accept my kind regards.

Yours faithfully
PoliticsRe: Mobil, Relocate Your Headquarters To Akwa-Ibom Or… - Militant Group Warns by inspbado(m): 7:53pm On Aug 21, 2016
Charity, they say begins at home. Why can't these militants tell some of their chiefs and head honchos eg Asiri Dokubo to relocate their numerous and very lucrative businesses they have in other places back to the delta, so as to develop the place. If those guys are really deep thinkers, they should have sat down and thought what the reasons are why even their own "sons of the soil" have little or no confidence in investing massively in their enclaves. Tinubu (ditto many other looters in yoruba land)with all his faults and stealing, massively invests in Lagos and other south western states; thereby creating lots of job opportunities for indigenes and non indigenes alike. The Niger deltans and other non yoruba tribes should pause and ponder on this for a while.
PoliticsRe: How Many Hours Of Power Supply Do You Have In Your Area Per Day. by inspbado(m): 8:22pm On Apr 02, 2016
In my area, Omole phase 2, Isheri olowora, we go 2-3 days without electricity, the power situation is really bad here. I'm even considering writing a protest letter to PHCN.
PoliticsRe: Sagay, Ezekwesili, Aribisala Clash At Roundtable On Corruption War by inspbado(m): 12:25am On Apr 01, 2016
I don't like Mr Aribisala one bit, but I side with him on this issue. I voted for president buhari at the last polls, but I'm a bit disappointed with him so far. I think the govt's anti corruption fight is not coordinated, its all for show and one sided. I don't know why the government can't set up special courts with special powers to deal with corruption, since it says corruption is the bane of the country. Likewise, I think it is the height of deceit and sheer hypocrisy for a govt that prides itself on being above board and "clean", to be involved in nepotism and favouritism as seen in the recent CBN employment saga. Rather than address the controversy thrown up by the recruitment process, the govt is keeping mum and the CBN is trying to cover the sordid incident up. Rather than castigate and bully the students who agreed with all Mr Aribisala said, prof sagay nd Mrs obi should just for a minute, put aside their obvious political partiality and reflect on what he said. It will do them and us a whole lot of good.
TravelRe: 7 Reasons Why You Should Remain In Nigeria by inspbado(m):
Cuteamigo1:
And still the Germans will look you straight in your eyes and call you a monkey. news flash Germans don't like anyone but Germans. they belive people like you will interpolate their race just like it's happening in USA and Britain. am speaking from facts not speculations. that exactly what they said when their chancellor agreed to take in refugees. congratulations on you expedition but mind you Germany dint grow to where it's at today by its citizens running away from it.
like many people said Nigeria is where it is at today because Nigerians don't like Nigeria. op nice post.
Your fellow Nigerian will say far worse things to you, do heinous acts on you and treat you inhumanely in Nigeria than a whiteman would ever do in his country and no body or government would try to protect you (at least in the whiteman's land his govt would try to give you justice and restitution).
See, anyway you cut or dice it the fact still remains that Nigeria is a very very harsh and inhumane place to live in and It is only the wicked, heartless and morally bankrupt that strive and make it BIG in naija (when I talk big I don't mean your average middle class guy or working. Class man, I mean multi-billionaires and millionaires). In saner climes, you don't really need millions to live a comfortable life. But here in Nigeria if you don't have millions(presumably in dollars) you can't live a reasonably comfortable live. Nigeria is the only place where you work months on end and you don't get paid, yet your employer (govt and big Oga businessman) live large, frolic about in large expensive cars and rub their rich lifestyles in your face, all at your expense and yet you're expected to lick their arses and genuflect to them.

So my broda forget all this your patriotic BS! I would rather be a comfortable 2nd class citizen in another man's land, than be a piss poor, uncomfortable and miserable 1st class citizen in a jungle like my country!
PhonesRe: Crowd At MTN Office Ikotun by inspbado(m): 9:24pm On Dec 03, 2015
Nigerians like suffering sha! Instead of frying yourself in the hot sun, pushing and fighting to register your sim in this yeye mtn's offices, why don't you just stroll to the nearest etisalat or glo office and port your sim. You get to keep your Mtn number and you don't suffer all these embarrassments and sufferings you go through in the hands of Mtn. A word is enough for the wise ooo!
PoliticsRe: Nigerians React To Diezani's New Look by inspbado(m): 3:01pm On Nov 14, 2015
Everyday I weep when i go out and I see poverty in the faces of thousands of people I met, I mean I literally wept one day when I saw a young boy with a huge tumour on his face being carried by his mother on the street. I feel for these people, sometimes I ask God "why"?, why do you let this happen. However, for this woman, believe me when I say I feel nothing, absolutely nothing for her! She and the "privileged few" make life difficult for the rest of us in this country. Nigerians are not callous or wicked people, we are one of the most sympathetic folks on earth. If you do good, in your time of need we will sympathise with you (case in point Dora Akunyili), most Nigerians cannot empathise with dezani because of her excesses in govt. This should serve as a lesson to others; whatever position you find yourself try to do your best, don't let power get to your head and try and curb your excesses.
