Christianity EtcRe: Your Word For Today - Bible Verses That Inspire The Atheist/Anti-Christian by inspiredbyGOD(m): 8:48am On Jan 08, 2013
Psalm 9:9
The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in
times of trouble. And those who
know your name put their trust in
you, for you, O LORD, have not
forsaken those who seek you.

Psalm 23:4
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow
of death, I will fear no evil, for you
are with me; your rod and your
staff, they comfort me.

Deuteronomy 31:8
It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be
with you; he will not leave you or
forsake you. Do not fear or be
dismayed.”

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is
wasting away, our inner self is
being renewed day by day. For this
light momentary affliction is
preparing for us an eternal weight
of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are
seen but to the things that are
unseen. For the things that are
seen are transient, but the things
that are unseen are eternal.

Zephaniah 3:17
The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who
will save; he will rejoice over you
with gladness; he will quiet you by
his love; he will exult over you with
loud singing.

1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you that is not
common to man. God is faithful,
and he will not let you be tempted
beyond your ability, but with the
temptation he will also provide the
way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

We all need to be lifted up and encouraged at times and the Bible
is a great source for
encouragement.The Bible is the
living word of God and feeds us
through the promises of God found in scripture. Lemme post some Bible verses for encouragement.
Strength Quotes For
Encouragement

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in
dread of them, for it is the LORD
your God who goes with you. He will
not leave you or forsake you.”

Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I
am your God; I will strengthen you,
I will help you, I will uphold you with
my righteous right hand.
Christianity EtcRe: You Worship Almight God By Bowing Down To Him Not By Clapping Or Dancing by inspiredbyGOD(m): 8:50am On Jan 05, 2013
Bowing down is not a sign of true worship. What's the point of bowing down to God if you do not live your life in accordance to His will?
You don't bow down to show how much you revere God, you show that you worship God by your actions.
Christianity EtcRe: Thirty Questions For Teachers Of Eternal Torment by inspiredbyGOD(m): 11:05pm On Jan 04, 2013
@alexleo, why don't you answer this question
How do you cast death and Hades literally into a
literal lake of fire? (Rev
20:14) If this is symbolical
then why is the next verse
'and whosoever was not
found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of
fire' not also symbolical?
Christianity EtcRe: Thirty Questions For Teachers Of Eternal Torment by inspiredbyGOD(m): 10:36pm On Jan 04, 2013
Alexleo, before you wish unending torment for someone else, think of you yourself being there. For people like you, the fear of hell is the beginning of wisdom.
Christianity EtcRe: Thirty Questions For Teachers Of Eternal Torment by inspiredbyGOD(m): 8:57pm On Jan 04, 2013
A man has a child who disobeys his simple command. The man decides to deal with the child for disobeying him. He flogs the living daylight out of the child, taunts him and makes the child kneel down under the sun. You pass by the house the first day and you notice the child suffering under the scorching sun; you say to yourself, "the child probably deserves it". You pass the second day and you still meet the child outside the house under punishment. The third day, the same thing is still happening. For one whole week, this child is still outside kneeling down, he has not eaten nor drank water nor has he slept. You pass by after the one week has passed and you still meet this child outside. What would you think about the father?
Is it possible for a father to treat his child in such a way?
No?
Then why would you think that the perfect Father would roast His creation for all eternity?
Christianity EtcRe: Omg!! Omg!! Prophet Uebert Angel Miracle Money by inspiredbyGOD(m): 10:54am On Jan 04, 2013
HumbledbYGrace: and this man does not have a purpose?
twisting tiger hafa? I said Christ's MIRACLES had purpose.

He is a Prophet for crying out lou
And I say, not everybody that calls himself a prophet is of God.
Matthew 7:15
New International Version (NIV)
True and False Prophets
15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s
clothing, but inwardly they are
ferocious wolves.

I asked if it was just that its money that's y ur so furious
The "miracle" is spurious and that's that.
Christianity EtcRe: Omg!! Omg!! Prophet Uebert Angel Miracle Money by inspiredbyGOD(m): 9:13am On Jan 04, 2013
And could you please stop comparing this man to Jesus Christ. Christ's miracles always had a purpose.
Christianity EtcRe: Omg!! Omg!! Prophet Uebert Angel Miracle Money by inspiredbyGOD(m): 9:09am On Jan 04, 2013
^^^^^ Seriously? You think I'm passing judgement on the man? I'm just being skeptical. First off, why would God recharge your phone with airtime?
Why would He send money into your bank account and into your pocket? Where did the money come from? How did it get there? These kinds of "miracles" need to be probed under a big magnifying glass
Christianity EtcRe: Omg!! Omg!! Prophet Uebert Angel Miracle Money by inspiredbyGOD(m): 8:57am On Jan 04, 2013
uj_sizzle: Why can't money appear in pockets or overflow? Jesus gave a command and there was money inside a fish! He prayed and 5loaves of bread n 2fishes fed a multitude! What happened to greater works than this will you perform if u believe in me?
I haven't supported or condemned Uebert Angel here, all am saying is this shouldn't be so surprising or sound far fetched.
If you keep thinking so little then your inheritance will always be proportional to your mind.
It is not every miracle that is from God. When Moses performed miraculous signs before the pharoah, even the sorcerers could do the same thing using magic. Even the bible tells us to test every spirit to know if they are from God. Bottom line is, not everyone who calls on Jesus is Jesus' servant.

Matthew 7:22-23

22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not
prophesy in your name and in your
name drive out demons and in your
name perform many miracles?’

23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me,
you evildoers!’

HumbledbYGrace: it beats me on how people pass Judgement on others without looking @ themselves first
I wasn't passing judgement. It is not everybody that performs "miracles" that is of GOD.
Christianity EtcRe: Omg!! Omg!! Prophet Uebert Angel Miracle Money by inspiredbyGOD(m): 8:36am On Jan 04, 2013
HumbledbYGrace: So ur now God?
I aint God, I used a bible verse to support my claim. Such "miracles" would only make people lazy. Why would I need to work for anything when God can be dashing me money everyday leading me to take God as my personal mint machine and not as my GOD.
Christianity EtcRe: An Atheist View On "God's Plan" by inspiredbyGOD(m): 12:50pm On Jan 03, 2013
God’s Sovereign Choice
6 It is not as though God’s word had failed. For not all who are
descended from Israel are Israel.
7 Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s
children. On the contrary, “It is
through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned."
8 In other words, it is not the children by
physical descent who are God’s
children, but it is the children of the
promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring.
9 For this was how the promise was stated: “At the
appointed time I will return, and Sarah will have a son.”
10 Not only that, but Rebekah’s children were conceived at the same time by our father Isaac. 11 Yet, before the twins were born or had
done anything good or bad—in
order that God’s purpose in election might stand:
12 not by works but by him who calls—she was told,
“The older will serve the younger.”
13 Just as it is written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”
14 What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all!
15 For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have
mercy,
and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”
16 It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.
17 For Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this
very purpose, that I might display
my power in you and that my name
might be proclaimed in all the earth.”
18 Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have
mercy, and he hardens whom he
wants to harden.
19 One of you will say to me: “Then why does God still blame us? For
who is able to resist his will?”
20 But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God?
“Shall what is
formed say to the one who formed
it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’”

21 Does not the potter have the right to make out of the
same lump of clay some pottery for
special purposes and some for
common use?

22 What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his
power known, bore with great
patience the objects of his wrath— prepared for destruction?
23 What if he did this to make the riches of
his glory known to the objects of
his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory—
24 even us, whom he also called, not only from
the Jews but also from the Gentiles?
25 As he says in Hosea: “I will call them ‘my people’ who are
not my people;
and I will call her ‘my loved one’ who is not my loved one,” 26 and, “In the very place where it was said
to them,
‘You are not my people,’
there they will be called ‘children of the living God.’”
27 Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the
Israelites be like the sand by the
sea,
only the remnant will be saved.
28 For the Lord will carry out his sentence on earth with speed and finality.”
29 It is just as Isaiah said previously: “Unless the Lord Almighty
had left us descendants,
we would have become like Sodom,
we would have been like Gomorrah.

onetrack: If God exists he is certainly not worthy of any honor or admiration, given all the evil he has caused in the world, including drowning the entire world and starting over just because he couldn't get it right the first time. Such a god is to be cursed and condemned.
Man's destruction is man's own fault. You reap what you sow. The world was filled with extreme wickedness and deserved retribution for their wickedness.

Atheist:-D:
If it is not His will (as you have stated) then He has no control over what is unravelling, He also has no means to change what is unravelling. Hmmmm.
Saying it's not His will doesn't mean that it's not His will. Take for example a teacher advises his class to read for an upcoming exam cos failing would make him cane them. The teacher doesn't want to flog them cos he doesn't like doing that but if they fail, he would still flog them (although it is not his desire to flog them).

Atheist:-D:
It doesnt answer my question. Is it Gods will to have negative things happen? Be cautious how you answer this... because I have a point I want to express.
GOD's will is not for man to suffer and that is why HE sent HIS only begotten son to die for us so that we might be saved from falling into darkness. GOD finds no delight in the suffering(s) of man. The suffering that we are going through will soon come to an abrupt end when GOD's Kingdom is fully established on earth.

Atheist right? You think man created the concept of God to keep man in check. Well, that's false cos GOD IS REAL. I'm a living proof of HIS existence.

Atheist:-D:
shocked

How can such actions be to His glory if it does not glorify Him?

Anything that has ppl looking at God negatively cannot be to His glory. Hence He plays no role in such actions. But yet He orchestrates and plans everything and hence He has a lead role in everything including such actions... a paradoxhuh

Did I get it right tongue
If any negative thing happen to man, it is only man's own fault. You reap what you sow and GOD only gives you what you deserve.

That is 100% wrong grin

If any of Gods decision are not to his glory then we can assume they are not his decisions wink

Or what do you think?
That is the point. Everything HE does is for HIS own glory. HE is the Master Programmer and we are just executing code.

Now i know atheism isn't just the belief in the non-existence of deities, it is also the belief that humans are nothing but animals and hence should behave like animals. Look at this evil brain and kay17 dudes; people should use their organs as they wish, what nonsense!!! If people are allowed to use their organs anyhow, then there's no point in condemning paedophiles, rapists and those who make love to animals. Hey people, word reaching me from nl atheists: we are all free to use our organs anyhow. In.cest, rape etc are allowed. Behave like animals since we are no better than dogs.

Psalm 30:5
New International Version
(NIV)
5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning.
-----------------------------------
I don't think GOD would go against His character. I do feel that there is a place of torment where the wicked will be destroyed. Think about this; only through Jesus can we get everlasting life and without Him, you only get the opposite which is death. If people are going to get tormented forever and ever for all eternity then that would mean that they would have life in that lake of fire not death. The bottomline is, hell is the place where the wicked will be forever destroyed (cease to exist).
